My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at the Clay Cooley Hyundai in Mesquite! Our sales consultant was Gabrielle Garcia and if Google could give more than 5 stars we would! This was our first time buying a car, which as everyone knows can be very stressful. Gabrielle made this experience very pleasant, seamless, and an exciting time for us. He has wonderful communication skills, is very knowledgeable about the overall business, and truly has the customers wants and needs top of mind. I also must mention the GM and the GSM. Both of them were beyond helpful and very welcoming every time we visited this dealership! When you are ready to start your car buying experience, this is the place to go!

Erica Gray our salesperson from Clay Cooley Hyundai Mesquite was very pleasant and professional . She made my car shopping experience extremely easy and enjoyable. She worked with me patiently until we reached an agreement with the offer. Just what a great salesperson would do! Donald from the finance department was extremely warm and friendly and answered all our questions patiently . He was very easy to talk to! My previous experience in Clay Cooley Hyundai Terrell was horrible. The salesman and manager there initially did not even talk to me, (surprise surprise, because I'm a woman) only talked to my husband. Manager in Terrell was rude and very unprofessional. When I compared their offer to other dealership, told me "well why didn't you buy there?!", so we skipped outta there and brought our business elsewhere!! Glad we went to Clay Cooley Hyundai Mesquite the next day. Our experience was like night and day. Erica and Donald redeemed Clay Cooley's name with their professionalism and courteousness. Thank you!!!

My first experience at this location was one of the Best experiences. Angela, thank you for your over the top Customer Service A+++I can t say enough about how positive the atmosphere is in this location, from the moment you drive up, the service reps acknowledge you, are professional, very friendly above all knowledgeable. They actually care!! The staff is amazing! All teams are great but especially the service team. This dealership is very much out of my way but i come back each time because of the amazing service there. I got there right at closing time to pick up my car and they were very helpful and understanding. I always get clear communication and they set the expectations for how long its going to take.

Overall a great experience. This was our second time buying from this dealership. We had a great overall customer experience at this dealership. We had some issue with the financing where we almost didn t buy the car as they changed the committed numbers at the last moment but the general manager very kindly intervened and helped us get the car we wanted at the price close to what was promised to us. All is well that ends well, we were able to get the car we wanted for the second time from clay Cooley Hyundai mesquite. Must mention our salesperson Gabriel Garcia who was really nice, did not rush us into making a decision and was very helpful throughout the process.

My experience was fantastic. I purchased a vehicle sight unseen at this dealership. This can be a skeptical situation for some buyers, and you have to trust and rely on your salesperson to be honest and to have your best interest. My salesperson was Tyrell Schleede. He went above and beyond for me. I was expecting to setup shipping, but he drove three hours to personally deliver the car to me. It was about 9pm when he arrived, and it would be about 1am or so before he made it back home. This shows dedication and how much he cares for his customers. I believe your employees are a direct reflection of your leadership. Tyrell possesses the qualities I see in a leader. He would make a great General Manager, and it would be wise for Clay Cooley Hyundai to transition Tyrell into this position before another dealership steals him. Thanks again Tyrell for making my experience pleasant and rewarding. My wife loves the car and we couldn t be happier. Thanks again.

Christopher Abbott was our salesman. It was a pleasure dealing with him. He was fairly new, in fact he said ours was the first deal he did start to finish on his own. This required numerous trips to discuss with management. I don't view this as a negative, as I felt he was honest and trying to get us the best deal he could. In the end, I felt that I paid a fair price. I was happy for him to have done his first deal start to finish with us. The finance guy was great. The dealership itself was OK. They had advertised a $1500.00 dealer discount on their website in addition to a $1500.00 factory incentive for the exact model car I bought. They refused to honor the dealer discount on my car. I did get the factory incentive in the form of a preferred interest rate. Christopher got them to lower other line items to come close to the $1500.00. I would definately recommend Christopher.

Very poor sales experience. Beware that this dealership has no intention of honoring the Hyundai factory lease deal for the 2024 Ionic 5 SEL that is on their (and, as far as I can see, every other Hyundai dealer's) home page. They didn't have the car in stock and while they said they were having one brought over from another local lot, I never saw it after being there hours. There were the usual back and forth trips to the sales manager to "get to a number" (yes, I have good credit) and the advertised lease deal was treated as if it didn't exist. When I pointed out that their proposed numbers were more than twice the advertised deal, the sales person acted confused. She went to their web site to look at it as if she had never seen the ad (I had spoken with her about it by phone before coming in). She opened the fine print section and implied that taxes and other fees were affecting the lease payment. Typically such fees are collected up front but even if they were rolled into the lease payment, there's no way that would double it (spend about 1 minute going through the process of leasing a similarly priced Tesla Model Y without actually completing the transaction to see about what those fees would be). I don't know if this meets the legal standard of bait and switch under Texas and federal consumer protection laws but this is clearly unethical by any honest person's standard and seems to be just how things are done at this dealership. I also doubt that is how Hyundai wants its brand represented. I'll let them know and leave that to them to deal with as they will. For everyone else, there's a reason that 70% on Americans find the car buying experience distasteful and while many dealerships don't deserve to be stuck with the negative stereotypes of car sales, this one seems to.

Absolutely terrible service and company. Had engine die on vehicle at 60k miles. Went to get it serviced and this company left the car in pieces and did not include all the parts/battery when we towed it off. Now they are saying there's nothing they can do. Stay clear of Hyundai/Kia and Clay Cooley.

Angela in service provide the best customer service I have ever had at a dealership. She made sure that my car was serviced in a timely manner and kept me updated throughout the process. Angela along with the cashier in service made sure the end if my visit was quick and seamless. They are both assets to your dealership.!

This was the best experience I ve ever had at a car dealership. Clay Cooley dealership over exceeded my expectations. The GM Armando is the best, he took the time to personally introduce himself to me and my family and made me feel like I was an important person. I was able to also meet the service manager Tony. Tony went over how a visit would be and what I could expect when brining in my new vehicle for service. I have been to many dealerships over the years and all they care about is the sale. Hyundai in mesquite truly cared about my experience and the future of my car. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great group of people to help find their dream vehicle.

Bought a new car and the whole team made it as easy and seamless as possible. Was greeted by Jesus when entering and he took me right in to get me started with the process. The GM, Armando, was so personable and accommodating while we waited to get the exact model I wanted from a nearby dealership, and BJ in finance was a treat to work with. With so many options for dealerships, I can t imagine picking a better one with better people. Not to mention, the vehicle I selected is an absolute dream! If you need a Hyundai, I highly recommend you go here.

On Friday September 15 abt 10am, I received a call from Christina in regards to my online inquiry. Her and I schedule an appointment for 5pm that same day. She called me at 330-4pm to make sure I was still coming and when I arrived she was nowhere to be found. I didn't appreciate that at all. That left a bad taste in my mouth about Clay Cooley. Once they found out she had left, I walked round to look at the showroom floor. Then I see a short fellow smiling from ear to ear. My name is Tyrell...How may I help you he said. Tyrell greeted and welcomed me with open arms. I told he abt Christina and not once did he say anything bad about her. All he said was No worries I can help you. And he did just that. His customer service was PHENOMENAL. He was very honest from beginning to end. I'm very happy satisfied and blessed with my purchase because of Tyrell. Clay Cooley has a gem so please hold on to him. Came to get my car serviced at the mesquite location shortly after already having it receive maintenance a few days prior. I came into the appointment already irritable, however was greeted by accommodating staff which made the whole interaction extremely enjoyable. Though I was there for nearly three hours, the time spent flew by. I was constantly checked on by my designated service rep along with other staff members and that made me feel appreciated. Thank you!!

Took my vehicle to get serviced early in the morning and they completed the work the same day. Angela in the service department took excellent care of me. Since the work on my vehicle was going to take several hours I was given a ride home. When the work was completed Clay CooIey picked me up at home and gave me a ride back to the service center to pick up my vehicle. Excellent customer service.

For Finance please never ever go with the finance in the dealership. Because finance team has cheated us $6000 dollars more. Without informing us they added some contracts for $6000 and this happened without our signature. Such a good finance team is available in Clay Cooley Mesquite. When we did the follow up the finance person spoke rudely and later accepted to cancel the contract. We signed the cancellation contract but still our principal amount is not reduced in the Hyundai finance portal. We followed up with Hyundai finance team as well but not getting proper response. This is how the clay cooley mesquite works. (Google doesn t allowing to post the review without a single star)

Absolute worst first impression experience I have ever had with a dealership. Contacted the dealer through Autotrader. Was contacted by 3 different people at the dealership. I asked to be called by a salesperson at a set time and call never came. Reached out again by email and no response. Will be shopping elsewhere. Totally unprofessional.

I have found my car dealership! It is in no way convenient as I live in Plano but is worth the drive! My service go-to-guy, Chris is the best! He is honest, patient professional and kind. I just feel that he doesn t take advantage of his clients. He makes it easy to get scheduled and treats me like I matter. That cannot be said about the dealership closest to me.Morgan helped me get into a car when I needed it. She is awesome! She was also very helpful and patient.Kindness seems to be a consistent part of Clay Cooley Hyundai and these two individuals are proof of that. I always say that it is the service department that makes me a loyal customer of a dealership as that department is where I spend my time and have to be able to give my trust.

BEWARE CAR SALESMAN LIEDI purchased a Hyundai Palisade on October 31st at Clay Cooley Hyundai.Our sales guy Daniel was very dishonest and made a promise to us that we would receive all weather floor mats if we came in and purchased the car with him.After coming in on Halloween, their system went down for hours... (expect to be there all day)The story changed a little bit and Daniel shared that the all-weather floor mats were out of stock and that they would have to mail them to us with our plates.The dealership has a paper they call "I owe you" which is supposed to outline anything the dealer owes you that isn't delivered the day of purchase. When I asked why the floor mats were not on the paper, our sales guy told us that it wasn't necessary because they were "included with the car" and that he would personally make sure that they were sent via FedEx to us.Shame on me for trusting Daniel because he was lying.Over the next several weeks we followed up multiple times to see when we were going to receive the floor mats. Every time we followed up it was the same answer, that they were still out of stock but they would be mailed to us as soon as they came in.5 months now have passed and we still have not received the floor mats. Today I spoke with the GM, Armando. He was unwilling to make the situation right.Looking back, I wish I would not have bought the car at this dealership because it is clear that they do not care about taking care of their customers and hire shady sales people that live up to the stereotype of what everyone thinks a car sales person is.We will not be coming back to Clay Cooley ever again.
