If you are in need of a whole house generator P and L are the ones to call. They offered me an excellent product just right for my needs. (I had them install a 20kw whole house Kohler Generator). They quoted me the best price compared to another company and also Lowes (who only offered Generac products). They did a turn key installation, with wifi capability for monitoring and included a signature gas manifold to help with startup. I am very pleased with their service and they keep up with the annual maintenance for a reasonable price. Very professional installation and very pleasant communications with office personnel. Thank you P and L Generators. The machine has certainly earned it's keep. Worth every dollar. Money well spent.

P&L employees provide *excellent* service after the initial purchase and installation of a new generator. My experience shows they definitely go the extra mile. I had a few incidents last year when a relatively new generator failed during several different electrical outages. What appeared on the surface to be an issue with my Generac propane-powered generator turned out to be an issue with my propane tank s regulator. P&L was even willing to refund me a service fee as I hired an electrician and numerous other people to assess the problem. Fortunately, a seasoned technician with the propane company ultimately found the problem was, indeed, a faulty regulator on the tank. This aligned with what P&L initially suspected, and their employees were exceptionally patient as this issue was resolved. I give P&L a 5-star review.

I just installed a 48KW Kohler generator for my house. P and L did a fantastic job from the beginning, starting with informing me of my options and requirements for my home based on my wants/needs. They were quick to set up service, install the generator, and obtain the inspection. They cleaned up afterwards and left my property looking neat. They were easy to contact and quick to return my phone calls. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

We have had a generator from P and L Generators for a few years. They evaluated our *needs* and then they gave us choices based on those needs. We ended up with a generator that was more affordable than we thought, and not the brand that we expected. There are many reliable brands.Our generator is monitored, and it does a self-check once a week. If P and L sees an issue with our generator, they call us to let us know. Then, if a tech is needed, they will send one out. Just knowing that our generator will work in any weather, or power emergency, takes away multiple worries, like wondering if our food in our refrigerator will have to be thrown out.During the last ice storm, when power was out for days, some people in our community were able to come to our home to take hot showers.After 34 years of multiple military moves, we've found that the best way to know if a company is trustworthy, is when it is recommended through word-of-mouth from people who have lived in that area for a long time. We found P and L Generators after neighbors told us about them.

Best decision we have ever made except accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior! Customer service is excellent as when we called with an emergency they dropped and came immediately and fixed problem. Best money we have ever spent as we are never without electricity. We have referred P and L to all our friends and family.

Excellent service. My generator is now 10 yrs old. Has never failed me. Their monitoring service is second to none. Always have and always will recommend P& L to anyone in my area. I couldn t ask for a more convenient service. This is the way retirement is supposed to be.

My husband and I have been fortunate to be customers of P and L Generators for several years and have found them to be most reliable and dependable in taking care of our generator. We have had only one situation regarding the generator when the weather was bad, the company was out to repair and get the generator up and running during the storm in no time. Servicing the generator has always been in a timely manner. If anyone might be thinking of purchasing a generator, I recommend P and L Generators.

We have been supported by P&L for a number of years. They have always done a very thorough and professional job maintaining and servicing our generator. We have a large, whole house system that we depend on and have always had great support from P&L. We consider them essential to our system!

P&L generators are just awesome. I purchased my generator from them 12 years ago and where I live I think it runs more per year than most of their other clients. Great service and prompt response if I have a need. Love the service and maintenance program, keeps my generator running great. Would highly recommend them for anyone's generator needs.

Great service from this company. Any time we have had a problem it has been solved quickly and efficiently. We recently upgraded to a 20kw Kohler whole-house generator with installation and monitoring and moved our smaller generator to our shop, which has its own electric service. Money well spent for this East Texas home.

The down side to this review is we sold the house that the generator was installed for. We purchased the generator from P and L and they provided great service when needed and explained what services were needed to keep it ready for when it would be called on. There were at least 3 times power was out and it ran for as long as needed. I installed a Kohler and have nothing but good about them.

I love my generator! I have not been without power since I've had it. During the terrible freez, I was warm and toasty. P&L generators keep it in good working order. I've only had to replace a battery once the whole 6 years that I've had it. I went with a Kohler brand, and am well pleased with the service.

Dependable 20KW Kohler generator and excellent service since install in June 2019. Paul went the extra mile during install by rewiring some of the incorrect electrical wiring on the house at no charge.

5.18.2023 We are still happy with P&L after all these years and we are very happy with the Kohler 14kw. We're on P&L's annual maintenance plan as well as their monitoring plan. The office staff is well trained in product and their computer system. The maintenance folks always come prepared for anything and, thankfully, we've usually had just maintenance work.2017 original post We've used P&L Electric for years for our whole-house generator, whether it's a DIY job (we got parts from them and amazing advice) or a service visit. Their service team is well-trained, can explain anything to anyone regardless of the customer's knowledge level.We recently sold our whole-house generator and changed brands by purchasing a Kohler from P&L, which is a relatively new product for them. What a difference! We researched the Kohlers and had a few conversations with Linda about the difference between our "other brand" generator and the Kohler. Linda and the service team have ramped up quickly on the Kohler.On installation day, the service team loaded the old generator on a trailer and installed the new one. We are very pleased with the service and the product.1.19.2021 updateWe've had two power outages in the past six months. We were out of power with Hurricane Laura for 46 hours and we were without power with the snowstorm for 76 hours. The Kohler performed flawlessly. A year or so ago P&L started remote monitoring of the generators and they know when our generator is offline or something needs attention.P&L has been a great generator company. It's good to know they're watching out for us.A few other notes: Get your generator installed when you don't need it so you have it when you do need it. One of the greatest benefits of having a generator, besides having the comforts of electricity, is it won't release back to commercial power until the power is stable so you avoid power surges which can wipe out appliance.A word of advice for those of you getting a generator that will use propane. A 250 gallon propane tank is too small! Get at least a 500 gallon tank. You don't want to be the person who is on generator, low on your 250 tank, and the propane service can't get to you for another day or so.. Also, put your tank in the shade.
