Very pleasant experience; ladies looking for an honest mechanic shop, go here! I called them to get an estimate for installation of two catalytic converters. The estimate was within my budget so I stopped by the same day. Greeted with a cup of coffee, provided WiFi so I could get some work done while I waited, and I was in and out in about an hour. Friendly and professional staff, Ennis even followed up with me the next day to confirm my satisfaction. I only wish they offered more services. I wanted to get a gasket replaced on my transmission while I was there. I highly recommend them for any exhaust related issues. I believe they can perform basic repairs/maintenance too. I'll definitely return when it's time to upgrade my exhaust system!

They did not want to work on my bucket truck because it was too tall, and beyond the lifts weight rating. completely understand One gentlemen named Blake said he wouldn t mind getting under it to get it done for me. what a Great Experience I got today.!I Went to this place by reference and I was very pleased & satisfied( glad I stop there)Great service, good customer service and price reasonable.Got Problem with the exhaust, repair done in less 1 hr. No Appoiment necessary.Left the place with a Happy face and my car running smooth without noise of a race car. For a senior female.I honestly recommend.

Everything was great. They did a very good job at a very fair price. I walked in, a woman alone, & they were very helpful. They did not take advantage of a woman alone. Many mechanics would & have in my past. So, ladies, if you are worried about being treated fairly, this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Do Not Use This Place! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I have replaced both catalytic converters with them. One failed after 10,000 miles and they warrantied it. However, the "new" one failed after 5,000 miles and their response it - "we've already warrantied it once and we won't do it again" and also "sometimes after market ones don't work so now you need to use a dealer one at full cost to you." I really wish they would stand by their product. I also wish they would have told me up front that "sometimes these don't work." I'll be making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.Updating my review in reply to the Owner's response to contact them. I have contacted them - both manager and owner - and they are not willing to stand behind their service and/or product. I have filed a BBB complaint and sent them a demand letter under the Texas DTPA.

I could not be anymore pleased with this place! These guys know there stuff! All my cars have always gone to this location for exhaust installation and LISTEN TO THEM FOR SUGGESTIONS!! THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT FOLKS!! Cheers to the guys and gals at this facility!! Thanks for the work done on my Challnger Hellcat today! Im in love with the sound!! Well done as usual !!!!

This was the best decision of my life. I Came to this shop about 2 months ago for a flow master super 44 to be put on my cadillac ats I told them I wanted a deep sound and I got what I wanted with only one exhaust. The service was very fast and friendly. The work is great and months later the sound is still great thank you so much. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone especially because of the fair pricing. I really want to know if it can be double pipped!?

Pronto installed a full exhaust in my 69 Chevelle and did a fantastic job. There are no appointments necessary. I dropped the car off in the morning, picked it up around 5. The exhaust fit is great, welds are exceptional and price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I had a issue in my truck on cold startup. Sounded like chains rattling in the exhaust. The dealer said it was broken welds in the muffler and wanted to sell me a new muffler for over $1000. Took it to Promto were they diagnosed it as the flapper valve not the muffler. Had them cut off the flapper valve and replace the muffler anyway for a better sound. They gave a thorough explanation of the purpose of the flapper valve and what to expect it I cut it off. They recommended a particular muffler to minimize the sound difference when the vehicle switches from 8cyl to 4 cylinder. Love the sound, very happy. I can hear the difference when it switches from 8cyl th 4cyl. It does sound as described by their team in 4 cyl mode, but it's minimal due to their recommendation. I have been using Pronto since the 1990s and now my adult kids are too. They are are awesome and really care of their customers. They even send a text to follow up on how I liked it and if anything needs attention. I highly recommend this place.

I've used Pronto for many years, and exclusively the North/McKinney location since they opened. They have consistently gone above and beyond. It is always quality work, and they're great about explaining options or what is needed. I wouldn't go elsewhere with any of my vehicles.

If your black don't go there racism ant dead took screws out so damage could happen and did damages to the side of my car10/12/2023 black corvette had to pull off road because thay took screws out my front bumper and it did brake in half

I've been using pronto muffler for years and for several different vehicles... you wont find a more curious and knowledgeable shop from their sales team and owner to the techs... hands down best exhsust shop I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with

Really hate leaving bad reviews especially when I ve taken so many of my vehicles here for work because I trusted this business. I used to go to the Plano location as well as the McKinney, the incident I am posting in regards to occurred at the McKinney location. Employees were rude to begin with, we wanted to confirm the work being done with the mechanic and he disregarded our question and yelled saying whatever you wrote on the paper is what I m doing . We were trying to confirm if we wrote X-pipe or H-pipe as well as let him know we didn t want to keep the resonators because we have no space for them and he never confirmed he replied the way I explained above. My husband wanted to leave because of how disrespectful the tech was; however, I was compassionate and said maybe he s just having a bad day and we brushed off the disrespect. When we received our car back, it sounded fine so we left. When we got home we noticed a scrape and dent in the rear bumper (bare in mind this vehicle is a brand new 2022 and was bought 1 day prior no dings or scratches, as you can see in the photos there is a temp tag). We opened the trunk to find the resonators we didn t want to keep. Remember, we told the man at the counter to tell the tech we don t want to keep the resonators, the same tech that we went up to, to confirm we are not keeping the resonators and he replied disrespectfully saying whatever you wrote on the paper is what I m doing . It s obvious the tech threw the resonators in the trunk with no care whatsoever scraping/denting the trunk. I took it back to the dealership and due to where the dent was they needed to take the whole bumper out to repair it, thankfully I had just bought it and I was able to repair it at a low cost but it s safe to say I won t be doing business here again. Unfortunately I have lost trust although we ve been coming here for the past 5 years and brought several vehicles in.*** The photos I posted are after taking it through a car wash and buffing it with polish ***

Incredibly pleased with how it went. Walked in not knowing much about exhaust systems..they quickly checked my current setup and clearly explained my options..price was way less than I was thinking it would be and they finished in less than an hour. Results are EXACTLY what I wanted.

Came in right before close to see what they had in stock, picked out what I wanted came in at open the next day, I was in and out within the hour. Great prices, great customer service overall satisfied. I don t usually write reviews but they reached out a few days later to ask how I liked the work and I thought that was amazing. I will definitely be back if I need anything done.

The only place to fix that dreaded P0420 code with a new catalytic converter. Incredible pricing, incredible speed and service equals INTEGRITY. Same day service. I put this off for six months until I had to get this fixed for an inspection. Extremely competitive pricing. Saved me hundreds under the lowest price I was quoted in Collin, Grayson and Fannin counties. Thank you Pronto Muffler!

Can't beat their prices and their work, top tier. The only exhaust and brake place I can put my full trust in. Straight to the point marketing and pricing won't give you around, all you need to do as a customer is know what you need they got you. If they can't help you they will tell you, and will help redirect you to the best place.

My catalytic converter finally got clogged and my vehicle broke down 1 mile away from this place. I made it to the shop and expected to pay a huge some. Not only did they fix it the same day and my vehicle drives amazing now. I paid less than half of what I thought! Don t hesitate!

Was able to get same day walk-in service here for an exhaust leak on my Jeep YJ. Ended up getting a cat back exhaust installed along with fixing the leaks on the front side once I found I out the general price range for services when another customer came in for a quote. The front counter employee was professional and wasn't a pushy salesman type. The technician that worked on my Jeep installed and made good welds for the various tube sections and muffler. As a former dealership tech who has seen a lot of terrible exhaust system installs this place is not one of those installers. Good value; would recommend!Service: Exhaust

Great job on a custom exhaust for my Ranger. Todd was honest with me that they hadn t done a dual exhaust on the new Rangers but he quoted me an honest price and delivered a high quality product. Better than any bolt on you can find out there. I have more to do on my truck so I will be back to these guys. Support your local small businesses!

Highly recommend Pronto muffler in McKinney for exhaust system work. Brought my silverado in because the previous mechanic damaged my exhaust system while replacing the catalytic converter and caused an exhaust leak. Pronto muffler discovered the damage and repaired it correctly. Also had them install a Borla exhaust and it sounds great . Pronto also called to follow up after we left a couple days later to ask if everything was ok.

I went to the McKinney location to get an estimate for a new muffler and tail pipe for my truck.The staff was knowledgeable and have me several options.The mechanic who did the work took care of my vehicle and did a great job with the installation. I left my key in the night drop and it was done before lunch time.

Scheduled to have a new H-pipe and mufflers installed. Scheduling was impossible since they don't take appointments. Upon getting a slot right when they opened, they said they won't touch my H-pipe (even though it was 50 state legal for emissions).They also won't let you keep your old exhaust systems as I assume they want the scrap value. They say there's some law but i've never experienced that anywhere before.Just be cautious with this place. The guy running the counter/phones is not friendly nor helpful. The guy who did the actual welding did a good job.Service: Exhaust

I visited Pronto Muffler & Brake they came highly recommended from a good friend. I visited to have my exhaust system repaired the owner himself was there and got one of his guys right on the job they had my vehicle squared away in under an hour and on my way. When I'm ready for an upgrade to my exhaust system I'll be back.Thanks guys.

They were great. They don't try to take advantage of females like many garages do. Went to get my catalytic converter replaced because my car pulled a code for it about 6 months ago. They checked it and told me that it didn't throw a code, so I don't need it. They could have easily changed it anyway and made a buck, but instead, they were honest and said I didn't need it. I will definitely come back here for all my car repairs and i will recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you so much

I was told one price for a double resonator delete but after I came home I realized they only cut one of the resonators. When I called them they denied the price was for two resonators and claimed it was only for one so they tried to charge me an extra 175 for the other resonator even though it was suppose to be included initially.

Muffler shop that I would recommend to everyone looking for a better tone on their vehicle. They welded on a resonator and tip at only $80 which is a reasonable price for the quality of the work.
