I will never go anywhere else but here! They are 100% honest & transparent with their knowledge and provide such quality service. I was wowed when they fixed a problem with my car that even my dealership couldn t figure out. I recommend Nortex to everyone I can! I appreciate these guys so much!!!!

Quick and easy place to get a state inspection at. Staff are helpful and friendly, had a very pleasant visit. The lobby is very well maintained and comfortable to wait in, and you can usually get free refreshments as well. They offer plenty of other services as well and usually have discount coupons available on their website so make sure to check ahead of time.

!! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES, DON T COME HERE JUST GO ELSEWHERE !!NORTEX checked my car for an inspection last year & said I needed to change my break pads ASAP.. second opinion confirmed there was only 2000 miles of wear & I was fine. I let it slide & came back to the location for an oil change/inspection because of the convenient location.They charged me !!! $90 !!! For an oil change, and told me my inspection would fail unless I let them fix a leak and change out my wiper blades (blades were replaced 90 days ago & there was no leak as confirmed by the dealer later that day), what a scam. When confronting them about it they said well you still paid and said you don t have to come here so guess what, I won t. You shouldn t either! Please just go a mile down the road in any direction, it will save you time and money!

I'll never go anywhere else! These guys get me in and out quickly, communicate what needs to be done, and I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Same guys for several years, so it's nice to see familiar faces. It's great to be able to see what they're doing thru the windows to the garage. It's always clean in the waiting area and the tv and refreshments are a definite plus. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Very nice shop. Good service. Cashier could have tried to help more with finding discount information when I asked though. He spoke so softly you could barely hear him when he spoke.

It's nice to find an auto mechanic that is honest and doesn't try to sell you on extra stuff that is unnecessary. Can't say enough good things about this place, will definitely come back for all service work on our trucks.

First time there, went on positive referral. Mechanic Will perfectly diagnosed and fixed my problem, check engine light. Honest guy, solid work. Highly recommend!

I had my oil changed a few weeks ago at the Granbury Expressway, and the person that changed it didn t tighten my oil filter. I ended up driving my car with no oil in it because all of it leaked out, and I had to get a tow truck. The staff at the Granbury location have been amazing with helping during the situation. Ray has been great! But the big boss guy has no reimbursed me for the tow truck I had to pay for out of my own pocket and will not call me back after I ve left numerous messages with his staff at this location. I was told he d mail me a check and he hasn t, and will not call me back. I didn t want to leave a bad review because the staff have been helpful, but the big boss lacks communication and sticking to his word.

Superb service! Brad, Gerald and Will are all excellent in what they do and very knowledgeable in all areas of mechanics. If you think this is just an oil change/state inspection place you are missing out! Although it is the best place to take care of your inspection and regular maintenance too! Their pricing was more than fair and honest. I have never felt so good after leaving a car repair shop! Great Customer Service and they keep their word on repair and maintenance times. Brad the Service Manager is helpful and running a nice team here.I've had both of our Bimmers serviced here and job well done.

Just had the state inspection done on my Jeep Cherokee and they were super fast. I always have a great experience coming here and have no doubt that they have my best interest at heart when performing any type of inspection or maintenance on my vehicles. They use state inspections as a revenue getter be careful. Failed, took it elsewhere and passed. Gonna have to find a new way to get money in a year with state inspections going away.

There have been multiple occasions where Nortex has had the opportunity to screw me over but each and every time they have been honest and have done a good job.So I recommend them whole heartedly. Hard to find mechanics you can trust so I hope they stay around for a long time

These gents do good work at an honest price. The feeling at this shop is somehow both more laid back and more professional than the average repair shop.Most recently, I needed my rear shocks changed out on my 2010 F150. I called at then end of the day Thursday and asked if they could do it early Friday morning. And, I told them I had my own parts. No problem, took it in the next morning and they did my job first of the day.

I've been taking our cars here for oil changes and inspections pretty much since it opened because it's convenient, clean and quick. But I'm not going back anymore. I'm sick of them pushing other services (brake fluid change, power steering fluid change, radiator flush) I know my cars don't need. The final straw was a failed inspection because of a power steering fluid leak, which isn't correct. I'm done.

If I could give this place less than a 1 star rating I would. I am a 45 year mechanic and stopped to get my truck inspected today. I was told that my power steering fluid was low and that my windshield wipers were leaving water on my windshield. The bald guy then tried to sell me new windshield wiper blades so I could pass inspection. Only problem is I am not your average idiot. I know there is no requirement in the inspection for power steering fluid nor windshield wipers that leave water on the window....Only that they are not torn more than 1/2 inch. I told the bald guy to go ahead and fail me then, which he said he did but he never gave me any paperwork which was a state inspection violation on his part again. I know this place is using the state inspection to upsell items that are not needed to unknowing customers. So beware and use a different inspection facility this one is not above board.

This team does a good job. I ve been coming here for years for inspection and oil change. They are always prompt and professional. I restored classic cars for years and I m very picky about who works on my cars. I ve had a BMW, classic Bronco 76, Town and Country, Expedition, Toyota RAV4, and other cars to this crew. Never a problem.Service: Oil change

They Forgot the gasket on my drain plug for an oil change, was leaking oil everywhere. I confronted them them next day and they straight up lied to my face about it, had to get it fixed at the dealership for 180$. Will never go there again !!

Awful experience at the EDorado location. They will take advantage of you if you do not know anything about cars. They overcharged me for a service I did not need as part of my state inspection process.

Overall a good place. Always pressure you to purchase extra services. Went in for state inspection, was being pressured to buy new wiper blades, which I declined. The refused inspection by saying wiper blades cannot be passed. Drove out, went to the next store and they completed the inspection without any problems.Will not be returning.

Scam! Went for a car inspection and the employee refused to pass my 1 year old 2021 car for bad windshield wipers . They work perfectly. My car passed with flying colors at a place down the street. Don t waste your money here.

Awesome service! I came in for a state inspection and was worried it was take a while like I've experienced at other shops in the past. Considering I had my two littles I came prepared to keep them occupied. I wasn't even done getting them settled in yet and my car was already finished! The advisor suggested some work but didn't push and was really just making me aware. I definitely recommend and will be back.

Great ppl great service. Spent two day attempting remove a O2 sensor downstream. They did it in 10minutes. 30years of experience goes a long way.

I needed an oil change and my bf told me about this location. I moved and it s close to my house so I figured I d give it a try. Right away I was so satisfied with my choice! The lady who works the front desk was very kind and helpful. The pricing is great and the building itself is extremely clean and has a comfortable waiting area if you do need to wait for your car to be worked on. I will definitely be going back.

Failed my state inspection citing bad wiper blades. My wiper blades are brand new! They just wanted to charge me double for a new set. Went to a different shop who passed the vehicle right away. Read the rest of reviews, this is a theme.
