They continue to make mistakes and provide sub par service. I would never take my personal vehicle here and I only take my work truck here.The cabin air filter they use on F150s does not fit properly so dirt will get past the filter. It has a larger lib and the dimensions are off. It will not sit under the intended holder and needs to be bent in order to fit. This will leave big air gaps. The panel air filter is grossly under sized for such a dusty area.Do your own maintenance or pick a different shop.

I was the first person in line for an oil change and they let two people go ahead of me. Every time I have gone there the white girl has been so unhelpful. My hood has to be manually opened and she looked so confused and lost when i told her she literally never came back to help me even after i opened my hood and let other customers go ahead of me. Went to the Valvoline on Midkiff and had no problems.

Oil change took well over an hour. I was the only vehicle in the shop. All the employees were in the office. When I was complete and got home. I noticed a pool of oil under my truck. After inspection realized they hadn't tighten the oil filter. And dumped oil from the old filter down the side of my engine and undercarriage. I understand accidents happen but atleast clean up. Extremely unprofessional as a company. Would not go back and definitely would not recommend this outfit. Take you vehicle to a reputable shop not this one.Service: Oil change

Watch your odometer records! This location doesn't seem to care what odometer they put in for your maintenance. Even when they are called on it to correct, they still don't get it right. Good luck speaking with manager, they just send you to voicemail. Just wait until you have a warranty issue and your manufacturer voids your warranty because of their complete ineptitude. Came in for an oil change and I was next in line but had about an hour wait to pull in. The staff were were nice but seemed to lack any customer interaction experience. They seemed to be very inexperienced in their job but what you would expect as businesses try to re-staff after Covid. When I left, my car didn t sound the same. When I got to my destination, I popped the hood and found the oil fill cap had not been replaced and left sitting in the intake manifold. I replaced the cap but a third of the engine compartment had been splashed with oil. I believe with better training and use of their checklist that issues like this could be resolved.

Customer service was not good at all. I went for something simple and they were rude, and obnoxious. Take 5 did way better and I would suggest Take 5 over them any day.

Worst place by far! Filthy and nasty inside and out. Smells.Service was horrible. I asked specifically for filters to be changed. Asked for specific oil. They said okay. But when they finished all that was done was an oil change. No filters. Didn't use the oil I requested. Said, "oops were out of it. My bad. " That's all the explanation I got. They didn't check any of my ties. Didn't fill any of my fluids. Very rude staff. Do not use this company ever! Tried to speak with Lindsey the manager and she was extremely rude and hateful! The tech named Mercedes Is the rude tech that allegedly changed my oil. Headed else where to verify oil change and actually get service.

EXCELLENT Service!! Driving through Midland to Dallas with my Siberian Husky and my AC started blowing hot air. After making a few calls, Valvoline Instant Oil Change told me they would take care of me without an appointment and add freon, which would cost between $155 - $205 after the AC diagnostics. They said it would only tsake about 45 minutes. When I got there there were a few cars ahead of me but a female mechanic came out to my care, manually assessed my AC, & determined that my cabin filter needed to be be changed out (It was very dirty). I didn't even know I had a cabin filter behind my glove box. After replacing my cabin filter the AC worked perfectly blowing out very cold air. I didn't need the diagnostics nor the freon and they didn't even charge me for replacing my cabin filter. I was out of there in 10 minutes and didn't pay a dime. I made it to Dallas with my dog with cold AC. Exceptional customer service and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Every other place I called was either closed or required an appointment for the following week.Service: Air conditioning

Went here 45 mins before they closed only be ignored by 4 employees who made taking out the trash a priority than helping a customer. They rudely began to start my oil change while making negative comments. Then overcharged me for work they didn t even do. They didn t put the nuts back on the plastic cover of my vehicle I feel on purpose making a grinding noise as soon as I left, swung into a take 5 oil change they gladly helped me for free, put the nuts back on and gave me a coupon for a free oil change since I was having such a bad day. Everyone was very nice and kind and told me what was going on and what they where doing. Got my oil changed very fast and tried to do my head light but they said it was too much to take apart to get to it. very understandable ! The only complaint was when I went to the bathroom there was dirty nasty tampon applicator sitting on top of a very full trash can for all to see. Really don't want to see someone dirty stuff. As a girl you wrap it up and toilet paper so no one has to see it. Especially since that bathroom is shared with customers.Services: Electrical, Oil change

Took the work truck in, the lines we re back up so I didn t expect to be in and out but surprisingly I was the wait wasn t to long the person help check me in was Paul and I just wanna say excellent young man knowledgeable, friendly and professional told him we d love him at my company y all have a good worker when no one started on my truck he started and I forgot the young man work on my trucks name I believe it was Nicholas? came and finished up in a timely manner first time I ve ever felt a pleasant experience thanks to those 2 thank you again will be back again with other work trucks and I ll have my buddies bring theirs as well.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Waited for over 2 hours here for a oil change. When they actually began the service, they failed to communicate when it came to draining the oil and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes when they could have began much sooner. In addition, they proceeded to spill oil all over the engine and other components under the hood when refilling the oil. After leaving, my husband realized they did not tighten the the cap well enough after draining as the car was leaking some oil. Very horrible service, wait time, and staff.

Even though everyone was very nice. There where a few frustrations. One; they had me turn on my car while someone was still in the pit working on my car. Second; I get back home and find out the skid plate was not secure. Now it is just hanging lose. The frustrating part of all is, I live 4 hours away..now I have to find someone to fix it.Service: Oil change

Fast inspections only reason not a 4 is because I had to ask for my receipt when done at least offer some people do keep logs on the stuff. When asked don't act like we did something wrong just do it be happy.

Took a chance on this place after not being overly impressed last time. One car in oil change bay. Waited 7 or 8 minutes, watched a young female employee look straight at me, walk in front of my car, then return to the oil change bay with a pizza slice in hand which she ate while talking to the guy standing there. 5 minutes later some other employee walks by my passenger side from behind, goes inside a few minutes, comes back out, and instead of coming to the rolled down driver's side window (which must have been too many steps) comes to the passenger side window. No greeting, no change of expression, asks what I need, I decide to forget about Take 5.Service: Oil change

We called to make sure they were doing state inspections, we were told yes until 5:30, when we got there they told us no they weren t doing them. This is the second time this has happened with these people. We will not be back! Take 5 however, took care of us in about 30 minutes total, with an oil change! The oil change was very fast and the mechanic was knowledgeable. While I was waiting in my vehicle to pay some of the workers had an argument (between the manager and mechanic). It was VERY unprofessional and I would blame it on the management. When there is an issue with work employees then it should be handled else where, not in front of the customers!Service: Oil change

Well, it's definitely not Avis Lube anymore. You aren't greeted as a guest, the door to the lobby isn't held open for you, there are no refreshments offered to take your mind off the wait. It's just an oil change shop. A regular, old, run of the mill, place where they drain old oil and put in new.Before, you'd walk in the lobby and it would smell clean and lived in. Now it smells like dust and the cleaning agent residue eminating from the surplus uniform rack sitting the television used to show the news.The employees are pleasant enough and they drain oil and put oil in as good as the next guy (one hopes) but there is nothing special about this place. There is nothing that invites me to return and give any sort of customer loyalty. Just a lube shop, like any other generic, lowest common denominator, minimum effort kind of place. It's shadow of what this place used to be when it was at its best.No real complaints other than that. Just kind of ambivalent to this place's existence and I expect this will be the last time I come here and then I'll forget all about this utterly unremarkable place where they simply drain and refill oil.Maybe that's enough for you. I usually go to Odessa store but I work in midland the service I got TODAY was AMAZING I was never asked to check my cabin air filter and it was filthy!! Samantha was amazing even showed me how to reset my maintenance reminder on my car which has never been shown to me before !!! THANK YOU SAMANTHA

These guys are great! This ifms the place I usually get my oil changed. But last time I was due I was out of state. Once I returned I noticed an oil leak. I brought it up to them to see if maybe they could tell me where the leak was coming from.They pulled me in. Fixed the leaking drain plug gasket and topped off my fluids.They were friendly and helpful. And I truly appreciate the assistance they gave.I absolutely recommend this place for your next oil change.

Went in for an oil change & waited an hour just so they can tell me they didn t have the oil filter for a euro car. I ve been a loyal customer for years and I m never had this problem. Same car.The definitely need to stay on top of their inventory or at least advise the staff to be on the lookout for cars they don t have the filters for. To be waiting for a whole hour for nothing is just ridiculous! I will be taking my business elsewhere.

What an embarrassment from what it used to be. Noncommutative children can t explain how to get service. No greeter out front to prep for next job. Filthy office area. This used to be such a nice place, wow. Waited 15 minutes in empty bay before leaving. Has really gone downhill.

Every time I go to Valvoline the customer service is excellent and they always take care of the needs of my car in a professional way. I also like the products they use in my car when needed it.
