Jay called me to provide his arrival time while he was headed my way.The day before, I had provided the VIN and a photo of the part.I had researched the prices of parts on line to have a good ballpark figure in my mind.The price for the parts he quoted was the same as I found. He did not do the normal double of the prices as other shops do.The estimate total with part and labor was reasonable. Especially, when you can sit inside of your home while the work is being done.Bottom line - my daughter's car was repaired quickly without needing to have a tow fee as he was able to get done the repair at home.The total fee and repair work was a good experience.Having a good and honest mechanic is a rare thing these days.I will have him do other things in the future.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Needed an ASAP repair on my daughter s car over the weekend. Her alternator was out. Jay came out and replaced it for her within a few hours. He came back the next day and took her battery back for me as it was still under warranty but had been killed by her alternator. He also changed out her battery terminals as they were all corroded and not getting good connection. He also drove her car to check her brakes because she thought something was wrong with them. He was honest and said they were fine. Someone else could have easily said they needed to be replaced just to make the money. Jay is super fair on his pricing and he will definitely not take advantage of making money off of the deal if the work doesn t need to be done. This is super important as a woman dealing with a mechanic and knowing nothing about cars. He shows up when he says and if he is running late he communicates with you to let you know. I definitely would refer his services to anyone needing a good, fair priced mechanic. I will definitely use him in the future for any of my car repair needs.Services: Brake service & repair, Battery

My husband and children and I were stuck in a parking lot in Houston and they came and worked on the car in the heat of the day till they got it fixed. Did not overcharge and did a great job.We are so grateful and want to say thanks so much for the great job they did. We're so glad God led us to call them for the car repair!Service: Battery

I can t brag enough about Dubbs Automotive. I called around closing time to see if someone could come out to take a look at my car and they came right out and did an amazing job! They stayed late to finish the job and reassured me they would get the job done - completely easing my anxiety. The guys were super nice, respectful, and efficient. Had my car TWO years and NEVER fixed it! Motor that I paid for, never got installed, block is missing, keys missing. Asked him to retun my items and NOTHING!Cowardly ghosting me. After I went to the police, he promised to work on my car.Another lie. I gave him 3 weeks and finally tried to reach him for progress and cowardly ghosting AGAIN. I had a wrecker to go get it.The car still looked like it did...nothing had been done. Now I have a broke down car and all of my hard earned money is gone!You took my money and produced NOTHING in TWO years! How do you sleep at night?

Charge diagnostic fee and later found that his diagnostics was not the problem after charging $600 and not fixing the problem. Jay was very problematic with his commitment issues of time and not holding his obligations orcommitments and was a vulture in adding more charges after leaving the car disabled. I would highly recommend nobody using this individual it will be very regrettable!!Now the owner response is calling me essentially a liar as opposed to owning up to deficiency. Very unprofessional! Please buyer beware as some client reviews are questionable to authenticity. Had to give minimal 1 star as won't allow to post review with zero star.

Called for a diagnostic and the guy said he will be st my location in 30 minute. An hour passed and he called saying he was looking at my car. I said I was not home and asked him to return. He tries calling but I did not hear my phone. I try to call back but he blocks my number. I look at my cameras but did not see his vehicle near my house. I called from a different phone and the man I talked to was extremely rude and told me to get off his phone and take my business elsewhere. Very bad business practices, very poor customer service and extremely rude. Avoid at all costs. Side note they need to learn to read and comprehend

We got stuck in Houston, as the car won't start. Called the dubbs, they came in decent amount of time at the spot after the call. I would say God sent the dubbs guys to help us. They came at the spot and fixed the car where we were at. Good mechanic, good service, honest business. Less or reasonable price.will highly recommend them. Great customer service, very trustworthy. Jay & the guy that came out to look at my car were honest about the issues my car had and the best way to fix them. I m new to Houston & don t know anyone so I was beyond stressed about it. I have an older model p/u truck that needed a lot of attention. The mechanic worked on it thoroughly until he fixed all the issues that was causing my check engine light that was blinking. When I drove off no lights were on and the vehicle runs 10x better. First time we had to use a mobile mechanic And have to admit we were a bit nervous. But, after they arrived at our location our minds were put at ease. These guys are beyond professional, on time, and very sensitive to our feelings, needs AND pocket book! Super sweet! They really know their stuff. Friday, May 7th was my first time receiving service from Dubbs Mobile service. The service was great he was in on time and out within an 1 1/2. He drove my vehicle to make sure everything was working properly and he told what other service I will need pertaining to my vehicle.
