WOW! What a great local business. Troy himself answered the call when I rang about an issue I had. Super knowledgeable about my issue to the point where he knew and recommended that we take it up with a Ford dealership due to it being a recall. Being I need my vehicle back now I opted to have Troy's do the work. Service was incredible but the timing was out of this world compared to what we typically see in Midland from the big Ford dealerships who seem to only focus on Company Owned fleets. Couldn't me more proud to have a local business on my side. Great find! Shout out to Christian Brothers Automotive who referred me to Troy's. If you have transmission questions or work, start at Troy's. I intend to from now on!

Troy is incredible! He runs a grade A operation. When it comes experience, knowledge, character, and communication, there s no one better. My experience reminded me of our local mechanic in the small town I grew up in. Troy s name is on the building, and he operates like that.

Hello friend, I went to your workshop a few days ago because I need to repair a transmission of a 2009 Dodge Journey Sxt that is giving me problems with the changes, the same thing is that it shifts up and suddenly changes gears and it's crazy, I would like to know when Can you take the car and how much does the repair cost?

Troy helped me change the transmission fluid on my 1996 corvette. He is a super nice guy and did it for a great price. The staff is great. I think it s safe to say he owns the best automotive shop in midland.

We called Troy today bc we found ourselves stranded here and unable to return to Colorado. He was able to fit us in right away and look for the any issues we had. We appreciate him and his staff bc they cared enough to make sure we would be safe on the highway with our kids. They are definitely our go to transmission mechanic now. He also made recommendations for others things he saw while looking for our immediate problem. Thanks again for the Texas hospitality.Service: Transmission

Great Experience. First service on my 2018 RAM with an Aisin transmission and 50k miles. Spoke to Troy, he confirmed that he had the filter and gasket, and got me in the next day. Not only did they service it in a timely fashion, Troy gave me invaluable information about my transmission, which caused me to drive it differently and correct a problem I had. After he had a look at the transmission oil, and asked me about my driving habits, he said I could wait another 75k for the next service. Thanks Troy.Service: Transmission

Enjoyed doing business with Troy. Had a great conversation with him in the phone before taking my Expedition in and when I dropped it off. He took the time to explain maintenence, things to watch for, and advise on considerations for towing. Had the service done in half a day. Excellent shop

Troys Transmission is amazing!! My crew was driving from Arkansas to New Mexico for a two week tower run and we thought we were having transmission problems. I called several shops along his path on US 20 and when I spoke with Troy ,I knew I had the right shop... He not only helped us find out it was not a transmission issue and what the issue really was, he didn't even charge my husband! We travel all over the country working on towers for 12 years now and it is SO wonderful that there are still people like Troy that are good ,honest ,and don't take advantage of people that work on the road for a living!!! Amsoil! I love it I use it. They are an authorized dealer and that's what they use. Troy was great and amazing. He got my truck in right away. It roughly broke down to about $50 a quart plus the friction modifier or the transfer case and rear diff. A little high but well worth it. Will be back and recommend.

I was coming through Midland when my transmission started acting up. I called Troy to read codes for me. He was honest, upfront, and helpful. He ended up providing me information that my mechanical hands could try and got my transmission back running. I can t recommend them enough. Sign in the shop says it all, We fix your equipment right the first time . They have easily earned all of my business. Thanks

Just took my truck into Troys shop, today Dec. 19. The place is clean and the staff are very knowledgeable. The service was also very prompt. I really felt that they would service customers vehicles as if it were their own. Would recommend 10/10

Troy is always a pleasure to work with. Always up front and honest about everything. They only will make an appointment with you if they know they can do it in the next few days. They get it done quick, and right the first time. Will always take my vehicles to Troy.

We were visiting there from out of town and I pulled in with a service engine light on at 5:15p.m. and they closed at 5:30p.m.. The workers took care of me, checked out the truck and got me set and ready to return home today. They were seriously a blessing and I would definitely reccomend Troy to anyone wanting quality work and people who care.

This place is great. I got my truck over there talked to Troy and They had it fixed In 4 hours. My truck was at another shop for over a week with no results. Troy is dedicated to customer satisfaction.

I called multiple shops for info on rebuilding my transmission and til this day never received a call back. I messaged Troy's Transmission and the next day Laura replied and told me they were unable to rebuild at the time but she tried different options for me which was difficult for my type of truck. She always kept me updated and I think other shops should do the same if they want business. Thanks again Laura

Troy is the only person in West Texas I take my vehicles to when I have a transmission issue. He charges half of what the dealership would charge you and he doesn't BS you. Super honest and quick in most cases.

Troy's Transmission is the Best! They know Transmissions! I highly recommend this place, I live in Odessa but I drove to midland to let them do my work. Troy and his wife are awesome people and are ready to help! Yall have my business! Thank yall!!

What can I say. I was traveling through the area from pa. My trans lines were brittle and blew on me. Troy was booked out a week and a half. Pushed major jobs to the side so he could patch me up one day. And then when I overnighted the lines he got me in again the second day to get me rolling again. And I still have money in the bank. There are still good people in the world. And there's no one better in Midland or Odessa. Thanks again troy

Our Pathfinder seemed to be having a tough time shifting gears among other things. After noticing the oil level was starting to drop a little day after day, we took it to Troy not knowing how bad it could be. He took a few hours to look at it and found the issue which was an oil leak in between the engine and transmission. Knowing how costly it would be to drop the transmission and fix, he gave us an alternative that would work in the meantime that would be a whole lot less. His integrity is the reason we ll be back.
