I called and got a quote from this transmission shop and I was very pleased with the service and the price. They fixed the problem which was not the transmission and saved me a lot of money. Therefore I will always bring my vehicles to this location. I have been referring them to my friends and family. Thank you very much.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. Do NOT, and I mean DO NOT take your vehicles to this place. They have had my car for 7 months and has not fixed anything. They have lied to us for several months about the progress of the work that they were doing. We popped up to the shop to see what was going on and noticed that my car was parked in the back by a fence with the tires flat and hasn t been touched. They tried to tell us that they had put a new battery in the car. My car did not need a battery because the battery was replaced January 2023. And we have the receipt. They quoted us $3,100 stating that the computer inside of the transmission had went out. We were okay with paying that. But after lying for almost a year on the work that they had not done we decided to have it towed to another mechanic. This place is a fraud and a scam.

I should have left this review several months ago. Better late than never.My issue started when I removed my 2003 Toyota transmission and torque converter and brought them in to Eagle Transmission for a repair estimate. The manger said he would disassemble the transmission and give me a free repair estimate, but I if decided not to go through with the repair he couldn't re-assemble the transmission. After a few days I was told I needed a new torque converter and new clutch pack kit, which would cost me about $1000. I was glad it wasn't worse news and I told him that price was excellent.A few days later the manager told me my transmission wasn't the right one for my vehicle and showed me the serial number on the disassembled valve body wasn't a match for my car's VIN number. He said my transmission would fail if he just replaced the torque converter and clutch pack.A few weeks prior to coming to Eagle Transmission I ordered a set of valve body solenoids from Ebay Motors due to P0770/P0775 check-engine codes that wouldn't clear. All of the solenoids fit my transmission perfectly, but the same codes kept coming back. I also ordered and replaced the clutch pack myself prior to the Eagle Transmission experience. I kept my original solenoids just in case I might need them. It turns out that my original solenoids didn't match the solenoids on the valve body that Eagle Transmission gave to me. Also, my original solenoids didn't fit into the valve body from Eagle Transmission. Later it dawned on me why the manager asked me if I replaced my original solenoids myself. Changing out my own solenoids before time would make me aware of the valve body switch that occurred at Eagle Transmission.After the valve body switch the manager told me I needed a complete transmission rebuild and it would cost me $3000. So, I took my completely disassembled transmission home in a plastic tub. Later, I realized my torque converter was never returned to me. I ended up installing a used transmission from Ebay motors on my own. The car's been running fine since then.

Had an issue with my f150 that left me stranded due to the transmission giving out on me. Got it towed there where they helped me find the issue and got it fixed within a few days. Highly recommend this place for any mechanic work!

After careful consideration, I've decided to share my experience with this car shop. While I had initially hoped to keep it private, I feel compelled to speak up until I receive the service I paid for. Unfortunately, I must express my dissatisfaction with this car shop. When entering a business, I expect to receive the services I paid for and to have open and informative communication, including regular updates. When I say open communication I mean them calling me and not me calling them. You would think after 37 years of experience that they love to boast about they would have this down but your kind of dropping the ball there, John Regrettably, none of these expectations have been met thus far. I understand that cars can be complex, so I am willing to give them an opportunity to change my perspective. However, if they do not fulfill their promises in a timely manner, I will be sure to share the next part of my review and the things that have been said to me when I expressed my frustrations to them and I will also continue with further action. I will write these reviews every single day of my existence if I have too The choice is theirs

I brought my car in with 156000 miles you returned it with 160000 mile while had3/4tank of gas why do I only have 1/4 tank of gas. Oh it gets better, the transmission was also leaking.You sure about that? After six weeks you returned my vehicle with a massive transmission fluid leak. A burning out fuel pump. And now after another week a oil leak. I got the records. Wanna see them. But then again deny working on the vehicle for every bad review until someone like me documents everything. Tell me you didn't work on my vehicle. Update after less than a month the transmission slips. Time for a lawyer because they are trying to take advantage of a elderly disabled woman. i have now found evidence that they wrecked my car. After the 3rd time the ac is now broken. They wanted to replace the rack and pinion steering for free. I knew they crashed it. I just replaced a bent strut myself. Ask I'll give you a picture. Now the lower control arm ball joints are going out. Got a picture of them too. Also the transmission is still slipping. They are scammers period. I'm going to take 2 weeks off after next week to protest them. These people are stealing from us. They need to be stopped!!!!!!

Horrible experencie i was told they were going to fix it for 800 dlr and when i took it they changed the price to 3 000 which i did not have so i told them i am sorry i cant and they said OK but is gonna cost you 600 to put the trasmisi�n back so you can take it which they never told me that in advanced and i can make my mind so i was forced to pa�d the total amount with the promised that they were going to rebuild it l�ke a brand New and gave me one year warrantie but after 13 month the trasmisi�n went bad and they refused to help even though they knew they Just did a Quick fix and never replaced all the components and parts like they said they were going to do. Now i found Out through a employee.that do the Jobs on the side that that is What they do on porpuse to make People pa�d and when they refused to treat People like that they get Fired so starting from the corrupt managers the mechanics use dirty t�ctics to ripp you off be aware

I have used Eagle Transmission twice. Both times I have been very happy with their work and their 3 year warranty on their work. They not only fixed my transmission but my A/C as well and tuned up my car.I have a 14 year old car with several problems, but Caleb, the mechanical technician on my car always kept me informed to the progress. He was respectful, answered all my questions and was one of the most honest mechanics I have ever come across.My car is back in good running order, which is very important to me as an elderly woman with a one car family. I felt very well taken care of. I would recommend Caleb at Eagle Transmission in Mesquite in a heartbeat. God bless you Caleb, you are a good man.

Caleb has been a Godsend along with the rest of team..after a inspection and repairs were done..I found myself in a worse problem..thankful for the service and arrangements made to make my life easier..As a widowed grandma raising a 16 yo..they been super helpful and understanding..Thank yall for all you've helped me with..I'll surely recommend Eagel Transmission in MesquiteGRACIE V

My name is Santiago, I recently took my car to this Eagle Transmission place to get service. First of all, the staff was courteous and friendly. We spoke with Caleb the person who explained to us in detail about the repairs and cost. We truly believe that it was a great and fair value for the repairs. DONT GO TO EAGLE TRANSMISSION !!!!Got my car towed in to find out what was wrong with my car they told me a piece inside my transmission was broken and needed to be repaired in order to get the car running they gave a quote but after I declined the offer/repair they were rude when I spoke with them and they threw the parts of my transmission in the back seat and trunk of my car .. I called AAA to pick my car up and once we got on the highway my car front driver wheel was shaking bad the people there disconnected my A line stole the bolts out of my tire the AAA driver had me call so he could ask what they did to the tire the shop was rude and just hung up in his face they gave me attitude as well the driver had to take a bolt from two other tires to put on the front tire .. fast forward to me going through another mechanic to fix my transmission while the man is trying to repair it I find out that there are parts and screws completely missing and this is not the first time he has heard of EAGLE TRANSMISSION doing something like this if you want to deal with rude service, no response to emails, getting hung up on, sky high prices and missing parts this is the place for you

****BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY****If it was possible to leave negative stars I would! I took my vehicle to these guys and did not question pricing or pressure them for a time to have vehicle returned. They offered price and date. I called on the date they gave me to pick up my vehicle and was delayed pick up to after closing time. No big deal, but on the way home from their shop it stopped. Unfortunately, later that night my car was rear ended by a drunk driver and totaled. From the time I informed them of what had occurred they started pointing fingers at me, and finding reasons why the car stopped outside of their work. I was not looking for them to cover the totaled charges, but what I paid to them. They wanted me to provide them with proof it stopped due to the work they did. My vehicle ran perfectly. Even the transmission failure did not occur until the day I had it towed to them. Trust them at your own risk!!!Service: Transmission

Took my diesel truck to a mechanic and advised it will need a new transmission around a $6k. I was advised to call Caleb at eagle transmission in Mesquite. I had to tow my truck, Caleb diagnosed it amf he advised that it will only need a TCM. Caleb was able to save me around $5k. Very honest and I will always go back to do business with them.

Took my trans apart to diagnose and told me a ridiculous price like over 6500.00 and never told me that they couldn't put it back together after they did so ...and they were horrible about communicating the manager was polite but a never called when they said they would not once I always called ....long story short I drove in and had to tow it out!I was contacted and they have appeared to make things right no charge and I'm picking it up as we speak so all and all they have actually righted a few wrongs .thanku for the efforts Service: Transmission

I had a big issue with John. After informing Caleb of the issue about John's misdiagnosis of my truck Caleb went above and beyond to make it right. So, if you want a good guy ask for Caleb. Busy, but I see why! Kind informative and didn't feel like I was overcharged or taken advantage of which is important to me with car service!UPDATE: When I picked up my car I was charged more than what I was quoted, without much explanation why. After having to bring my car back 2-3 additional times with still no working car and a refusal to give me an itemized receipt I see why the price "seemed great" in etc beginning. We ended up having to take the car elsewhere.
