John Deere's product, warranty, and service are all poor. I spent a little more money for the brand name because I hoped to get quality and service. I got neither.1. Bought a new mower last month and registered the warranty.2. Put about 5 hours on it.3. While cleaning the deck, I noticed the PTO blade belt was twisted and very loose. I untwisted it and recentered it on the spindles.4. The belt worked fine for about 30 minutes and then broke.5. I was gonna replace the belt and hope it was a fluke, but I noticed the plastic belt guards were worn down, which seemed weird.6. I called the warranty center, they told me to take it to United Ag and Turf.7. I took it and showed them the broken belt and guards. I asked if it was covered by warranty and they said they would check it out.8. Was charged a diagnostic fee and told it had a broken belt that is not covered by warranty. No mention of the worn down blade guards.9. I asked about the melted belt guards, they said it's because I didn't keep the mower at full throttle (I did, by the way) and it is unrelated to the belt breaking.10. I show reviews from dozens of other customers on John Deere's website citing the same belt problem, but United Ag said they've never heard of any problems.11. I ask about their sign that says "No diagnostic fee if covered by warranty", but I'm told that my brand new mower with a registered warranty is not covered by the warranty.12. Took home my broken mower after paying a fee to be told my broken belt is broken. Why did no one just tell me the belt is not covered by warranty? That would have saved me time and money. It'd be better customer service to just say, "The warranty is useless. You re on your own!"This was the first new mower I ever bought, and now I'm afraid I'll be replacing a $50+ belt every five hours. I regret choosing John Deere.

Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We anticipate many good years ahead of us with the new equipment.

Very good service. Zac was helpful to explain each part I bought and where it goes on my tractor.

The only good experience I ve had at United Ag is buying my 5045E tractor and JD shredder a couple years ago. After that, it s all been down hill. Service manager is never in his office and you have to wait 15-20 minutes for him to show up from wherever he hangs out. When he does show up, he completely ignores you until you make him pay attention. Told me he blocked his office door to keep customers from sitting in his office and taking too much of his time. What an arrogant excuse of a service manager. Service techs seem good, though. Then there is the parts department. I asked for an oil filter and they gave me the wrong one then said I couldn t get a refund because it had oil on it. Of course it did I tried to install it, dah!! Now, I regret buying JD equipment should have bought another brand. If you re planning to buy, I suggest looking elsewhere. I don t have issues with the equipment just having to deal with very unprofessional and unhelpful people after the sale!

Terrible service department. They are going to do whatever it takes to squeeze every dime out of you, even if you have warranty coverage. They don't call the manufacturer on the warranti unless you force them. The service manager told me that he didn't "have time to bother with curtousy calls" before repair is begun. They will diagnose and repair and charge full price and never tell you what you will owe until it's complete. They do not bother with repair authorization from the customer. They are rude after the fact and honestly don't really care if you are upset about it. On a separate ticket, they had an opportunity to waive a diagnostic fee where nothing was done and this could have helped the situation, but instead they charged full diagnostics for almost $50 with a smirk on their face. It was bad gas, they were going to replace the clutch. They just want to rob you. I will drive 50 miles next time just to avoid this place. It is under new ownership and is going down hill fast.

It's really a toss up as to who gives worse customer service--John Deere or AG Power! We bought an $8,000 John Deere machine from AG Power (after having countless problems with a smaller, less expensive model we'd had only a short time). Within a couple of months (after the refund period had passed), we were having problems with the new machine! We called AG Power and their attitude was basically, "We can't find anything wrong." We called John Deere and their attitude was basically, "Well, AG Power said they couldn't find anything wrong. I don't know what else to tell you." So much for that warranty.Beware! Once they seal the deal and the refund period has passed, this is the way you'll be treated. Go elsewhere, for both a better machine brand and a better retailer!

Paid full on April 22 nd for small tractor.Sales person was store manager:Bobby Madsen.Looks like professor, but business the behavior like never was dealing with human,i called him 6 -7 times during few weeks, every time he said : i will call you , called just one time. After waiting for almost 3 weeks i came to the store to get to know what is going on with my tractor.Nobody called me before ,nobody told me,when will be delivery, nobody care: because i paid in full, nobody interesting to the customers who paid in full. This is business model of the store.I was told by Bobby Madsen, the tractor will be delivered tomorrow:on Thursday. It was delivered, yes, but without manual.I refused to take it.The tractor was delivered back to the store. On the next day i got text message about delivery on Tuesday. From other person, not Bobby Madsen.Someone else told me :soorry for non convinion, but not him. When i called to the store, everyone sent me to the person who sold me tractor:store manager Bobby Madsen.I called 3 times to him ,i was told :he was told i called him, nobody called me back.If you want to waste your time:use John Deere in Mineola, the store manager Bobby Madsen,he can excellent wasting your time and make upside down your planes regarding purchusing tractor.I suspect he was dealing with animals like horses or cows whom he gave promises and got silent instead. But we all humans and want respect and expecting to get what we were promised, not like this Bobby Madsen, who now went to offended mode by me.I wish to Bobby Madsen the same business what he give to his clients.

Worst service ever. Went in for an oil change and replace the blades. Wound up paying $500 for unnecessary repairs and the blades look old and don't cut the grass. Will never return. Previous owner was honest. I couldn't say the same for current operation. A smear on the John Deere name.

My new tractor has 45 hours. Has been in the shop twice now. Both times has come back with hydraulic hoses lose leaking. Now it will not run. Spoke with service manager. He acts like a sleazy used car salesman. Very condescending when asking about the problems with my tractor. I will never be spending another dollar here again.

Wasn't very interested in selling me what i was looking for. Apparently, my 70 horse power tractor is too small for a "real" hay baler. Did get a price for a baler that my little tractor could pull. It was $2000 dollars more than the same baler is in Tyler.

Thanks to Eric, the service manager, for sending the technician, Jake, to take care of the issues I was concerned about. Both men were courteous and more than corrected the problems.

Agpower in Mineola is a top notch opperation. Tracey in service is awesome. I just picked up my stihl BR600 blower and it runs better than than ever. Two weeks ago they repaired my Bg85c with the same results. They service and sell everything from hand held power equipment to the largest agricultural tractors.
