My Range Rover sometimes has the worst attitude. I inherited it, And sometimes it would get angry and the alarm would go off, For no reason. It even beeped at birds when they flew past the censor. The guys at affordable car care and Mr. Perry, even show me how to keep things in order on my own. There were not many people in the area that knew how to fix on my truck and I appreciate everything.

Do not let the reviews of this place be the deciding factor in your decision to try this place. Brought my truck in it had 3 different leaks I was expecting a huge cost and was pleasantly surprised at the low cost under 1400 to repair 3 separate leaks the customer service and attention to detail was impeccable I would highly recommend this place and if I could give it 100 stars I would

I own a Mercedes and have searched around Dallas for a good mechanic! When I found Perry Dunn, my search was over. This place has the best and most amazing service ever and is very affordable! Perry is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He knows and treats his customers with the utmost respect and never tries to beat you out of your money. I m done looking for any other mechanic, this place is the BEST! We only have one car at the moment and when ours had an issue we took it to the Chevy dealer and they couldn't look at it for 10 days. We took it to affordable kar kare and they had it fixed and back to us the same day. It is working great! Thank you for the care that you provide to your customers. They vacuumed it out on the inside too nice touch. Thank you again.

There is an existence of a sabotage here beware going there! I brought my vehicle here for service, spending $1909.00 I drove vehicle to work for a test drive and my vehicle never started again, No crank no lights whatsoever! There was nothing like this with my vehicle before bringing it here. It never happened at all, but look how I heavily regret bringing my car here. Perry was the mechanic working on my vehicle. I am sorry for the decision I made taking my vehicle to him. If I take my vehicle back to him, I would be doing that for the rest of my driving. Transmision fluids was still dirty when I checked it. There was grinding metal under hood, the RPM doesn't move when accelerating included speedometer. Vehicle sounds differently with humming sounds even when not accelerated. 3 days in the hospital parking lot.

Long story short, my daughter had her car towed here for steering issues on a VW Passat. The car was running and would start. They said 3 grand to do the repair with a no good warranty that would be for 60 or 90 days cause of a used part that they ordered. Went to pick up the car to move to another shop and the car wouldn't even crank nor could we roll up the window nor would they help us to resolve the issue. I began to speak with a mechanic that was there and told him that this was bad business and he got upset with me. He started to cuss saying why did we bring it here LOL so we taped up our window as there was bad weather coming in. So for this review I asked the mechanic for his name "Austyn" and he proceeded to cuss me out and tell me I need to get off the property... The Manger Perry Dunn wasn't of much help. I asked for the quote of the break down of parts and was given the most simple quote that I've ever seen. It had no total of hours to fix said problem and was useless. The absolute worst place ever . I drove my car up there to be diagnosed and went to pick it up and it was not drivable. I had to get a tow truck and tow it to the dealership. They had messed up my starter wires and it cost me $450 to fix it and they claimed they never messed with the wires but i drove it up there so they definitely did something.

My daughter took our chevy blazer to this guy because it was not starting, we know it is the starter and we wanted to replace it, the next day we called the guy and he said it will cost $540 to replace the starter, the charges did not make any sense, we called 5 different mechanics and the estimate came to be between $ 225 and $ 275 including everything. So we realized this guy is scamer who take advantage of women and older people. We told him thank you and we will pay the diagnosis fee and we will take it to another mechanic. Affordable kar kare charged us $112 for diagnosis. And we took the car to Firestone. The Firestone mechanics informed us that affordable Kar kare removed the starter and the car came with no starter. $275 at Firestone v $540 with this guy .

I should have read the other customer reviews regarding this mechanic. I intend to file a complaint with the BBB and with the State Attorney General. I was told my car needed an emissions box and a hose, the cost $690.31, I was also told nothing was wrong with my battery. When we went to pick the car up, it was dead. Battery was dead. A cigarette smoking mechanic came out and jumped the battery. That didn't sit well with me. Then I called this morning to get a detailed bill (they just give you a vague bill) asking for the parts to be broken down from the labor and I was told they didn't do that, they were not allowed to do it. I hung up the phone and called my husband and asked him if they had told him on the phone what the parts and labor would be verbally and he said no. I feel like we have been ripped off, apparently many have so I am taking my complaint to the State and will also be discouraging people to stay away from this place. A reputable business will provide you with a detailed billing, unless they have something to hide, I believe he does have something to hide so I will let the State determine what it is. I do not mind paying for services rendered but the person I am paying for services rendered should provide a detailed bill of services. I would not recommend this mechanic or shop to anyone for any reason. Stay away from Affordable Kar Kare unless you have money to just give away and if that is the case, find a nice charity to donate to, do not contribute to dishonest mechanics.

don't waste your money on these people. I took my car to get the brakes checked before my child got out of school. they lied about my brakes leaking fluid AND REFUSED TO GIVE MY CAR BACK. they wouldn't let me go get my child from school so they had some strange old man drive me to get her. very weird situation. turns out my car was leaking fluid. tried to make me pay a grand to fix the non existing issue. shame on this place for taking advantage of women. and shame on the owner perry for letting this happen. please everyone YOU CAN FIND A MORE RELIABLE PLACE TO GET YOUR FIXED. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!!!

Do not i mean do not buy a car from here. We bought my son a car from here and it last 2 1/2 weeks. $3000 gone. We have yet to get a title and to top it off he wants me to buy another car for $7900. Bring back the car we have no title for. We have went back and forth with the owner for 2 months and only got the run around. I have been clam and not cuss him out. We told him my son had to drive it to Houston and yet he insure us that all was ok. I get deal and I m so upset. My husband and I was trying to do something nice for our son who made it to college. And we got nothing!!

I brought my vehicle in to get an electric raise/lower window repaired. It had fallen down into the window well of the truck. Affordable Kar Kare repaired my vehicle's window in very quick time and in good working order. I highly recommend Affordable Kar Kare for your vehicle repair and maintenance needs!

I have seen the reviews but my experience with this shop was great , maybe they had different mechanics then but I brought my Trans Am to them for a problem that 2 other shops in mesquite could not diagnose or fix ! Friend referred me and we'll all I can say is this is the only shop who could diagnose and fix my car . They are very honest and up front on what your car needs and doesn't need and they checked everything even let me know that certain belts would need to be changed soon and showed me so I will never take my car anywhere else . I just found out they do MOTORCYCLE repair now so that's where I will be taking my bike also ! Mechanic there was very knowledge able so I can't say enough about this shop except THANK YOU ! You have my business .

I have to get the check engine light off for inspection and brought my car here now going on the 4th time and they haven t taken my check engine light off. First time was like $190 second time was like $1090 third time was $60 and now with the light still on I have to take it back a 4th time.

Great place to take your car. They have years of experience. Took my 2004 F150 up there and they had it running like a champ in no time. They informed me of why I needed the repairs and the most affordable way to go. Love these guys!!! They really live up to the name AFFORDABLE

A brake warning displayed on the dash of my Mercedes on Saturday afternoon. I got to Affordable Kar Kare just before they were supposed to close. One of my brake pads had broken and was literally crumbling apart!!! I could not drive it without tearing up the rotors or wait until after Labor Day. They stayed open late for me, replaced the brake pads and turned the rotors. Even though their guys were ready to start the Labor Day holiday.. they stayed late to help me and I paid less than I expected. I cannot ask for better customer service than that.. thank you :)

This is a great place to take your vehicle for service and repairs. I always feel that I'm getting a great deal and reasonable price and have never been talked down too and all services are explained to where I understand them.Thank you Perry and keep up the great work!Terri T.

I bring my car to this place at 8am and I had to wait till 2pm just for alignment job and now after 2 months my front tires are wearing badly. Expensive and really bad service!! I don t recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good work.

I took my 94 mustang to them and they quoted me 1600 for head work, after they finished the total price for just the head work was well over 2500. And they didnt tighten up alot of bolts including my starter bolts. Now a exhaust leak they are trying to charge 1200 more for them making mistakes on reassembling my car after the rebuild. Daylight robbers are what they are, if you want performance dont get ripped off by perry dunn and russell dunn at the affordable karkare in mesquite tx.

I took my car there and i had to replace the parts within 2 month ,they use cheap parts.I had them put brakes and my rims turn black ,also they put shocks they base broke after one month i was told that they put the cheapest parts on my car. it Affordable to them ,I don't recommend this site.

On the phone he said it would be 360$ then 4 hours later it turned into 1400$ and me and my wife didnt have an option to go elsewhere it was either pay 1400 or he would put a mechanic lean on the car. We never had the chance to say no we cant afford that.

From the time the gentleman that answered the phone to the time I left with my vehicle completly fixed, my entire experience with Affordable was incredible. They answered ALL of my questions and gave me all my options. I am so incredibly impressed with the service and the work that I get there.They even dropped me off at work. That's service!!

Russell is the man. I spent a lot of money. But he told me every problem, even describing the sound so I knew what was fixed and his only concern was my safety. Even when he knew I didnt get paid till friday he fixed it and said pay it friday. His concern was my safety. Thats not just a good mechanic but an awesome human.

I brought my vehicle to be repaired and it was a nightmare. The owner Perry constantly broke his promises and avoided phone calls. I would highly recommend avoiding this shop at all costs.

This is a shop you do not want to go to. Brought it in for a repair and in the process of repairing it they broke something else. Perry wanted me to pay to fix the problem but the mechanic broke it. Wanted me to pay half to.fix the mechanic problem. Their rude as hell. He told me not to come back to his shop ever. Would not refer anyone to this shop
