The service was outstanding, even though the place was undergoing construction and remodeling. The staff was exceptionally polite, creating a positive atmosphere. There were snacks and beverages readily available throughout the waiting area. Despite having an appointment, they promptly took in my car within minutes. Upon return, they went the extra mile by washing and vacuuming the vehicle.

I had to wait over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment. Not acceptable at all. No communication thru out the process. Go to Huffines in Plano, they have a much better system and I never waited long.

Out of all the car dealerships I ve been to, Huffines Hyundai McKinney does an absolute outstanding job! My advisor, George goes above and beyond to help me get my vehicle in top shape! He directly texted me everyday to update me on my vehicle status, booked my shuttle so I m not late for work while my car is being worked on, and even gave me a free unexpected car wash so my car looked beautiful for me when I picked it up! Absolutely shocked with the amazing level of attention! Will definitely be recommending Huffines Hyundai McKinney and George as an advisor by far! Will absolutely be back for all my car s needs!

Purchased a car here in November '22.I recently started having issues with my heat/AC and the wiper fluid pump, so I tried to schedule a service appointment at the same time as my oil change this weekend. I was told they can't do the heat/ac or wiper pump because that part of the shop is closed on the weekend. But I can bring it by during the week before 4 pm.When I said I couldn't, due to my work hours, I was told, "I'm not sure what you want me to do." They said I could drop off my car in the evening and it will be done the next day.But I work from 5am - 4pm.I need to be able to drive to work, and you won't even have opened for the day before my shift starts.Then I thought, "Hey! They talked up that service plan to me when I bought the car! It said I could get a loaner if I needed one while work was being completed, that's perfect!"But I was told, "We don't do loaners anymore because of covid." Well, then, WHY WAS THAT A SELLING POINT WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR AND SERVICE PLAN IN 2 0 2 2??This was well after the covid restrictions were lifted and businesses were back to "normal." I got NO help from the service center.The ONLY time they are willing to do the work on my car is Mon - Fri during hours where I have to be at work.IT'S CHRISTMAS SEASON AND I MANAGE RETAIL. I LITERALLY CAN NOT TAKE A DAY OFF WORK BECAUSE YOU REFUSE TO HONOR THE PLAN YOU SOLD ME.I'm bringing my car in for the oil change since that's paid for in this scam of a service plan , but you're not getting the money for a 30k. And as much as I have spent on this damn service plan, for it to be worthless when I need it.. I'm going to look into canceling that.My wife and I have bought our last 3 vehicles from this location. Now that we are looking to buy her a new one, considering this level of "service," I can't think of any reason why we would consider making another purchase from Huffines Hyundai McKinney.

Great! Service advisor was quick and friendly. They took care of my issue in 2 days after the plano service center had my car for 1.5 months and couldn t solve it.

Taken a month to do an engine swap that was the manufacturers fault. They play stupid Ads for themselves as the terrible hold music. Will never buy a Korean car after this terrible experience. They tell me the car will be done on the 1st, yet I still haven t heard for these scumbags. Do yourselves a favor and go anywhere else.

I wanted to leave a quick review for Huffines Hyundai and specifically my Service Advisor, George Bowmer. All I can say is Outstanding!!! I brought my wife's car in for a check engine light issue. Not only did he make sure that got taken care of, but he also made sure a recall repair was done, and on my request also made sure the vehicle got a oil change and tire rotation. He set good expectations on when I would get the vehicle back, and then had it done in a little over 24 hours. Having just had a recent issue with our other vehicle at another car company, which took 6 weeks for them to figure out the issue and get it back to me, this was a very welcome and pleasant surprise. He even made sure , even though they are currently under construction and very busy to wash the car inside and out before delivery. 5 stars all day long! Thank you George!

Disaster of a shop. Been waiting 2+ weeks for my car, have to call multiple times to get any update, and they claim no loaner cars are available. Plan to never use this shop or buy a Hyundai from them again.

This is our 5th Hyundai that we've bought at this dealership. I want to give praise to Tim who was willing to take a look at my tire issue and see what could be done instead of offering to call me an Uber which is what another agent did. Tim has always been one to do what he can and not just be dismissive. And he got my issue resolved and me out of there by closing time. Can we clone him, please.Seriously, I spent all day waiting on roadside assistance and the initial agent treated me like I'm the one that decided to get there a little over an hour before closing. Very much an indifferent vibe.I even had called this same agent around 1 - 2 PM CST to give them a heads up that I would be there whenever roadside had the time to tow me there (I had already been waiting on roadside before calling). This is not the attitude I've ever had to deal with at Hyundai service in previous years prior to Tim and the new service manager. I'm giving this review a 5 "only" because of the excellent service I got from Tim alone.I would like management to look into other issues I mentioned though as I wouldn't want others to have to deal with the same.Service: Tires

Bought a used electric vehicle here and the initial process went well.Asked for our registration & plate and got no response for up to 1 month. After calling to figure out why it was taking so long(at this point temp tag has expired) just to find out they never sent out the paperwork at all.Then months later started having issues with sensor for the tires(showing low tire pressure even after pumping) so we called them to talk to someone in services. They said someone was going to call back to help. It's over a week and yet no call back.Quite unfortunate.

I brought my car in for service and they did an alignment(I didn't request one it was "complimentary") that later on I found caused my tires to wear on the edges a few thousand miles later and now they are not sure if they can re-do my alignment that they messed up I also just had it in for service not too long ago and they didn't mention anything about tires(which are down to 0/32 and 1/32 on the edges) they were just busy trying to upsell me on other stuff and left out a major safety concern!!!....I used to get good service here but not anymore.

Scheduled a service appointment 5 weeks out. Upon arrival was told I needed to leave my car overnight for diagnostics. I wasn't informed of this until that day so I was told to bring it back when I could leave it. Now I'm being told I must wait another 5 weeks to get the car in! I've called twice to speak to the service manager (over a week ago) and still no response or call back. The customer service at this location is non-existent. I understand the staffing issues that all service establishments are experiencing now but this is absolutely inexcusable. I would suggest taking your car to a proven local provider that can do quality work and provide customer service as well. This whole experience has left me tremendously frustrated.

Waited over 3 weeks for a scheduled maintenance (Genesis covers first 3 years of service for free). Went there on time but it took them 30 mins to get me in. They said it ll just be oil change and tire rotation. But the service was much more comprehensive in the previous location. I went there early morning as scheduled yet no one came out to get service started; the employees were just chilling inside. Then I had to wait 2.5 hours. It s as if they didn t care. Racism? Perhaps no technician at that time was familiar with Genesis vehicle. If so why did they schedule me to drop in during the hour no Genesis technician is working? That only adds case for poor service management. After the service no printout of my vehicle analysis or crossed out checklist. Just a receipt. Worst service experience I ve had in 20 years. Go to the Plano location!

Editing to add that the General Manager and Service Manager have bent over backwards to make this right. If you walk away feeling dissatisfied with customer service at the service department, let management know. They care and will get involved.----AWFUL experience with a customer service agent who made me feel like appointments are meaningless.Bought my Santa Fe Hybrid here less than a year ago. A month ago I made an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and for them to look at an issue we're having where our steering column vibrates and makes noise between certain speeds.I show up for the oil change and tire rotation and they have nobody on staff to look at the issue with the vibration, so they tell me I'm going to need to make an appointment to come back. I'm a teacher and subs are hard to come by. They don't offer loaner vehicles for warranty work, so I cancel my Spring Break plans to make an appointment since it's only two weeks away.The first available appointment they had during spring break week was today, Tuesday, March 8th, at 11:30am.I show up today and they tell me that they're not going to be able to even look at the car for diagnosis until some time Thursday if I drop it off right now.I ask why when I had an appointment. They say the appointment is just to speak to a cashier, not for service. So, be aware, appointments that you make here are meaningless.Transparency is insanely important to me. If their service department works from walk-ins, I should have been told that when setting up the appointment. I would have dropped my car off that first Saturday.If my car can't even be looked at for diagnosis, how long would it take to repair? I waited 1.5 hours for my oil change and tire rotation, so I can't imagine.I used to have a car we purchased at Sewell in Plano. They spoiled me. Top notch customer service, a nice lounge to wait in while work was being done on your car, loaner vehicles for warranty work.Beyond disappointed. There are other Hyundai dealerships in DFW. I'm going to try Van Hyundai or Eckert Hyundai instead.

Bought my car here in 2018 and every time I come in basic service takes longer and longer. 2-3hrs for an oil change with an appointment is just unacceptable.845 am appointment and I m still sitting here at 11am.If the appointment doesn t mean anything get rid of it. I feel like I m at the airport just getting bumped from an overbooked flight.Unfortunately will not be back (they also go out of their way to ask for 5 star review but how can I with 2-3hr oil change)Service: Oil change

I recently brought my Elantra in for an engine computer update, covered under a factory recall.Taylor was my service advisor and she was a pleasure to work with.I was very happy with the wait time, service and especially friendliness and helpful nature of the service staff.I will definitely return again for future service on my Elantra.This experience was better than service I typically received at another Hyundai dealer in a different city to the south.Initially I scheduled my appointment thru their website as I couldn t get thru by phone the first time I tried, website worked just fine.I called a couple days later to confirm details and scheduled a future appointment to address a different (less urgent) issue with sunroof rattling noises.The 2nd appointment did have to be set 4-5 weeks out, but they were able to schedule me in WEEKS sooner than the other Hyundai service department in Plano.I ll try to remember to update this review once I get the sunroof serviced.So far, I m hopeful that service will continue to be better than I received elsewhere.Fortunately my issues thus far have not been urgent, so I can work around the scheduling issues everyone is experiencing.

This service department is a disaster and has been trending in that direction for a couple of years now. If you need any work done/service to your vehicle you re going to want to look else where. You ll thank me later!

I have an older Hyundai but the service department always treat me as if I am driving the latest model. I have had to take the car in for a couple of minor recalls, and the service department has always been timely and even wash my 12-year-old car after their service is completed. When I finally get a new vehicle, Huffines Hyundai McKinney is already at the top if my shopping list. Great service at this dealership.
