If you actually care about how your vehicle looks, this shop is not the place for you. Paint drips, scratches on new paint, misaligned bumpers, not putting screws back into brake lights, and the list goes on. The owner has a severe lack of care towards customer service and respecting time frames.If you appreciate your time, money, and most of all your vehicle I would highly highly recommend going elsewhere.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

We have used James Body Shop several times over the years. Great service and family owned. Today my 2019 Tahoe got covered with little speckles of white paint due to TX DOT repainting part of FM 663. A man by the name of Junior helped me get the paint off and showed me exactly what I needed to purchase to finish removing everything, free of charge. I appreciate the honest service/help today.Service: Painting

I had an excellent experience, my wife backed into our garage and broke off the rear spoiler on our car. I ran up to James Body Shop and spoke with Junior. Real friendly guy. Explained to me how it needed to be fixed. Within a few days it was done! Very competitive price and I asked him to touch up the paint, which looks really great! Very impressed, would use them again.Service: Body & Trim

I can't say enough good things about this business, not only did they repair my granddaughters car, they do it with a smile and great attitude and kindness. This was my 2nd time here and would never consider anyone else for our car repair needs. Very reasonable price which was a bonus.

What the owner says and does are not the same. The quality of work is that of a cheesy used car lot. I tried this place two times, with two cars. Both cars had bad masking, bad body work, dirt in the paint and over spray. I wanted them to work out, not going to happen. I will not be back.

Went in to get a bumper, a door, and a fender replaced. Was told about 3 weeks in that it would be done by the end of the month, come end of the month, and i was told "oh any day now". We got tired of hearing this and called the people they ordered from and they gave a straight answer. After that we got a call from the owner chewing us out for "going behind their back" because we called the part place instead of them. After that they proceeded to say it would be done by the end of the week, then the same thing the next week, and the next. Overall it took 2 1/2 months, and it wasn't even finished, I had a missing fog light that they said they couldn't find, and the paint was chipping already and didn't match the rest of the car. The only good thing about this place is JR, he was the only one who seemed to actually know how to do his job. TL;DR Don't go here, they treat customers like trash (as mentioned in other reviews) and they'll take foreverService: Body & Trim

Earlier last year I dropped off a hood to be painted. This hood was brand new and already primed. $400 is what I paid for a single coat of paint. There was shop dust and a few hairs that were under the paint. The paint has been chipping from bugs hitting it while driving. This hood looks 10 years old already. If bugs are chipping the paint then I would say this is not a quality place to get your parts painted. It seems they gave the small job (my hood) to the least experienced person, and didn't put much effort into it. I'm being nice with that second star I gave.

Well...sorry to say that I was not happy. When I first stopped by to ask if they could fix and estimate etc...the owner told me and I quote..."You can't just waltz in here at lunchtime and expect us to jump." I tried to let it go and made appt. to have my car repaired. Left my car and they said it would be ready on a certain date a few days later. I called on the assigned date and was told they had been overwhelmed with phone calls on hail damage due to a storm...they put me off another day and I was really stressed with no car and no way to get to an appt I had later that day. When I picked it up..there was clear overspray on my windshield...had to go back to have them clean off the clear coat off with alcohol and steel wool...a week later I discovered clear coat on multiple places on my car. I had been to so much trouble and time....and did not want to evoke the owners anger again...so I am still driving my car with overspray clear coat on my car...it is just NOT attractive at all, however, I don't want to deal with them again.

We keep calling and calling and calling for a hood replacement all we are told is okay i have you in my notebook let me give you a call back or i haven't found a hood at the junk yard yet would you like a brand new one if so I'll call you back. Seriously how does this place stay in business.
