                      Kudos to Mario for being so helpful. Went in to buy a new battery and even offered to install the new battery. He was very nice and sweet.                       9-10-2023Miguel at this autozone was patient with me and helped me understand everything I needed to know.                       I was there today and my suv messed up in the parking lot. John was very helpful and tried in every way possible to help me get my car going.  He even went as far as bringing his personal vehicle to Jumpstart my suv. He showed great concern for me and my family.  He cleaned my battery terminal post.                       I went in to buy a new tail light for my car, but mentioned that I had no idea how to install it. Victor, the store manager, was kind enough to come out to the parking lot and replace it for me.                       Had a bad experience this weekend.  I went to buy a battery on my commercial account. The parts guy Rolando didn't want to sell me the battery under my account because he didn't know who I was. Since the commercial department is not open on Saturday. He said my account was not on their system. I told him I'm here every day buying parts on my account. He told me that he is not crazy and he doesn't know me. I said maybe I should go to O'Reilly and he told me  to go in a bad tone of voice. I said wow what a way to treat a customer that buys every day.                       AUTOZONE MERCEDES, TEXAS AND WESLACO TEXAS LOCATIONS HAVE PROFESSIONAL STAFF THAT KNOWS THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY.THEY ALSO HAVE THE INVENTORY YOU NEED ON HAND WHEN YOU NEED IT.AND THE FREE DIAGNOSTIC TESTING  UNIT YOU CAN PUT ON YOUR VEHICLE TO DIAGNOSE EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED.IT'S LIKE HAVING YOUR OWN PERSONAL MECHANICS SHOP AND WAREHOUSE FILLED WITH ALL YOUR AUTOMOTIVE NEEDS.DON'T FORGET TO GET YOUR LOCKING GAS CAPS.                       One thing I am not crazy about is a store manager sending me to a sister store to pick up a part .. me being the nice guy, went to the Mercedes Texas  store where i was treated great...                       If u compare autozone to O'Reilly tjeu rock in comparison. Their awesome rewards system..gain points that turn into dollars in your pocket. You in turn can use those dollars towards your next purchase..i recommend the Mercedes and la feria locations.                       So I was at the #mercedesautozone. The lady their would rather joke around with her 2 buddies there rather than tend  2-4 customers waiting for her to finish her conversation. Mind you she would just stair at the customers waiting then continue her chisme. So in a loud voice  I said, " the hell with this I'm going #ORileys". She staired at me and while I was walking out she was like "sir" "sir". I replied, no its ok finish your conversation".  I was in and out at Oriley's in less then 5 minutes.                       The warranty are all lies you go back and it doesn t come up in the system there computer system is from 1990 they have to go through each item you have warranty on and most of the time they mysteriously disappear save yourself the headache go to o Reilly s it saddens me iam no longer an autozone guy
