I stopped in randomly because my car was scaring me. I'll be back to this guy. The man that ran the place was very helpful. Put my car on the lyft without hesitation. Gave me a nice quote for a much needed repair. I am very grateful!

Highly, highly recommend this shop! My husband and I work for Stevens Transport and came back 4 months later and our car wouldn t start. We were trying to head back to Houston before the freeze started. They recommended a tow man that wasn t taxing and they started on the car same day. They got the car to start no problem on same day, but as they were setting the car down, oil started leaking. We decided to leave it because we didn t want it affecting the motor. Because of the freeze we didn t get it back for two days but when they came in, 5 hours later we got the car back. Thank y all so much

The only reason it s getting a 2 it s because the guy in charge was nice. I brought my car here 3 times and spent over $900. All three time I brought it in for a check engine light and the rpm acting weird. All three times I was told It was fixed but I only drove the car for like 5 minutes before I found out none of the things I requested were done. The check engine light came back on and the rpm was still acting weird. In the end they didn t fix any of the issues and I decided to take my car elsewhere.

This business came in clutch when my family and I needed it the most. The employees were very kind and offered us cold waters while we waited. The waiting room was very comfortable also. I brought my car to Big Tex auto repair with only a wheel problem . They fix that problem then proceed to tell me that my axle was broken which is connected to my transmission by the way, and I didn't have any problem with my transmission before hand .so I went ahead and let them fix it. After only 5 hours of leaving the shop my transmission slips and stops in the middle of the road and the transmission light comes on. I bring it back the next day and he compared my transmission to a tire going flat. So as im talking about it with my father present he proceed to kick my father and called the police to tell him that we wouldn't leave and lied to the police that we touched him. Long story short he didn't repair it or accommodate me for it and now I'm stuck with a transmission problem that I never had before hand. They have bad customer service and won't own up to their mistakes .

I brought my vehicle to them and left it so they could work on it. During that time they left the window down and it rained. My whole seat got wet but that's not what upset me. When I picked it up they did not tell me any of that just said they couldn't find the problem, despite my vehicle throwing 4 codes. So when I got in the vehicle I saw burn marks on my seat. It looked like they had attempted to dry it with a heat gun and burned my seat!! I have burn marks and a hole in my previously original flawless fabric from 1996.

These guys are true professionals. It s hard to find a good and honest mechanic in the local area. They guys are fair and will look out for you. A different place told me I needed to replace the alternator but they looked at it and fixed the real issue. Sam was a wonderful and incredibly helpful individual. On a family road trip we had an emergency and he got us in immediately and started working on our car. Would recommend Sam and this establishment to anyone experiencing car issues!!NEW EDIT: I ended up accidentally leaving my wallet in the shop with all my ID s, credit cards, and cash. Sam sent a photo of it the very next day upon opening to let me know he had it and we were able to pick it up (without anything out of place of course!) Thank you so very much Sam you saved the day!! This place is honestly the best mechanic shop around me.. they saw me last minute on a Saturday and got my car up and running the next day!Totally awesome service and Mr. Hamad helped me with everything! They re great! When they know what s wrong they call and send you the estimate so you know what you re going to pay. They also show you the piece they replaced and tell you what was wrong with it. They re quick and super nice. It s really hard to find a reliable mechanic nowadays and these guys are honest and hard working! It sucks to say, but being a woman mechanics tend to price gouge due to lack of knowledge, but these guys listen to your concerns and don t overcharge.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Great, honest shop! I had a screw in my tire from a construction site, and I was worried about it keeping air for my 2 hr drive home. I drove over and showed them the picture of the very obvious screw, but the head had worn/broke off on the drive over. I left it with them and went to grab a cold drink next door. I came back to find them remounting the tire, with no hole to be repaired! Evidently the screw was just a shard that caught in treads but didn t penetrate. He very easily could have kept me there for another 20 mins putting on a random patch and charged me full price. Instead, he wouldn t even charge me for pulling off the tire and remounting it, then checking the air in all 4. I asked him to run $10 on my debit card so I could tip him and his guy as thanks, which he finally did after I insisted. I wish I lived closer so I could give this guy all of my tire business.

Our air conditioning broke in 97 degree Texas weather. Panicked, grumpy, and borderline heat stroked out our family called many auto services around us and they all sucked. Sam was our saving grace. He let us know to come and that he would be ready to fix our car immediately. They had some real nice couches and they spoke to us all, telling us about their lives, and overall made our experience more than bearable in unbearable heat.

Great experience every time. Haven t had any issues. Love that it s ducked off and not a lot of traffic like other places. I always have a lot of questions and they seem to have no problems answering them all. I m excited that I found a reliable option for mechanical work!

I was driving and all of a sudden my exhaust started making a loud noise. I thought I was in trouble because we all know what mechanics do to out of town people. I limped my car to the first garage I saw, Big Tex. I was at their mercy. They repaired my exhaust and did a quick inspection on my car and told me that I should probably get new pads done in the front otherwise on my trip back to Canada I will probably encounter another problem. I had both problems repaired fast and at a reasonable price comparable to what I would ve paid in Canada. They have a clean waiting room and a very clean bathroom. I was impressed. Thanks guys for not taking advantage of a traveler, and I highly recommend it them for the quality of work and for their honesty..Services: Exhaust, Brakes

Big Tex did an awesome job. They were able to figure out what was making noises on my car that other shops could not figure out the problem. They resolved the problem with my alternator and my car is not making loud noises again. The price was reasonable and the workers were honest and professional! They are the best Auto repair in Dallas.

Service was really good. Called early in the morning and was able to beat the rush, he looked at my car and changed the radiator all in one day. He heard me out and was very respectful. Pricing also seemed reasonable. Only suggestion is having water/coffee for people waiting long periods. That s bonus stuff though. 100% recommend and will come again.

Previously gave 5 star for replacing my flat tire but sadly after I left the shop, my car was making a weird noise. I had my husband meet me so he could drive my car home and figure out the issue. I was supposed to go to Oklahoma that night. Sadly I couldn t because the issue with my car. Thankfully, the next morning my husband noticed I was given THE WRONG SIZE TIRE! I missed out on a concert I spent $200 for a ticket. And I still have the old tire. I haven t been back in down to try and get a refund. Very sad how things turned out.
