I m extremely grateful for the crew at Superior Oil Express! They are willing to go the extra mile, especially Ray, the Shop Manager.Special requests don t upset them at all. Like: doing an Engine flush prior to the oil change, or lubricating the upper ball joints; which is a two man job.They do it all with a smile, and great attention to detail! Thank you so much, Ray! Pulled in for an oil change, spoke with an older gentleman and told $57 dollars high mileage. I said then I was offered to get my headlamps cleaned $20 a piece, I said ok. Everything went smooth until I was surprised to pay $30 dollars of labor . I asked why? John told me it was included in my $57 dollar oil change. So I ended up paying $98 dollars for an oil change. Wow plus $40 dollars of headlamps. But my headlamps and still dirty. I was forced to pay $30 dollars I don t need to pay. So yeah this place is tricky. Gonna have to report it to BBB. Don t come here! People are not honest. It s my fault for coming, never again. Tricky people, lying, uncomfortable, ready to charge you that s for sure! The Older gentleman was the only honest person!!!

I understand that the oil change must be done as quick as possible as I paid for my oil change I was told by the mechanic you know how to reset your oil light right? I said yes I do but thinking that should have been done by you the mechanic and I also didn't pay attention till I was gone that there wasn't an oil change sticker with miles for next due date and Mileage again I was in a rush to do things I went to check under the hood and there was oil everywhere! I don't understand how dirty someone can be with someone else's vehicle it take a few seconds to wipe down the customer's vehicle

I absolutely love this place!!! I have been here since they opened, all their staff is super friendly and extremely helpful...they never try to convince you need more than just what you went in for, they are honest and let you know if your vehicle needs anything else, but don't pressure you at all Ladies Tuesday's are "Lady's Day" which gives us a discount...try this place out, it won't disappoint

Went for an oil change and they wanted to charge me $120 for and oil change which should normally be $85. They try to take advantage of you if they see you as the type of person. They will charge you more than you need to pay and will say its due to expensive oil or other special reasons. Called a different store, gave them my car info and ended up paying $75. Do not go here, they will try to take advantage.

Grateful for the guys/gals at Superior for the outstanding service! We had our brakes replaced and oil changed which took a couple of hours. Everything is running great! They offered me a ride home and picked me up so I didn t have to wait in the shop while the work was done. Thank you for trustworthy work and great customer service. Terrible experience this Monday afternoon. What was supposed to be a routine inspection turned into a complete waste of time and a frankly slightly gross service. I will say the waiting area is clean and comfortable and most people were polite and agreeable. The person who tended to us was not. They were clearly sick (or tweaking) nose dripping and coughing into their hand before taking our credit card (not to mention when he took our car to inspect it) all of which I wouldn t have noticed if they d been wearing a mask. I would not have taken it into account or even written a review if that had been the only thing wrong, but to top it off they gave us our papers with the wrong car written making us return and wait for the inspector even longer. He comes back and then coughs right in front of our face (my dad is immunocompromised in recovery of an illness). Please avoid at all costs!

Stopped by this location to get an oil change. When I arrived there was little to no communication,but they got to work instantly. Within that time of silence, my old oil was removed and new oil was placed in without asking what kind of oil (traditional va synthetic).Management, as a fellow business owner, you all have some tightening up to do.1) Your associates aren't asking what kind of oil your customers want (potential upsell)2) This has inconvenienced me because being a regional driver I'll have to get a oil change a lot sooner than typically scheduled.

I ve been coming here for a little over a year and I can say with much confidence I ve always had the GREATEST customer service and a very quick oil change performed on my vehicle. Just today I had a unique situation occur to my vehicle right before heading out on a 4 hr drive. I called superior for assistance on this, they took me in immediately and had everything sorted out in a timely manner with the utmost respect and professionalism. Due to these reasons I refuse to go to any other shop unless it s superior.Services: General repairs, Oil change

Unreal TERRIBLE service, came in for an oil change and got conned into paying for a service that I didn t need. I was told by the technician that my vehicle had an oil leak and if I wanted them to check where it was coming from. Of course I agreed since it s my only means of transportation. The tech took my car to another area where the mechanic was going to find out where the leak was coming from. After an hour or so the mechanic comes in saying its not an oil leak. He said it was actually the water pump that was leaking. They told me they would order the part for me and let me know what the cost would be to install. Paid $47 for oil leak inspection but I wanted to get a second opinion as I ve been scammed before by these types of shops. Vehicle got inspected by our mechanic who looked it over and he found no leaks at all, anywhere. I spoke to the manager on the phone and he said to come by for a refund, but when we got there, the (mechanic )was trying to show us where the leak was coming from, which by the way had no clue where the water pump was! The manager got very rude with us and refused to give me back my money. Which it wasn t about the money anymore. It s the fact that they take advantage of people. I did take a couple of days to write this review in case t I was wrong and they were right but guess what, my drive way is clean no oil leaks or water leaks. My car has not over heated and the water pump is still at max level.I doubt that this place will be in business for long if they keep conning people. I would not recommend this place to anyone, reading the comments here I now know that this place might be good for an inspection sticker, but as far as vehicle maintenance, they just don t cut it. I guess they ve never heard the expression, the customer is always right . Their service didn t even come close to Superior!Service: Oil change

$40 basic oil change, super fast, good lobby to wait (very little), clean restroom. Way I see it 5 gallon jug of oil is about $25, oil filter is another $5 to $10. Plus they gave me a teacher discount ($4). If I was to do it all by myself $30. I'm literally paying $6 for labor. Shoot that's a deal. Great job guys!

Had my oil changed today. Great service, nice people. I have been here twice now and I will go back for more oil changes.Update: 5/11/16I have now been there multiple times for an oil change and I have been treated with the utmost respect and friendliness. I have no complaints about the Mission, TX location. I wish all businesses in the Valley were as conscientious to their customers needs. Still 5 stars from me.

Went in for a state inspection, and it was done quickly. My only beef was that some guy with colored eyes that couldn't even force a smile attempted to sell me a service I didn't need. Asked $30-40 for buffing my lights - "Cash only."No thanks, Sebastian. I'll pay my $7 inspection with card and never come back.

I like to joke I need to go to the ripoff shop if there is ever something wrong with my car but these guys are genuine con artists. Every time I have taken my car here, there has been extra problems a day or two later, like coming in to get my tires rotated and then next day my brakes suddenly have a problem. Now I have a bill where I was charged for an oil change twice. Mind you I only ever come here if there is an emergency or something needs to be done immediately and I have no time to go anywhere else as these guys are close by and are quick.However today, they were not quick and are currently short staffed, having to have the mechanics work the front desk. An Oil Change does not take 2 hours when all they have are two cars needing state inspections in front of you.Services: General repairs, Oil change

Extremely courteous. And so fast! I showed up prepared, with some earphones and something to read, thinking I'd be there for a while. I had my entire oil change, tune up, filter changes, and inspection done in less than 40 minutes. I sincerely appreciate how friendly everyone was, especially at 8am. Will definitely be returning for any vehicle needs that might arise.

I've only used this place three times, but the service was immaculate. The staff is very friendly and the place looks very well kept and organized. Only issue I had was that I took my work truck for an oil change and it turned out they didnt accept ARI fleet insurance like they said they did and I had to pay out of pocket. I hope they renew their account soon so I can continue to take my business there. Other than that, this is a great place to use.

This shop and the mechanics are all top notch. I can't even begin to count the thousands of dollars they have saved me over dealerships with my cars. They are honest, and know their stuff. I have a friend with 2 high performance show cars who could not get his cars diagnosed anywhere. He took them to different shops and they couldn't figure out what was wrong but wanted to charge him out the wazoo to diagnose the issues. He brought his car here & the master mechanic diagnosed it within 5 minutes. As for me, they have gone so far as to drive me to my house & drop me off. How many shops do that? They have price-matched, etc. I refuse to take my cars anywhere else but here. Finding a reliable auto shop can be tough, so I'm glad I can trust these guys. I am an actual customer, and have been for years. My wife knows the owner, so she tried them out first. Now we both take our cars here.

Never come here.Oil change was super fast and affordable BUT my car is in the shop less than 24 hours after visiting. Mechanic said the oil cap was broken and had leaked lots of oil throughout the engine and bay. Was not informed of any damage before leaving this location and had to pay an outrageous Christmas tow and stay in a hotel and miss work due to failure to communicate something that could have been prevented. Now my car might be totaled and I m out hundreds or maybe thousands trying to fix or replace a car for what would have cost them $7-$20 to replace or inform me about. Incompetence and complacency is not worth the price.Lady at checkout was super nice at least.

I took my car in on May 17, 2021 when I walked in I told the front desk manager that the knobs on my A/C were not working. I wanted to show him and he did not care to see it. I left the vehicle with them, they never called me to tell me what was the issue, I had to call every day. After a week they said I needed an A/C kit. That didn't make sense, but I told them to do it ($1400), I paid it. A week later now they say its the radiator, I go in to speak with the manager and the mechanic. Mechanic says he graduated top of his class he knows what he's doing and that its going to get it fixed. I finally get a call that it is ready. I go and inspect the work, I open the hood several caps are missing. Very poor quality in workmanship, I ask for the top of his class mechanic about the caps, he said their in the shop, he then gets them and installs them in front of me. I then proceed to turn on the vehicle, the knobs for my a/c still do not work. I had told them what the problem was and they didn't even fix the problem that I originally went for.Later that day the manager calls me that he is going to install the knobs free of charge. Next day the manager calls me back that he has to charge me for the knobs and that the a/c mechanic has quit. Its been over two weeks and I still have not received my vehicle in working order. I call the manager he tells me "pick it up if you want"?? That is really bad service, they want to charge me with out fixing the issue. The car is still in the shop, I have asked to speak with the owner several times and no one wants to show face.They start working on the original issue, everyday the manager tells me that its going to be ready "today" this went on for about over a week. Everyday he tells me that they are not going to charge me extra. Well when I finally went to pick up my vehicle (3 - 4 weeks later). They did charge me extra, according to Jon, the back office person Zinnia needed to correct the ticket. Total cost for the job was $2,200 and it took them about 3 to 4 weeks. The point I am trying to make is that they never gave me accurate cost of the service they also did not know when the vehicle would be ready.It appears that Jon and Zinnia are the persons in charge of this business and they both do not know what they are doing. I spoke with Zinnia and the whole time I was telling her about how poor the shop was doing she was giving my son a whole bunch of junk from her office that wasn't even from their shop. He walked out with some Cup from Mr. G propane shop and a face mask for an adult. Instead of being professional and "Listening" to the issue she was ignoring the issue.I am sure they will respond to this message as they have to other messages saying that they offer "Superior" service and that they want to make things right. I have asked the manager several times that I want to speak with the owner.Services: Air conditioning, Oil change
