When the phrase, "first impression is the lasting impression" is used, it speaks volumes especially when you experience it in a positive and consistent way. My husband and I both are BIG on companies being intentional about giving GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Well, the first impression of this company for us was definitely a lasting impression of professionalism, knowledge, accuracy and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Auto Check surpassed our expectations. Justin was the one who took care of my vehicle check in at the front desk. He was very polite, very informative and detailed on everything that my vehicle needed as well as quotes given. Both my vehicle and my husband's vehicle were taken care of in the same day in a timely manner. As a courtesy, so we wouldn't have to wait, Justin arranged for us to get a ride home as well as get a ride back to pick up our vehicles, thank you so much, Justin you were super amazing. Thank you, Wesley and Carlos, for taking great care of us as well. We are grateful for our experience we had, and we will definitely return for future repair work. We will also recommend Auto Check to others. Thank you so much Justin for making sure our expectations of great customer service was met because it all began with you and your warm welcome as soon as I walked into the building. Thank you, Mr. Bill (I still owe you breakfast LOL), and to the General Manager Matt Humphrey's for a great experience and the laughter. Mr. Humphrey's, I would like to commend you for the great staff that you are leading and how it gives a great light on you as a leader. You all keep up the great work! Thank you!

Had my Avalon fixed there: engine head gasket leak, steering rack boots torn. Got it all fixed in good time and at a good price. Nice clean place, knowledgeable, polite, friendly team. Will definitely make them a shop to bring my car in for check up etc.Thank you Auto check team.

I brought my car in for service the other day and these guys were great! Bill met me at the door, very friendly, and asked how he could help. I left my keys with him and within a couple of hours he called to tell me what the problem was, and also explained what maintenance I had coming up that I needed to consider. Bill was not pushy nor did he try to over-sell, he was great! I will definitely use them/him from now on for my vehicle needs and my family's.

Avoid this place. Very RUDE people. Raising voice for me asking questions.8 years I have been passing and this place fails me. Well run car, well maintained car. Failed because there is a sticker that reads tire rotation at a certain miles and read it as a service due. This duds don t understand there is a maintenance setting in the cars now-a-days.

Updated review. Spoke with Matt over at Auto Check after my visit and last review. Matt was polite,professional and extremely knowledgeable. We spoke on the phone for almost a half hour while he went over every question and concern I had. The fact that he reached out to me let alone took as much time as he did spoke volumes. I ll gladly be bringing my vehicle in to Auto Check. You can tell Matt really cares, even offered me other solutions that his company doesn t preform (Tint) and even went over my vehicles recalls with me, giving insight and suggestions for potential issues. Bill at the front desk was great. His great attitude and Matt s professionalism and character will bring my business through their doors time after time.

They try to sell unnecessary repairs. Please be careful about their sales tactics and recommended repairs. Especially about the African American guy at the front desk. They suggest expensive items and try to force you to immediate repairs. I sought a second opinion, and it was confirmed that there was no issue with the car.

I had the best service here! Neville was very courteous and helpful and took great care and time in explaining what needed to be done for my truck and why for my upcoming road trip. He estimated an unbelievably short wait time and my truck was ready within that same time frame! Him and Jose even took the time to show me what my coolant tank looked like before and after flushing. I have found my new service station and couldn't be happier!

I have been going to AutoCheck Missouri City for inspection services and general maintenance. For the first time my vehicle needed some significant repairs and I completely trusted they would accurately diagnosis the issues and repair them in a cost effective way. The responsiveness, follow-up and their explanations were all outstanding. It is not often the branch manager -Matt follows up to make sure I was completely satisfied. He is definitely a cut above all other auto repair and full service shops I have used over the last 30 years.I would highly recommend you visit and enjoy the service I experienced. I feel blessed to have a service provider who I can trust with my transportation needs!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto detailing, Battery

What can I say this place is wonderful! From the start Bill took great care of me and gave me great information about my vehicle. He also was upfront and honest about pricing, unlike the shop across the street. Bring your car here and Bill and the gang will take great care of it for a reasonable price! Bill was very unprofessional and rude. Immediately looked upset. Idk if he had a problem with latinos but I definitely will not be reccomending anybody here. By the way I have a fleet of 20 vehicles that needed to get serviced but I will be taking my vehicles somewhere else. So disappointed.

I was trying to locate a good quality repair shop which was open on Saturdays. Well I forgot that I had gone here about one year ago to get a state inspection. I spoke with Bill at the front desk and was glad he helped. I got my oil changed and a couple of light maintenance items. I asked about brakes and and air filter, and was glad he recommended we wait and did not try to upsell me. If it needs to be done, well then lets do it. These guys are honest and work hard to complete your car on the timeline promised. I was told they could complete it by 1:30 and so it was by 1:20 I was in the car and driving home, able to get about my day. I am definitely coming back, and next time I might drop it off Friday night. I have been many other places, and I have found the one at the top of my list.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Been going here for the last couple years. Staff is knowledgeable, straight up and up front with prices. They don't over charge like some of the spots nearby. My wife and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I called before going to auto check his tone was not very customer service but he did tell me his fee. In everything we do I feel our tone is a major part. He failed in our conversation. Im thinking being female he can respond in a unpleasant tone. Mechanics in business should talk to people with CS. He quoted his diagnostic fee with no problem but did he want my business nope. I really question his reviews. I m only given two stars because he did answer the phone.

The alternator of my car stopped working and I got it diagonozed at AutoZone. So I stopped by AutoCheck and Bill was about to close the store and was not able to give me an estimate on what will it cost me to replace the alternator. His computer was apparently shut down and hence I dropped my car at the parking lot and had him call me Monday morning with the estimate. He called as promised and quoted me $850. Further he said the Serpentine belt is also bad and needs to be replaced. It was little on the high side for my 2003 Toyota Avalon and I politely told him, I will try to do it myself. His attitude suddenly changed and asked me for a diagnostic fee. All I have asked for was a ballpark estimate, so that I can decide on the next step. He literally threw the key at me and said get lost!!!! One of the rudest person I have seen lately!!!!!! I brought the parts from AutoZone and took it to a local mechanic and got it fixed. And the mechanic had me return the Serpentine belt, as he said it is in very good shape!!!! How can you ever trust a service center like this, for first of all being rude at their customers and then lie about your car!!!! I will never go back to this place and I would suggest you get a second opinion before you do any work with this people!

I used this place many years ago and forgot about it since my car was in a CPO program. Recently I needed a state inspection but with my new job, I could only get it done on weekends. Unlike many other places, Auto Check Missouri City is open on Saturday. As I was looking for a place to go, I saw their shop on Google and was reminded of their great service. I was not disappointed. I first gave them a call and they told me that they could take care of my car and there was little to no wait. I drove to the shop and as promised, I was second in line. The service was A1 and the guys were extremely friendly.Something important I must mention is that they did not try to upsell me. There was no talk of unicorn in my flux capacitor or giant repair bills for odd problems. (Believe me, I have been to places for a state inspection and was told my car was undriveable and it would cost $3000.00 to fix it!)I recommend these guys for their honesty, prompt service and friendliness.

They have always been really honest with work needed and cost of service. They are great at communicating while doing work on any vehicle. I would highly recommend this auto shop for their honesty and integrity and ability to get the job done.

I have gone to Auto Check on several occasions and each time I have had a great experience. I was surprised at how efficiently things were run and how quickly my car was completed compared to other places I have gone in the past. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I was well informed as to what would be done to my car and how much time it would take. I felt the prices were great and I didn't feel I was being overcharged. This is friendly, clean, and well run business. I will continue to go back to this particular Auto Check in the future for any services that my car needs.

I brought my truck for an alignment and Neville took great care of me! He did exactly what I asked him to do without any pressure of upselling any other service! And the truck drives smooth and feels great! If you guys need honest and quality service, look for Neville on this location and he will take good care of you! Will definitely go back to this location for any future services!

This auto repair shop is pretty sketchy. It's decent for getting a check up and confirming your issue on a car, but the repair work they charge is outrageous. My starter on my car stopped working and I was quoted $1,000 for repair. It was not too difficult of a thing to self diagnose, I went there originally to just confirm and see how much they would charge. When I said I wouldn't want the service from them, they immediate jumped down to $700, then $470 and even with their final number of $370 it was excessive. They really try to guilt trip you on how their parts are better and they are superior because they are original manufacture. I ended up going to Auto Zone finding the same OEM part for $100 and went to a local mechanic that wasn't as big and was only charged $100 for the repair. It only took 20 minutes and didn't require any special tools.This place really price gouges you and it's terrifying, this is one of those mechanics that they speak of all the time to be wary of. Really believe the low rated reviews that state they price gouge. Also, find a mechanic you know and trust, don't be fulled by their professionalism and demeanor, they are out to hustle you.I suggest you call around to local mechanics and tell them your diagnosis to get an estimate, getting your car towed to another mechanics doesn't even cost as much as the combine total of how much they were asking.

I had my truck towed in because it wouldn t start. Everything came on but it wouldn t start. They don t have up to date equipment to properly diagnose the issue. My truck was there for 2 months. Had new engine, battery, starter, etc. put in truck. Truck drove a week and stopped again. Everything came on but it wouldn t start like the first time. Took it the the dealership and they found that it was lock on the starter. Simple fix. I m out of nearly $2000 for a simple fix.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Since my husband and I moved to Missouri City last year, we've taken both of our vehicles to Auto Check for all of our routine and unscheduled maintenance. They've been honest with us, and do good work. I appreciate that they will give us a ride home when we drop the car off for the day as well- that's a service not every shop offers, and it makes a difference. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the area who's in the market for honest and fast work.

The owner here is a real class act, who's honest to the core and the reason for a well-deserved updated review. He refused to rip me off when he had a chance, but instead educated me on some simple facts that I should have already known. I will definitely consider them for any future repairs and offer a glowing endorsement.
