After moving to to Texas in 2010 I was fortunate enough to find Ron's trying to get transmission issues resolved in my Toyota Tacoma, I sold that vehicle 12 years later without a single repeat of the same or other mechanical issues. I have been a loyal customer with all my vehicles and friends of mine that need repair or maintenance. Detailed in their work, fully transparent on evaluating the situation and options available. Ron and his crew are all masters in their field, it shows in their work. I am so grateful for Ron s Automotive. I was expecting to pay a lot of money to have my truck repaired, or worse I was afraid I d find out that the necessary repairs were out of my reach. I bought a used truck and felt that when the check engine light came on just 15 miles from the dealership, that they d knowingly sold me a headache. It turns out it was just common issue with my vehicle and I only cheated myself by not just getting it tended to sooner.They got to my truck quickly and they were so down to earth and personable.I have a little more work to get done soon and I will certainly be a loyal customer here.I am so happy and they really made my week. I feel like a load was lifted of my shoulders. I can t wait to have a good running truck !!Update: Nov 2023 I took my truck in for a much needed and overdue oil vacuum pump issue. The repair went smoothly as they gave me their estimate, I accepted it through their online portal that s super easy to use. (Just follow the bouncing ball). My truck was ready on time and the communication and customer service was well over what you can expect in corporations or most private repair shops.Then, shortly afterward my truck developed a new issue. They took care of it seamlessly and beyond expectations.Ron s is a keeper repair shop.

What a relief to have such a great and affordable shop to get work done. They were quick with repairs but the workmanship was top notch. Very friendly and easy to deal with. Takes the stress out of getting repair work done. Will definitely be back for future repair work. Thanks again.

Had a complete exhaust and tires mounted and balanced then the alternator went out but it had 312K so he port it on for me too, great service since I know this job is a PIA! Headers and complete exhaust on a 5.4 Looking Ranch

Ron s Automotive is absolutely amazing! They are very thorough, quickly fixed the issue with my car, and earned my trust. They re knowledgeable and they know exactly what they re doing. Incredible mechanics and very reasonable on pricing. As a prior mechanic myself I can tell you they are the cream of the crop.I ve called on these guys for years on all of our cars and trucks for repair. After getting royally screwed by the other diesel repair shop off of HWY380, these guys were a breath of fresh air. Always willing to help no matter what. The tell you what you need and not what you don tHave gone out of their way numerous times to get me out of a jam. 100 percent the best I ve found.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I trust Ron's Automotive with all my cars. He was able to repair pretty extensive damage to my car's transmission and was able to track down a transmission to put in my car. He is always doing the extra work that is needed to get the job done. He is fast and extremely reasonable with constant communication. I will continue to bring all my cars to Ron. This place is GREAT!

They charge high rate for their jobsand after the repair I have an issue with the truck and I have to spend another 3k$ to fix it .I don't why I paid for the diagnostic fees and the truck has another issue in less than a month .Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went in for a turbo oil return line replacement and a few weeks after service I lost a turbo manifold bolt due to it not being tightened correctly. Additionally one of the coolant hose clamps were not connected. Called the office and reported the issue 2x but never got a response if or when they would make it right!
