It's hard to know anything about auto body repairs, whether from accidents or hail, if you're not in the industry. That leaves a lot of folks struggling to decide on what shop they should pick after an unfortunate event. Should you go with a big name that you recognize from TV ads? Should you go with a local small business? Should you just ask the insurance company (across the country) where to have it repaired? My family and I have used Josh's Auto Body for 15+ years for every accident, incident, fender bender, hail damage, and every other impact to our personal vehicles and our work cars. They've been helpful and clear in every situation, especially helping us repair and resolve our insurance claims.Understandably, the shops in our area can get full, especially when we have nasty weather. I promise, it's worth the wait (if there is one) to have them work on your vehicles.My only negative is that it can be a little hard to see from Highway 5, until you're right up on the entrance. It sits back a little bit in the lot. You won't miss it if you look for the sno cone place across the street. The entrance is just north of the intersection of McDonald and Jefferson.

Very happy with the work performed and everyone was friendly. However, it was clear when I got my car back that someone had rummaged through my glove box and my center console because I keep things very neat and organized. I had taken almost everything out of my car, but I had left my car cord in the center console, and this was taken. First time ever having something removed from my car. Probably won't return due to this.

Josh s Auto Body Shop are reliable, honest and operate with integrity. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for reliable mechanics. Corey took the time to answer MANY questions, and provided me with all the options available- from repair to replacement. It can be difficult to find a body shop you can trust with your vehicle these days, so I'm very happy to have found this shop. My car is as good as new. Best auto body shop north of Dallas and in Collin County. I've been driving for 60 yrs in 6 metro areas and this outfit is the most honest and thorough repair shop I have ever dealt with. Just good people doing good work.

Over the years our family has had several vehicles repaired by Josh's Auto body. The service and communication are always fantastic with their service Manager, Corey. They deal with the insurance and take care of all the headaches so that we do not have to stress about it. The workmanship and quality are always top notch with any minor problems being immediately addressed. I have no problem recommending them to friends and family and we'll use them again in the future for any collision repair needs.

My truck was hail damaged after a recent storm. Called Josh's and made an appointment next morning for an estimate. Corey explained how they were swamped and he offered an appointment a month out, I scheduled it. Someone cancelled and I got in a week early. Corey always kept me apprised of the progress and delivered on time. The quality of work is flawless! Thank you for a job well done.Service: Body & Trim

I drove my car less than a mile and I could hear it whistling. I was inconvenienced by having to bring it back 3 different times for things that were extremely noticeable. Also, I can still hear wind coming through on the driver side. They seemed extremely annoyed by simple things that should have been easily noticeable.

It was a small job that took about an hour. He charges a hourly rate. He was very fast about repairing my window that had fallen off track. He was going to charge me but he told me , no worries I didn t owe him anything. Truly a blessing in these times and days. Thank you Corey for making my day . I was really shocked to see a picture of General Lee (the man, not the car) in this shop, along with lots of other right wing paraphernalia. I haven t seen anything like it since I move away from Mississippi in 1993. However, the customer service was great and they did a great job on my car. Susie gave me a ride to the rental car place and this is an honest, hard working group of folks. After the repairs were complete, my battery died and they replaced it at cost, but left it off the invoice, so I let them know. This experience was a reminder that even though we don t agree politically, we managed to have a good experience with mutual respect and honesty. It s clear from the military pics in the waiting room that this family has sacrificed a lot for our country and I respect that and they did a great job on my car and dealing with the insurance company of the lady that hit me.

My 2018 Fusion driver's door and fender were backed into and dented. I went to three franchise body shops and found it was a two week wait just to get an estimate. My schoolteacher daughter said she'd heard good things about Josh's Auto Body. I went over, they took photos and had everything worked out with the insurance company within a week. When I brought it in for the work they said it normally takes 5 to 7 days to get the car back...I got the car back in 3. We will come back here for any future needs- we are so thankful for how well we were taken care of. We were nervous about the cost of repairing a broken side mirror and ripped fender, so we put off seeing anyone. Wish we wouldn t have! Corey got us fixed up in the matter of an hour and helped us find the most cost effective way to make the car look great again. They were honest, quick, and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

After backing out of a parking space, I tore my driver s side mirror clean off my car. I took my vehicle to Josh s Auto Body, and they were able to order the part and get it fixed in the span of two days. Everyone there was very friendly and made sure to explain everything to me. Since I m a young woman, typically I only go to auto shops with my stepdad since mechanics can have a bad rep for taking advantage of naivety. This was not a problem here at all, and I felt very comfortable being there alone. Although this happened months ago, I still wanted to leave a review in case anyone else finds themselves in a situation similar to the one I had.

thought it was family friendly i think again. there comes out josh. ohhhh josh yup! he has a big interest in cars: okay yeah that s fine i guess: but turns out heis body is metal. we all got problems ik but his body is like automatic. he actually a robot like his body completely automatic i think he run on bing or some thing okay long story short he mala funktioned and bit a chunk out of my kid. poor orville.

First collision was in 2014 and was $9,500+ in damage and the second was Sept 2019 with $6,800 in damage. They did a GREAT job repairing both vehicles! It's hard to find a body shop that takes pride in their work and listens to the customer. Josh's raises the bar in the industry. You'll be hard pressed to find a body shop with better customer service, attention to detail and quality work. I've recommended Josh's to several people over the years and will continue to do so. Thank you Josh & Corey!!!

After finally getting fed up with the local Dealer's Service Center I was looking for another body shop here in McKinney. After reading all the great reviews for Josh's Auto Body I'd give them a try. Everyone was so courteous and welcoming. Cody was able to immediately assist me and I am very pleased with the quality of the work.

Such wonderful kind people. I dropped in to get a quote to fix my bumper and they just fixed it right then while I went to lunch and they didn t even charge me. Now I don t expect every repair to be free but it just shows how kind they are. Caliber Collision quoted me $400. It was such a pleasure paying them in Emporium Pie and a gift card from The Yard . Love these guys!

This is the best, hometown body shop that I know. These could be the last of the good guys of body work!! They are fast, dependable, fair, and priced right. I have been a satisfied customer at Josh s for over 24 years! You can t go wrong at Josh s. They are the premier, auto repair shop in Mckinney, Texas or anywhere else!!

I parked my car too close to the curb, I put it on reserve, and accidently ripped the front bumper out. I called Josh's Body Shop and brought my vehicle in that day. Met Cory at the front desk, he take a look at it and said he will take care of it. When he was done, I was waiting and ready to pay for the fast and incredible job he has done. He told me, is alright, only a couple of minutes of work, and tell me don't worry about it. I highly recommend Josh's Body Shop, as they are very good at what they do, honest, and super friendly.

My dark grey 04 Corvette convertible had a crack/hole in the drivers side rear rocker panel. They were able to patch and repaint as opposed to ordering a new panel from G.M. which would have cost almost twice the cost as the repair that they were able to make. They did a fantastic job (paint matched perfectly) and I was unable to tell even close up that the panel had been patched , sanded and repainted.

While having my seat repaired next door at Arnold's Upholstery Repair, I told him about a scratch I had on the side of my door. Some idiot keyed the side of my car. We walked over to Josh's Auto Body and asked if he could take a look at it while my car was at Arnold's. When I picked up my car the scratch was gone! All the scratches were gone! I asked how much he wanted and to my surprise, he said there was no charge. Amazing. I did not expect to get the scratches removed for free and I bet they don't make a habit of it. But Josh's did a great job at making my car look new again. Josh's is the kind of place you go for professional personal service for your vehicle.

I called to have a sunroof repaired and he was so nice to give me another company to use and even gave me their number. He didn't have to take the time to do that. Could have just said, "we don't do sunroofs, thx and bye".

Josh s was recommended to me by a friend. My truck not only had hail damage but I had a pretty good size dent on my rear fender from someone hitting me in a parking lot. The staff were nice but I had to take my truck back in several times due to over spray, air pocket in the bondo, interior parts weren t put back together properly, etc. I told Cory several times that I was having issues with some of my electronics not working like my windows, door locks and even my cruise Control. Everything in my truck worked properly before I took it in!! Cory told me I was being picky and just trying to get extra stuff done.I felt that the comment was very uncalled for. I am like most people and am very pick with my truck. If I was having any issues with the door locks, windows, cruise control or anything else I wouldn t have said anything about it! But I wasn t!!! I probably wouldn t use Josh s agin

I took my White, 2011 Chevy Silverado over to Josh's Paint and Body in January 2013 after someone ran into the back part of the truck bed, causing so bad damage. My State Farm agent wanted me to use someone from his list, However, A very good and trusted friend of mine suggested I go to Josh's Paint and Body., Since he had taken his vehicle there last year and was very happy with the repairs. I have to say that Corey, the General Manager is a great person to deal with and a true asset to Josh's Paint & Body. A statement to the type of company they are, is that I had a Hertz Rent-A-Car set up to use through my State Farm agent and it ended up a disaster, after a Hertz driver picked me up from Josh's and took me over to Hertz to pick up a vehicle, just to find out they didn't have one for me. I had the driver take me back over to Josh's, where Corey worked with my State Farm Agent to get a Rental through Enterprise Car Rental.Corey informed me that my pickup would be ready by the next Friday and it was completed and ready to go as promised. The workmanship and paint job quality was amazing and exceeded my expectations. My pick-up looked Brand New, as if it had never been wrecked. My uncle was a Paint & Body Shop owner for over 30 years in another state, before he died in 2008 and he taught me what to look for in dealing with paint & body shops. He said always look for great customer service, friendly staff who possess professionalism, integrity and workmanship. I feel that Corey and his staff truly possess all of these qualities and I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you take your vehicle, if every in need of repair to them, as there is something truly to be said for dealing with a small hometown, yet super professional company, which is Josh's Paint & Body.Feel free to use this posting as a testimonial from me,Mr. Michael H. Customer service was great when I had my initial repair done. However, it is a good thing they have a lifetime warranty as the repair they did wasn't top quality as they didn't do the top coat correct and now the paint job on the repair needs to be redone after only a couple of years. I'm very disappointed since their reviews were excellent.
