If there was an option for negative 5 stars I would select it. Don t go to this place they absolutely DO NOT care about your car or how long you wait. I made an appointment a week in advance just to drop my car off so they could hook it up to a machine and tell me what was wrong. Should have only taken an hour or two. 5 hours later my car had not been looked at and when I asked when it would be they had no clue. Horrible customer service.

The person answering the phone seemed put out that I called to bring my car in to get ready for a trip. They were so rude that I hung up and called the place across the street. Go to A-auto. Much nicer.

This place is great. The ladies at the front were so sweet and humble. We had to get our car looked at last minute on a road trip during lunch hour for a minor issue, and they got us in and out within 15 minutes. So thankful for the women and the fellers. I love coming here to get my inspection done, they're super quick. In and out in less than ten minutes even with other people ahead of me. Ladies up front are friendly too.

Terrible place very rude I showed up at 5:00 and they said they couldn t service me because they are closed but they don t close until 5:30. All they are doing is standing around talking to eachother not doing anything !!! Bad service

We got truck repaired. Later months took back with same issue. The paperwork we had didn't specify which brake rotor. They said they replace the right. Then we got to the shop they said it was the left one. They did not want to honor the warranty work. Very disappointed with the service.

Positives: fast and cheap inspections, correctly diagnosed and resolved squeaking AC fan beltImprovement opportunities: thoroughness of mechanical diagnosis, honestyI brought in my wife's vehicle in the morning to diagnose a shudder/vibration emanating from the front end while driving at highway speed, and steering wheel shaking during braking and acceleration. Suggested possible causes to investigate: brake rotors, CV axle, lower control arm bushings.Did not hear back from the shop until late afternoon. Receptionist only told me one thing: the transmission is "toast". I questioned whether the tech did indeed look at the suspension components. She called back 30 minutes later and said "the tires need balanced" and that the transmission is "slipping and sliding". Additionally, they "don't do anything with tires or wheels" so they are unable to help with my apparent wheel balance issue.Based on my own observations driving the vehicle, the transmission shifts smoothly from a full stop up to highway speed. While I do agree with the tech's assessment that the transmission fluid is dirty, I am unable to identify any "slipping and sliding" or other actual malfunctioning of the transmission. I believe it is unlikely that the tech actually test drove the car at speed, or made any serious attempt to diagnose the suspension shudder. He most likely only gave a cursory examination of the car at low speed or stationary, and checked fluid levels. If the tech had actually driven the car at speed, he would have known that the transmission does not slip and that there is significant shudder coming from suspension, brakes, or tires, which is the actual problem I requested to be diagnosed.I appreciate the input about the transmission fluid and I am having the fluid serviced to ensure long life of this transmission. However, I am greatly disappointed that this shop was unable or unwilling to diagnose and repair my suspension related issues, and in fact I am quite perturbed that they are so quick to try to sell me an unnecessary transmission overhaul. I will continue bringing vehicles here for state inspection but I recommend avoiding this shop for repairs.

Very much appreciate all the help M &T has given me! I've been bringing my cars to them for two years and am always impressed by their congenial service and especially their speed. They never keep you waiting and are always professional and communicative about what is being done to your vehicle. I would suggest them to anybody in the Mont Belvieu/Baytown area!

Customer service staff are all friendly..service staff installed 2 lug nuts i bought and brought with me for no charge. Great place. I have my car inspection done there every year.!! 5 stars

Honest Affordable and Knowledgeable. I use to do only car inspections there but they are great mechanics. Excellent service, prices are very reasonable and the staff are very knowledgeable. The mechanics saved me money on an old Honda Odyssey by avoiding unnecessary maintenance. I thought belt needs to be changed and other parts but they inspected and confirmed that they are in great working condition. They could recommend changes on the belts and other parts and make money but they are honest business. Only think needed was to replace the front right Axel and they did it with a very reasonable price. The dealership asked me for a fortune and keep trying to up selling me by recommending all kinds of costly replacements and maintenance. Very polite staff in the front office, the ladies. I dropped the care in the afternoon and picked it up the next day noon. So time is greate, too. Some Mechanics keep the cars for days. But, they have more than too hard working mechanics.

Amazing and honest people. I tried to take my car to the dealership for an issue and was told it would be 3 weeks! I called and was able to bring it to M&T auto repair and within 2 days they called to quote me a price AND fixed my car. Highly recommend!

I've been going here a couple of years now for my vehicle inspection and they've all seemed like down home, knowledgeable and honest people. They're thorough, but quick as well. I think I'll always go here and would definitely recommend their services.

Receptionist was rude, and they did not care that I was dropping my car off for the third time for the same problem I already was told was fixed. I dropped my car off with never having my engine light on. I got it back from them, and they seem to just want to charge you for something else everytime with the engine light still on. Of course I leave thinking I need to drive a little bit before it turns off after running it a day or 2 but nope had to bring it back to see why and what is wrong for the third time. I've already invested money on them fixing it so hopefully it's fixed this time but will not be going back their for a fourth time no matter whatService: Engine repair

I love this business. They went the extra mile with my 1999 Protege making sure everything was ok. Even when I brought it back with a concern, they took time to chech it out and calm my fears that it wasn't what I thought it was. They made it right for me. I'm a Senior Citizen and I know honesty when I see it. They took care of me and my old car. Left with a smile! Staff is great!

I have a twelve year old Jeep in mint condition due to M&T. My Jeep runs like new. My mechanical ability ends at pumping gas into the car. T he rest I owe to M&T and the excellent care they provide.

I over paid for their services and my car is still giving me problems. I did not go in for routine maintenance but I posted pictures of their prices to help ppl seeking those services. I will say this, they seem to have an established clientele. Just the feeling I got when I went in and their restricted business hours hinted at that. They aren't really looking for new customers. If this is your place then it probably serves you well but if your looking to establish a relationship with a new mechanic then maybe think twice.

I was having major heating problems with my heater. Took my vehicle in for them to check it. My Mother hadn't flushed out the radiator is forever. Had lots of black crud in radiator. They flushed it twice and even fixed my rear back-up lights. price was great. They were super nice to me and explained everything. I would highly recommend them to everyone, especially in the Mont Belvieu area.

terrible customer service from the people at the front desk, and when i came in to have my alternator replaced they instead charged me $200 for a battery i didn t need and didn t even bother to check my alternator. and then when i called about coming to pick up the fender wall they didn t put back on my car, they said it was missing when i dropped it off and they didn t have it, even though when my mom called them about it they said i could come pick it up. very unprofessional and very bad attitudes toward customers.

Took car in for a bad coil and check engine light on... $545 later car still miss firing and check engine light still on. Only explanation was that the car needed a tune up! which was another $550. Was told the car was fine before being picked up and the check engine light was off. completely dishonest people, would never do business there again! Noticing on these reviews the owner doesn't even respond to the negative reviews....
