Took my Mother- in laws truck in due the battery light coming on and Firestone was going to charge her Thousands of dollars to replace the alternator.,Joe stated to leave it with him and he d look at it. He had it for a few days and the light finally came back on but the alternator was good so Joe worked on the wiring for week and found it was in the wiring harness and gave us a couple of options that we could go . We had him replace the wiring harness and it didn t even cost half of what Firestone wanted. My mother-in-law now wants to take her car Solutions Automotive from now on. I ve trusted Joe for 6-7 years with my car and trucks , he s straightforward and gives you options and just doesn t look at you as another customer!! Joe treats you as Family and gives you a great price and service . I tell everyone when they ask about a great place to take your vehicle.

I highly recommend solutions automotive. I was able to take my car for brake repair in and have it back same day. He also performed a full car inspection and called me to confirm repairs and any other issues he saw during his inspection. Fantastic customer service, fantastic work and fair price! I will be back next time I have any car problems!!

Have been pleased with their work for years but this last repair job had extraordinary meaning for me. I typically use extra security devices to protect my vehicle (steering wheel lock etc) I dropped the vehicle off with those security items in place and when I picked up the vehicle I was pleasantly surprised to see that every detail as I had left it was placed exactly they way they found it. Not a word was spoken to ask of this detailed customer service but I just want to publicly note that I was impressed and pleased by this level of detail within their customer service. Thank you so much and I very much appreciate your work.

I have been using Solutions Automotive for over 10 yrs. I have gotten all of my vehicles, past and present, serviced at the McKinney shop. Joe and his team do an amazing job and they go out of their way to work with me and my schedule!I started using them 13 yrs ago. My son was a cancer patient and I needed my vehicle to take him back and forth to radiation every morning. The work that I needed done on my vehicle, during that time, was very extensive. I was told I needed to leave my vehicle at the shop and that it would take more than a day. Joe and his team went above and beyond to help me out with that situation, making sure i had a vehicle and making sure i was able to get my son to his appt. Since then, I have been using Automotive Solutions (alot) and wouldn't trust my car to any one else. I know that they will ALWAYS work with me to do what's best for my car and me. They are friendly, kind and accommodating. I very highly recommend them. Oh my word..... Joe, you hired a good one! I had a rather urgent truck repair, and Chris was so kind, polite, and efficient. He went above and beyond to ensure my truck was road ready when I needed it, and I am very grateful! We've used Solutions Automotive for many years because they take excellent care of both their clients and their vehicles. They painted my car a couple years ago. It's been peeling ever since. Biggest crooks ever. They keep getting new google accounts so people dont see these reviews. Terrible dishonest crooks.

There are 3-4 car shops together so it s a bit difficult to find this one. Other car repair shops are for body and dent. I went there on a weekend but to my luck they were booked for next 3-4 days. As I needed my car to get fixed urgently so the person at the counter was kind enough to suggest some other shop .

Top-notch! Highly recommended. They've helped me with a few minor things in the past, but recently they did some fairly major work on my 2000 Dodge van. Afterwards, I drove it to South Padre and back (1,000+ miles), and the van runs great - Chris did an excellent job! (McKinney location)

The service engine light was on in my car. Since my car is 17yrs old, I knew my car needed extensive repairs. When I received the repair order I was in shock. I checked the prices online and the prices quoted by Solutions Automotive were below or right at the quoted price. The employees were pleasant, explained everything, even used their own cars to pick me up and bring me back home. Nothing but high praises to this shop. They were my lifesaver! I was headed to a dog agility trial pulling a 36' trailer, me, my daughter and my dogs. My trucks transmission failed me in the heat of the day. We limped to our campground, freed my truck and limped to Solutions Automotive. They were awesome. Gave me a quick fix to get me to my dog show, then a permanent fix on Monday before we headed back to Colorado. To this day my truck has held. Hats off to a company that goes out of its way to help a stranded visitor. The price of the fix was reasonable as well. They could have over charged me, I had no alternative way to repair, but they did not. They even allowed myself and my two dogs to hang out in their air conditioned office during both repairs. Highly recommend, and thank you again!

We have taken all of our vehicles here for oil changes, checkups, and repairs. Great staff, always friendly and helpful, and prices seem reasonable. They never made me feel stupid for asking questions. They have saved us money from repairs suggested by other shops. Service is fast, and they are up front with costs. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Solutions Automotive in McKinney. Very professional knowledgeable and extremely clean work environment. I brought in an older vehicle that is very difficult to work on and had complex issues. This company took the time to go through each issue and communicate what they were finding and kept after it until everything was in perfect working order. The level of workmanship is outstanding. My car has never run better. They even went beyond expectations and located a code reader for this particular vehicle. They have my business hands down and look forward to bringing in all my vehicles as long as I live in McKinney ... and I plan on living here a long time. The cost was exactly as quoted and the owner even got on the phone with me to explain what they were doing. I am quite familiar with auto repairs and am very impressed with their expertise! Thank you Shane for your honesty and integrity (he is the one who I spoke with daily and kept me up with the status).

I was very impressed that they checked with me before starting any work. They were very trustworthy and honest about the job. If I need a mechanic or anything done to my car, I will be going to Solutions Automotive and have been for the past four years!! Joe takes care of you like it is his car. He really cares about you and tries to give you the best service for the lowest price and then backs it up with a two year guarantee. You won t find a better place to service your car.

Quality + Integrity + ServiceI brought my car to Joe at Solutions Automative for routine oil change, coolant and brake fluid, per maintenance alerts at ignition. I called after close and did not leave a message, but Joe promptly called me back, stating he had missed a call from this number. He set me up with an appointment the very next morning. After dropping my car off, he called to let me know that the alerts were just routine 60,000 mile alerts and my fluids were all just fine, but my spark plugs . I work long hours and was unable to get to the shop during lunch to pick up my vehicle as planned. They dropped off my car to the parking lot at no charge to help me out. Joe and his team are super knowledgeable, trustworthy and attentive to their customer's needs. This has been one of the best experiences I've had at a mechanic shop. I own a Lexus SUV since 2004 and have used the services of Solutions Automotive (SA) for many years. While initially I used the Lexus dealership I eventually found that it was more convenient geographically to use SA. Furthermore, I became used to the careful and diligent care that SA offered which was often less costly than the dealership. My Lexus is still in excellent condition after 16 years and I attribute this to the excellent service provided by SA. I recently had an indicator light fail and SA replaced it in minutes and sent me on my way without charge. This is the epitome of synergistic trust between us and I can highly recommend their service without reservation. Excellent service at a more affordable price. Took my car after the A/C began failing during Texas heatwave. They were able to diagnose and fix for less than dealership and also offer a veterans/military discount which helped. They went above and beyond to help me get my car situated for cross country travel. Will definitely continue getting car service here when I'm in the DFW area. All big service and parts came with a warranty too.

I was referred by Alex next door in auto solutions who is also an outstanding body work mechanic. Kevin diagnosed my problems fairly quickly and did not charge for the estimate. The repairs were done the next day in two hours and right at the correct budget. Both cases they provided a courtesy shuttle to and from the shop. I appreciate the efficiency and politeness. Will definitely be back with future car issues.

My car would not start intermittently and Solutions Automotive was able to identify the problem as a Fuel Pump problem. They fixed it and have not had any problems sense then.I have been bringing all of my cars to them for years now and every time they exceed my expectations with reasonable cost. No matter who I talk to at the shop they are all professional and able to help with any of your needs.Service: Engine repair

Solutions Automotive is one of the best shops I've been to in a while. I travel the country for work and believe me I see a lot of bad ones. Joe the owner was very professional and took his job seriously. They are respectful, helpful, and straight up with you from the beginning. They had me in and out of there in no time with my vehicle fixed at a reasonable rate. I'd give more stars if I could.

TEAM Solutions Automotive is simply the best!!! For years Joe and his team have taken excellent care of ALL of our family mobile needs. They never disappoint. Our car overheated and I was stranded. Solutions automotive scheduled a tow truck to pick up our vehicle and had it towed to their McKinney location. The next day they had it running like new. THANK YOU Solutions Automotive for always giving us quick, excellent, and affordable service. You and your TEAM are the best!

Awesome service! Picked up two trucks while we were teaching summer school. They drove them to the shop, did an oil change on each, and then dropped them back off at our school. It also cost us less then our regular oil change places. Thanks for the awesome service and great prices Solutions Automotive!!! All teachers should use this service!!!!!
