I recently took my 89 Mustang to True Street Motorsports for rear end work and I couldn't be more impressed! The team did an exceptional job squaring up my rear end and setting the pinion angle. The communication was great throughout the entire process, and they kept me informed every step of the way. The end result is a car that handles and performs better than ever before. I highly recommend True Street Motorsports to anyone looking for high-quality work and exceptional customer service. Thanks again for the outstanding work, guys!

Dropped my '19 twin turbo Mustang GT off Monday morning for a tune. They quickly found out why the remote tune that was done on it was not taking. Found issue with the injectors and the dual pump fuel system I had bought. Clint has been very helpful and very straight forward with what is happening each day. Communication is top notch!!! I am confident that I am going to be very happy with the outcome.

Best experience I've had with a performance shop. I have a Whipple Mustang. I've had several performance shops work on my car and by far True Street did the best work and had the best customer service/experience out of all of them. Their Dyno tune so far runs smooth. I am confident that if my car runs into issues there will be no issue with me bringing it back to them for touch ups and fixes. They have permanently earned me and my family's business. I highly recommend them for mustangs. It is their specialty. This place was all it was hyped up to be! The customer service was amazing. Very transparent with everything they did. Updates often and great pricing. Yes I m a woman I price checked but besides the great pricing, everything was done in house not subbed out to other places like other shops in the area I called.Everyone who worked there was extremely nice and didn t try to push other stuff that didn t need to be done. This is an amazing shop to trust your vehicle to be worked on.

True street has been my #1 choice for performance upgrades, repairs, tuning, and maintenance now since 2018 I think or since I bought my supercharged raptor. Before that I was going there to buy nitrous for my track car. Always honest fair pricing, excellent work, I mainly talk to Clint but everyone there is down to earth and willing to answer questions.Just had my truck repaired there, was one of those needle in a hay stack issues but they diagnosed the problem and my truck is running better than before I really appreciate these guys and I'm glad I don't have to depend on dealership ford technicians who don't understand a modified vehicle to keep my truck running great. These guys will always treat you right and get you back on the road. As with any business communication is key and you have to know your own vehicle to some degree so you don't have unrealistic or unreasonable expectations. People are too quick to anger or blame for preexisting things, it shows they don't pay attention, or when it's going to cost $$ to get what you want but everything costs $$ and if you want to play you gotta pay according to what you want done. Sent my car to them from Indiana to fix a limp mode issue. They replaced a throttle pedal sensor and said the car was all fixed. $750. Car came back to me in Indiana and was all excited to drive it. Drove 3 miles down the road and it went into limp mode. Called them and they claim they drove the car for 250 miles and had no issues. After that they ghosted me. Very disappointed and working with other shops now to try and solve the issue. So far it's pointing toward the tcm tune on the transmission that they put in and supposedly tuned. I'm just baffled that a throttle pedal sensor was their solution. I question whether or not they even actually data logged the car.Update: finally making progress on the car with a different shop that is clearly far more knowledgeable. The cause of my issue boils down to the tune. They tune true street put on this car is no good. My new shop said they are flat out lying if they said they drove this car for 250 miles with no issues and they obviously have no idea what they are doing with a Mopar. On top of the my fuel pressure gauge isn't hooked up properly and since true street ghosted me and never provided me documentation on the car as promised. Now I have to ditch my perfectly functional injectors for a new set ($1050) in order for the new shop to tune the car properly.Anyone with a Mopar stay away from these clowns.Service: Transmission

Couldn't be happier with the experience and work of True Street! Brought by Camaro in for some work and a tune on the dyne and they dialed it in perfectly. Exhaust work was excellent and sounds amazing! Gave them a list of work I needed done and a budget and they were able to get it all done in a quicker timeframe than I had expected and even came in a bit under budget.These guys are very knowledgable and they patiently answered all of my questions, gave me great honest feedback and recommendations, and always left me feeling very informed about what was happening with the car.They work with a lot of higher end jobs than what I was having done but not once did I ever get the feeling that me or my car was less valued or taken care of. Overall very knowledgable and nice guys, fair prices with no surprises, and a great experience. Will make this my goto shop going forward for sure!

I was having issues with the transmission controller on my '53 Chevrolet 3100 and had been to four other shops that either couldn't fix it or refused to take it on. I called Clint and he took time to listen to my issue. I dropped it off with Clint who was able to diagnose and fix the problem without issue. True Street will be my go to for any tuning needs. I highly recommend Clint and his team.

It doesn't make 1000hp!I bought a 1000hp clutch!Just kidding.The shop did amazing scheduling a tow to the shop for my cobra that ate its slave cylinder. They replaced the clutch,slave cylinder,lines and pilot for me in short time. I am back on the road with my girl running great! This is a recommended shop in my book!

These guys are amazing. They take great pride in their job and it shows. They installed a Procharger in my F150 with headers, exhaust, and tuned it to perfection. I am more than happy with the job they did.While my truck was in there they installed my lowering kit and new wheels that I had already purchased.Do yourself a favor and give them the opportunity to turn your vehicle into a beast. So much that they can do for you.Everyone from the owner to the sales guy to the mechanics and the tuning professional were hands on and treated me like their best friend all the way through.Proud to call them my shop and friends. I will continue to use them in any job I have in the future and I will continue to tell friends and anyone needing a speed shop to see these guys

Got my car in for a tune and looked over my car. Very professional and broke down what they did to my car so I could understand it. Very patient with someone that didn t know much about cars! 100% recommend true street to others. Shoutout to Hayden for all the help!

I wanted to get cams, a tune and intake put in my 3v mustang. I was originally quoted 3300 which turned into 4000 which isn t a problem however 4 grand is a lot of money. 3 days after I picked it up a bolt came loose in the throttle body causing it To run very lean( not good for a motors life) this has made me question the quality of work done mechanically. The tune is fantastic but I was quite disappointed when the owner said he would fix it at my expense as if I havent paid enough They also left oil prints all over my WHITE car. Overall very upset with the piece of Mind and the response to my concern.Service: Auto engine tuning

Brought my Mustang in for some upgrades and tuning. I made an appointment for service because this is my only car. They do take a couple of weeks to get me in but when I dropped my car off on Monday morning they were all done by Wednesday afternoon. Hayden in the front office explained everything well and car feels much stronger. They know there stuff.Service: Auto engine tuning

Honest people who do an amazing job. Extremely knowledgeable and figured out my intercooler pump on my GT500 was bad in less than one minute. Answered any questions I had or found the answer I was looking for. Go to place I m taking my GT500 from now on. Update, forgot to mention that Hayden is the GOAT.

Took my 2020 Raptor in for dyno pull and they did two pulls in 7th gear with no fans. Obviously the truck was heat soaked so we let it cool down. They then put a small fan in front of it to cool down. I asked them to run the next pull in 5th gear and they asked why. I told them my tuner said to. He said "fine if that's what you want but it is not a true number". I'd only use this place if you have a late model mustang. I'm not sure they understand any other vehicle. I'm lucky they didn't blow my motor with the IETs getting too high. Also the interaction with the guy doing the pulls was extremely curt. Not very client friendly. The front office kid was nice.

Took my car there with a check engine light issue, they did a bunch of unwarranted work I never asked for, extremely overcharged for the work completed, and did not resolve the initial problem I brought the car in for. When asked if they would honor fixing what I initially brought the vehicle to them for, I was told they would happily fix it, but had to charge me for it.. again? I as a customer feel completely taken advantage of, and will never use this business again. I had high hopes for True Street.. go somewhere else if you're looking for honest work.Edit: Clint called me personally after leaving this review - still feel like communication could have been better with work performed, and their understanding of the issue in the beginning. They still completed work I didn't ask for and definitely charged me for it. $877 for spark plugs I didn't ask for nor approve (regardless of their condition, no one called to inform/update me) - hose re-routing for a catch can/PCV and an air filter replacement I didn't ask for nor approve (again no one called).. car still has a CEL and a high idle < reason I brought it in. I just had the worst phone conversation about my car the first person didn't say anything and then suddenly I was transfered to a dude that doesn't like doing work so he'll highly suggest against upgrading from stock parts to performance parts. It's a shame, was looking to get cooling overhaul and a tune for temps control trans & engine but they'll be missing out on my business. "Highly suggest" against this place.Reply, was not saying a word about hp gains. I was talking about a v6 challenger. I asked for an aftermarket cooling system for my radiator, fans and a cooler separate for my trans and power steering. You should listen to your customers a second before jumped down my throat talking about OEM WORKS FINE when it doesn't and I wanted something better for the slight price difference. One of the people claimed was working on a 19 model at the moment complaining. It's sad. Nobody said the words horsepower or HP. I didn't even get to the tune talk I was so dumbfounded.

Clint is awesome they got my car in and out making over 100hp more on my mustang. The customer service is top class he gave me updates daily. This shop is top notch. Thank you Clint.Not sure how these other people are leaving bad reviews if you have dealt with modified cars you will know that a good shop is hard to find it took me 6 months to find Clint and his team.

First time and will be back....Cant say enough great things about Clint, Mike, Sean, the entire team. Brought my modified corvette in on the grounds of it having a terrible vibration when letting off the clutch. The car gets ran very hard and has a high performance clutch already in it, that I figured had run its course. Talked to the team and fully planned on spending a decent chunk of cash to have the clutch replaced, along with a lot of unnecessary work done.Within 2 days they had the car on the lift and realized the cause of my vibration was some missing/broken bolts along the drive-train. Cost suddenly became a quarter of what it would've been to fully replace everything, along with my added goodies.That is what will bring me back. They could've gone ahead with the planned build and replaced the clutch, etc. I would've picked up my car a week or two later and been 100% satisfied. None the wiser that I spent 4 times what was needed. Instead, Clint called to tell me the good news, thus saving me thousands. In a world where everyone is out to make a quick buck its nice to have a performance shop that understands. That's a stand up team they have over there and anyone that has owned a high performance vehicle for long enough, understands the value in having a team you can trust in all aspects of the word.

These guys are fantastic. Brought in my Charger for an installation of a custom LED steering wheel since the wiring aspect was a bit intimidating to me and they knocked it out of the park despite the actual product itself not coming with instructions or wiring diagram and the vendor giving incorrect information on installation.Would go back there any time in a heartbeat, great people and great work!Service: Electrical

TSM worked on my 17 hellcat. What can I say other than I am very impressed with the workmanship, knowledge, and the performance from the car is outstanding. There were a few hiccups due to mine being a 17, but these guys got it done. Clint is awesome and very free in giving out his knowledge, plus he has a great attitude and is personable. Jeremy is a great guy and also very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I can't wait to see what it will do once I put a 1000 miles on it and we put a more aggressive tune on it. I highly recommend this shop to anyone that wants to upgrade their domestic ride. I have a couple of more than will be going to them for some upgrades.Almost 3 years later and I can't say enough about Clint and crew. Excellent service for a highly modified hellcat. I will be having them build a twin turbo coyote fox body for me shortly.

I have used them for all my tuning needs for a few years now. Knowledgeable staff, very friendly and courteous. Sean is able to get the most out of my vehicle while keeping me well within save operating ranges.I have had no mechanical work done here, but seen many of the vehicles that have come from their shop and they all look and function as a nice clean, proper and professional install should. They are a 50 minute drive from my house, but in my opinion, well worth it and I highly recommend using them for any and all of your performance needs.

My 13 raptor developed a check engine code, after trying to diagnose and fix the problem myself without success, I decided to head over to true street. As always Clint took the time to explain the possible causes and scheduled me right away. Clint is very upfront and transparent about things, he doesn't mind telling you what the issue is so you have an idea of what's happening with your vehicle. For those of you who are a bit far from McKinney, the drive is worth it, im an hour away myself but I won't take it anywhere else.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

Ok so I have a 2015 Sierra that I got cammed there. I wanted a stg 3 cam and they pushed the stage 2 cam which is fine I took their advice on cam. Well 1st time truck got tuned it was fine than I went back due to a check engine light they retuned the truck and after that truck kept shutting off on me I went back again to get retuned and got charged for the retune, after that last retune truck still shuts off its significantly slower than 1st tune and it idles like I have my foot on the brake and gas at the same time when I have it in drive and I'm stopped at the light if I set it in park it sounds normal. I dont think I should've paid to get their tune looked at, that's my fault for paying but as a company I'd think they'd want it running right. I paid alot of money and have my receipts to prove that I didnt go cheap but it feels as if I did and got robbed. This just my experience and my review as a customer. I'm currently looking for a runner that can set my truck right. Since I cant reply to owner my transmission has never been rebuilt ever.... I had front left quarter panel damage and rear passenger damage. I highly doubt my accidents had anything to do with the poor tune. I bought a 3600 stall as recommended by you I had to get it installed separately because of the outrageous prices at that shop. Needless to say I didnt spend my money wisely I could've gone somewhere else where I wouldnt feel robbed.

Dropped my car off for what I believed was an issue with a bad slave cylinder. It turned out to be a bigger problem with some product defects I had off new parts that were put in not long ago... Who would of guessed it was the new parts that were the cause, these guys really helped out and went about handling this In a professional way and went really in depth as to figure out what the problem was and get all the necessary measurements needed to fix it right and spoke with part manufacturers and really went out of their way to make sure all the work was done right instead of just throwing it all together everyone there was always very helpful and a pleasure to talk to and from the cars I saw in the shop they work on a large verity of vehicles and take pride in their work I will definitely be going back for any further work that needs to be done.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning

I own a shop and we take all of our cars (GM LS and Coyote Ford V8s) to be tuned to True Street. They have done dozens of custom tunes for us and our customers and have never let us down. They listen to our (often times) nutty requests and handle them professionally and thoroughly. I won't have cars tuned anywhere else!

AVOID THIS COMPANY FOR powerful vehicle upgrades like Mopar or Mustangs. Their reviews across Dallas by people in the know is really bad. They recently removed their Facebook review section because of bad reviews. Here is my story: Took my Charger Hellcat to them back in Nov 2017. Paid 8.5k for a 850 rwhp package. And then 1k in further 'work'. After sales support is non-existent unless you open your wallet back up. Had problems with my tune since. They pushed me down the Diablo tune route and didnt tune my TCM. Their tuning is bad on Mopar. I knew I had problems but they didnt care when I asked for help. I offered to take logs but they palmed me off. I have the last email that didnt receive a reply from two months ago. They lost my original parts after upgrading me inc thermostat, injectors, pulleys etc. Maybe 1k worth of stuff lost. They also fitted the wrong spark plugs originally and basically ripped me off. I paid 200 bux for that privilege. And I asked them to add my Bwoody CAI and tension pulley. They lost my filter sleeve and they scratched my tensioner/catch can. The Mustang crew in Dallas have a hashtag called #becausetruestreet. Says it all

This week the guys at True Street did some work on my car as well as update the tune. I couldn t be happier with the experience, and my Mustang has never run better.
