I normally jut give a scale rating only but I want to give a huge shoutout to Oyavu. He is truly amazing, he went to great lengths to get my car repaired so I would not be without transportation. Thank you so much for going the extra mile.

Oyavu at AAMCO is absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond and was very helpful diagnosing my trucks transmission issue. Super friendly, knowledgeble. Definately the best place you can trust your vehicle

I need to take my truck in for a check up they replace my transmission at the beginning of the year and I told him that the dealership told me that the transmission holder was loose he said they don t cover that I could take it in to see what you re talking about I seriously hope they do cover that because nothing was wrong with my transmission holder prior to thisBut It s too soon to tell I haven t gone there for the service this was via telephoneSo since this post I called to see if they were open and it was a Saturday the person that answered the phone says they were going to close at 10 because her mechanic was leaving OK I guess it happens today I drive over there because when I check the website it says that they re open and I get there and they re not open so somebody needs to update their website informationOk 3rd update Big O called me made an appointment for me reassured me that he would take care of me he even called me on Friday at work to make sure that I was going to go. Get there Saturday morning 8 o clock I tell him what the dealership told me he took me inside underneath my truck and there s nothing wrong the transmission mount is fine absolutely fine he even went as far as pointing out more things that the multi point inspection from the dealership should ve picked up like the fact that there s a small leak in the radiator and that the radiator fluid is extremely low in addition to the power steering fluid being low I don t understand how this could happen what is the multi point inspection for and very grateful to Mr. O for taking the time and showing me what everything looks like at what everything is because I don t know Peter from Paul when it comes to vehicles he took the time to show me and he was even kind enough and he didn t have to I offered to pay and he said no ! And topped off the fluids. I am very appreciative and grateful for him and that PK that he gave me definitely helps me feel more confident when I go and talk to the dealership on Monday regarding these allegations of Extreme wear and loose mountBig O mechanic informed me it is not recommended to change only one shock absorber that they come in pairs they should ve done both of them and they didn t they only did one. It is very difficult to find somebody you trust when it comes to your vehicle ,at least for me it is !so grateful to Mr. big O I will recommend him every Chance I get .Thank you!I have added the information the dealership gave us regarding the SO called recommendation of serviceI needed for my truck.Service: Transmission

I visited Big O's transmission service yesterday only. I had a marvelous experience yesterday. Big O is very keen and dedicated to look at your vehicle and is very thorough and sincere to give the details of the work required in order to fix your vehicle. His knowledge, his sincere approach and his expertise with professionalism makes him a very good choice and you feel that you are at the right place and the outcome to your vehicle will be very good under his professional hands. A very hard working sincere and dedicated individual with a lot of expertise for all the jobs that he does. I would recommend him at anytime without any hesitation. The week of Thanksgiving, my car started having issues. I took it to a shop that my family has used for 30 plus years. They told me that my ECS cable was wet and not to worry; it'll dry off and be okay. I don't know anything about cars but because I trusted this person, I went with it. Later, the problem occurred again and when I brought it in, they said it was the transmission. So, I bought I used transmission and had it installed. It was roughly around Christmas time when the guy said it was good to pick up. When I test drove it, the problem continued to persist so I sought a second opinion. I went to AAMCO and after running a diagnostic test, they determined that my ECS cable needed to be replaced to determine if that was the problem or the transmission. After replacing it, turns out the transmission I bought from the other shop was not good (which they noted that it didn't look to be in the "best of shape" at AAMCO). So I went back to the old shop and asked for my original transmission back but they sold it to the place that they bought the used transmission at. At this point, I'm just devastated at the money lost, time lost, and just broken inside. When I took the used transmission back, I got a partial refund and my original transmission back. When I brought it back to AAMCO, they looked at it and noticed that it had been tampered with and after taking a closer look, they discovered that my original transmission had been disassembled and parts along with gears were missing. I thought I was broken and felt defeated before, this bit of news broke me to a cellular level. At this point, it's late January and AAMCO provided me options of what I can do other than selling my car and buying a new one. I decided to have my transmission rebuilt because a new car (or even used), was not an option. I'd already lost $600 to the old shop. AAMCO rebuilt my transmission and gave me a generous discount for the services I got. Finally, I got my car back in working order in February. I am so thankful to them for everything they did and for Big O for helping me and working with me. I highly recommend them because they were AWESOME.Service: Transmission

These guys did great work getting my 1955 Chevy back on the road after many years of neglect. The car is still a work in progress, but the work they did to get it street legal has allowed me to drive it while I work on it.Friendly, nice guys that treat there customers right.

Beware!!! I paid to have my transmission fixed at this location which was very expensive, and it took 4 months and still counting to be resolved. I am currently working with the corporate office and an attorney to resolve this matter. In short, they cannot accurately diagnose the problem with my transmission and will blame it on any and every thing to escape responsibility after they have taken your money. Chad (manager) is unprofessional and does not care about his customers or the quality of work that comes from his shop. If you ask too many that may concern you, Chad will get frustrated and call the police to file trespassing charges instead of resolving the issue amicably.Part 2 - In response to management response:I have video footage. Which I will forward over to your corporate office. Your statements here are false. The video time stamp is 5:56 pm when the police arrived. Your store hours ends at 6pm. Therefore, It was not after hours. In addition, I did not block employees nor did I refuse to leave. You wanted me to accept your mixed answers, grew frustrated and called the police. You fail to mentioned that you replaced the torque converter after 5 rounds of repairs which is not an electrical component. I did not force you to repair my car. You gave me a quote, I paid you and you could not execute on your repairs after 4 months.

My experience was Super awesome, kind, professional and very happy! I went in as a walk in with a transmission issue and the manager attended to my car. Very polite and he took care of my issue as a courtesy which anywhere else would ve cost me about $200-$300! And the owner was there as well and also a very kind and humble man! I will recommend to everyone and you will leave there happy and blessed! Thank you guys!

My key was stuck in the ignition, I stop by to schedule an appointment and received service right then with no wait. I want to thank Rob and Big-O. These guys were amazing and I love how they made me feel comfortable about my vehicle. This will be my go to place for my car repairs.

I called Big O and told him my car symptoms. He was able to tell me exactly what the issue was. I had never been there or met him but he sent me a tow truck on request. Within 24 hours, he confirmed the diagnosis and looked for an even more cost effective repair option. When it wasn't going to work, he called back to let me know before proceeding. It was ready for pick up less than 24 hours later. GREAT Service and the location in set up for safety and social distancing. Best experience, ever!

Very honest and knowledgeable. They service all of our work and personal vehicles. I take everything to them and if they can t do it they give me a referral for another honest shot. Mechanics like These at this particular Aamco are hard to find. Robert and Big O are the bomb! Theo, one of the guys in the shop is very nice

My son's car is facing a huge noise problem and has visited some body shops, including the dealer, in the past year but none of them find the real problem. The boss is very professional and immediately found the problem. Just few hours the car went back to normal and became very quiet. What amazing work they did! I've always received excellent customer service and car care from AAMCO Missouri City, TX location. The skilled technicians will have you up and running. Saving the best for last, Big O, the store manager, is an asset to the company. He is responsive and keeps you updated on your service needs. Big O is always professional, friendly and patience in explaining. AAMCO meets all your car care needs.

Big O and the technicians were professional, courteous and just fantastic in helping me with my auto issues. I took my car in that afternoon and that evening I was picking up my car before six. After 3 other mechanics being unable to diagnose my problem, they were able to tell me in minutes. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future.Highly satisfied customer!!!

I am always impressed with the workmanship and the caliber of customer service and honesty that stems from this hidden gem. Don't let the name fool you, they don't just do transmissions! Big O, Mike, Jim & the rest of the team provide quality service and honest assessments. Appointments are recommended as their quality service had become quite popular! They are worth waiting for!

Great and fast service with our transmission problems. I have had two transmissions repaired there now. Both times I was informed about what was wrong, how long it would take and the cost. "Big O" kept me updated with their progress with the repairs. He also checked to see if everything was still working good with the transmission a couple weeks after repairs was completed.I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if needed!

"Big O" and the team always greet you with a smile, a kind word and the assurance you'll leave with your car issues resolved without over charging. Being a woman, there's always the worry that repair shops will try to take advantage of our lack of knowledge sometimes. I can honestly say I have NEVER had that feeling from them. Whether it be an oil change or a major repair, I always leave feeling like I received the best service for my dollar; and they are always mindful of your time and the importance of that as well.

Excellent service, highly recommended! I discovered this repair shop after another shop did a poor job replacing the transmission on my mom's car, that resulted in all kinds of problems. We brought the car to this AAMCO, and they were able to bring the ailing car back to life. We have been taking our vehicles to Big O ever since.Big O is very honest, caring and helpful. He even replaced the headlight bulb on my chevy for free after other shops were charging upwards of $100!! Most importantly his team always takes the time to get the job done.I'll continue to take my vehicles to Big O and his team as long as I'm the Houston area, I've never experienced such wonderful customer service at any other repair shop.

I started using AAMCO from an number of different repairs to my car. I took it in for a transmission change a while back and the service at this location is outstanding. Not only the young gentleman behind the counter, but the mechanics as well. They spoke to me as if we were standing in my driveway looking at my car. Friendly, intelligent, with solutions that fit the problem at hand. It's hard to find a place that will service your car with honesty. I feel that this is the place. Thank you to the team at AAMCO.

Well I must say, I have not had this kind of customer service in 10 years. This place is fantastic. Not only do they do the job right, but Big O and his team go above and beyond to make sure the customer is taken care of and delighted. Forget being satisfied, that word means nothing to this team and place of business. The go well above that. I brought my car to them (it had to be towed) because of work another place did incorrectly. They fixed the problem quickly and explained what they did every step of the way. I had to bring it back weeks later for a leak, and they fixed that the same day...worked me in. I am going nowhere else, this place is does great work, are very respectful and kind, and they understand completely what customer service means....a rare find these days.

Big O and the crew are awesome! I came to the shop to find out if my car was having transmission problems. I set an early morning appointment and there was no wait upon arriving for the service. They wanted to know as many details as possible to properly diagnose the issue. They test drove the car while I was in the passenger seat so I could explain the issues that I had been experiencing and afterwards took a sample of the transmission fluid. They showed me the fluid in person and gave me other suggestions to fix as to why my car was acting the way it was. All of that was done for no charge! I really appreciate them for being patient and attentive with me and my car! Thanks so much guys!!

This was my first experience with AAMCO, but it will not be my last. Big O and his team are amazing. They took a couple days to troubleshoot my car problems. During this time, they tried to work with AutoZone for parts, checking for warranties. Unfortunately, my parts were not under warranty. Therefore I took them the parts, they installed, and they resumed troubleshooting. All the while, nothing was charged to me No other shop I know will install parts for you without a charge. The same occurred when they informed me that my drum shoes needed to be replaced. I had the shoes, but had not replaced them They took my shoes and installed them for free. The service is AMAZING, the prices are fair and they only charge for what is agreed upon by them and you. Not to mention the amount of work they will do for free (related to the ongoing work) while working on your vehicle. I highly recommend this AAMCO location to anyone. This recommendation is based on the customer service and quality of service. I have never had a better experience at a service center.

Aamco Missouri City and Big O are amazing! Been there multiple times, and Big O is always SO professional and courteous, and willing to take the time to really walk through everything they see and recommend. Wow....Just Wow!! My son had a headlight out and I had zero time to deal with this problem. I called Big O who had recently put in a transmission in another one of our trucks. He said bring it on by and I was there within a half hour. He personally went out and replaced the bulb and then cleaned the headlight that was fuzzy!! The charge for this amazing and unbelievable customer service???? Absolutely zero.....he did not charge me a penny. I am so grateful to have found these awesome mechanics and will undoubtably be back again and again because they are amazing and I have a lot of cars!!!
