My husband left his Chevy Avalanche at Midas on wall st. in Midland TX this past Tuesday for repairs and when we went to pick it up today, It was a total shock to see that his radio had been stolen from his dashboard and the dashboard itself was greatly damaged. I have taken photos and filed a police report. There was no sign of a break in from the exterior of the vehicle and it is clear that it was a staff member at the location that is most likely responsible since the store had possession of the vehicles keys this past week. When asked about video surveillance when speaking with the manager he replied that the line is cut and they had no footage. We are considering taking legal action and want to spread the word in our community about this unacceptable situation.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Sister in-law had her brakes replaced. They changed out a part that didn't need to be changed with one that doesn't fit that goes to the booster with a wrong one. It almost disabled her brakes and could have killed her or someone else, then offered to have a look at it for a price. These people are criminals

Great place to get brake pads replaced. Called them ahead of time and they told me that will replace the brake pads same day. Got both front and back brake pads replaced for less than $350 (after applying $100 off in website for brake pad change). Pleased with the work and the good rates. I will definitely come back for future car maintenance work.

I m very disappointed with the service I took my wife s car for a problem with a clunk noise on a tire they toll me they it needed new struts/ shocks also cv axles and sway bar links charge me 4200 dollars and the car came out worst the clunk noise is worst than it went in now they recommending to other parts of suspension and steering gear for 3300 dollars more also recommended the motor mounts needed to be replaced from a clunk noise on a tire issue now the whole suspension and steering gear system needs to be replaced and the clunk noise still doesn t go away , I use to hold midas on a high standard shop from this point on I would never go there again very disappointed with the service. It would be good if they would try to fix this matter now can t even drive the car

Paid $1200 for new brakes and rotors. 200 miles later we pull these off the rear and replace that rotor again. Mind you that one had no issues before. Original problem was front but done all 4.We also noticed the front was a higher quality brand and the rear was knock off junk. Replaced rear with quality parts and no trouble since.These people will rip you off to maximize profit.The ripped me off on a set of tires a while back too. There won t be a third.

I have used Midas in Midland while working here for the last 3 years. Justin and the guys have always done great diagnostic work and repairs at competitive and reasonable prices. I recently had u-joint issues, but since the joints were only a year old, Justin suggested having the shaft inspected. The drive shaft was found to be out of balance causing the joints to wear improperly and was re- balanced.Also, I had a slight shimmy at high speeds for several years, thinking it was a tire balancing issue, but the shimmy now is none existent. Thanks to Midas again for the fast and correct fix!

Walked in at 8:10AM got me in right away. I waited in waiting room for about 45 min. During my wait they discovered my cabin air filter was very dirty. I had meant to replace it myself for about 3 years, but, never did. So, I had that replaced. I am very happy with the work, the only improvement I'd suggest is to take a bit of time to add value, like wash front window or vacuum the drivers side floor. I would hope that service, that no one else does, would bring back new customers. Great job. Would recommend to others.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I had my shocks repaired and replaced. Was very happy with the service. They were very accommodating., professional and polite. They worked around my schedule and still got my vehicle completed when promised. I would have no problem recommending them to others. I know that should I need their services in the future, I will not hesitate to call them. Prices were reasonable in my opinion.Services: Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

You can make an appointment, but they took me as a walk-in. It is newly remodeled and has a nice little coffee bar and bottled water. Great location, knowledgeable, and professional employees. I recommend for your auto needs

Great service from Justin, Jamie, and Manny. I was helped immediately upon arrival and Jamie didn t waste any time checking out what I was asking for, even though they were clearly busy and I had expected I d have to wait. I initially asked for a tightening on my battery terminal since it was loose and causing me issues. He determined the terminal was no longer good and would need to be replaced, so he went and grabbed another mechanic to change it right there. I didn t catch his name (had really cool ear gauges), but it took him no time at all! I was in and out in literally 10 mins and received more than I had asked for. I am super impressed and highly recommend these guys! :)

I have came to this shop many times and they have always helped my husband and I. My most recent visit I took my car for an alignment and I left with my car feeling like it drove better than when it was brand new! Everyone is always very helpful, always keep us updated and better prices than other places that I have gone to. They replaced the master cylinder and booster on my 1st edition Tacoma with parts I had already purchased plus put new inside and outside door handles on both doors and did it all for under $700. I'll definitely call them first the next time I have any kind of break issues or in fact any issues they do it all.

Went in to get new tires and alignment, and a high idle issue on my truck resolved and they took care of me, Was a pleasant experience due to the fact the customer service was above what s the norm in Midland Tx . Justin listened to what I expressed and wanted and he delivered. I ll be using this shop for my future vehicle repairs. They are a busy business but seem to try and accommodate customers as best they can. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I wasn t the only one their looking for service but they did a great job at taking care of my needs. They were super busy and I can understand why with the type of service they offer. They did their best to accommodate for the volume of traffic which is really awesome. All of the staff seemed knowledgeable and they were able to address the issues that each customer was there to get taken care of. I will be coming back and possibly looking at making an appointment at a convenient time to avoid making anybody feel rushed to do their job. The staff was super friendly throughout the whole visit and they can expect to see me bring my other vehicles in the near future for work other than just some routine maintenance. Thank you for being awesome today, you guys were all busy and kept checking in periodically with everyone and that means a lot. You can t rush quality of service now a days. I had problems with my exhaust while on a road trip through Midland. I called and asked if I could come in and have them repair my problem and they said yes. They were very helpful prompt the place was hopping but they were doing everything they could to help all of the customers and especially me. My experience at the Midland Midas was a great experience. Every business should handle their customers like they did. Hats off to their manager I believe his name was Jamie he was excellent. These guys are awesome. I took my 20 year old pick up in for AC repair. They did the work quickly and correctly and at a fair price. I will and have recommended them to anyone needing work done on their vehicle. The BEST in Midland!!!

I took my tundra in to check my brakes. I come to find out it was my front brakes rotor, pads, front struts, spectrum shocks, they also did state inspection, my windshield washer pump was replaced, oil change, I turned it in at 8am and got it back by 3:30pm with only a 3 man crew...I am "SUPER" appreciative with these gentlemen!!! They ""Jaime & Justin"" who went above and beyond to make me smile with the excellent service!!! This place ROCKS!!!! I will definitely continue to come here with all my vehicle needs... They are honest. They checked my brakes and told me they were fine. Employees were very nice and helpful. I almost took away a point because of the wait. I made an appointment online. I thought that would bump me up in line a bit. I was still there close to 4 hours. So, either be prepared for a wait or arrange for someone to pick you up and bring you back when your car is ready. I kept the 5 star rating because I am not out $400 for brakes I don't need.

These guys are the absolute best! Sweetest gentlemen that will take the time to talk everything with you and with complete honesty. First time I went yesterday. Oil change cabin filter and air filter. There was a slight snafu...and the whole thing no charge. I didn't go in there for a "freebie" but excellent professional work and handled the problem right...they got a repeat customer. Their prices are reasonable.
