Miles was professional and about business, while also providing good customer service.The service tech exceeded my expectations by not just performing the expected service, but by also evaluating the general health of the vehicle (tire wear, battery life, air filters,...), all in what I believe was reasonable time (~2hrs).I received electronic statements for work estimates and for the completed work, which I appreciate. This makes vehicle maintenance record keeping much more organized for me.Miles also called and left a message to let me know the work was completed and my vehicle was ready for pickup.I've used Firestone for more than 20 years, across 3 states, and can say that my experience with this company in general has been consistently positive. Some service locations are better than others, and the one on Eldorado in McKinney is one of the best.

I had a confirmed appointment for the first spot of the day and I reached the store on time but the front desk manager said it will be atleast 3 hour wait for less than an hour job.This is just ridiculous as there is no value of customer appointment and time. If they were so busy and/or staffed less, they should not have confirmed the appointment. That way, I would have rescheduled to another day and not have driven unnecessarily. It is simply unacceptable to not value customers time by wrongly confirming the appointment and expecting the customer to wait for unreasonably longer times. I am NEVER coming back to this store, and I strongly recommend to not trust the Firestone online appointment scheduler.

They helped us quickly with no appointment. Honestly, faster than other places with an appointment. They couldn t fix my tire but they put the spare on and didn t charge us for anything. It was late in the day and we had our two grandkids that needed to get home so we didn t get new tires then but we will go back there to replace it. Very nice and super helpful!

I wish I could give zero stars worst location for car service. I gave my car for state inspection at 10 am and they told me I can pick it up before 5pm since they close at that time. I never got a call saying that my car is ready. We went there at 4:45pm and I can see from outside that they just took my car in for Inspection. If you can t do your work then don t take cars from people we can go somewhere else to get it inspected. Employees were rude too.

I've been helped here twice, had all my tires replaced and honestly, one of the better tire places I've been to. I've been met with a smile and a kind hello, been explained the how's and what's and when's and payed a fair price, in my opinion. The wait time has been acceptable and the free Wi-Fi has definitely made it easier to go through the wait time. On the phone and in person, Wesley has been the most helpful, professional and respectful person I've encountered in a car shop.

Came for an oil change. They broke some part. Claimed it happened because Toyota had put it on too tight. So they made me buy the new part. I am not happy about this. Better to go to the dealership that have to deal with this.

Today as I dropped off and waited for my partner to get there car back after being serviced I witness a Firestone employee verbally abuse a gentleman outside of the store. He used very vulgar and inappropriate language that shouldn t be said in front of anyone s mother. Now I understand that there are two sides of every story but is this how a customer-centric company runs their business? Are there no other policies in place to deal with rude customers other than an Firestone representative cussing them out? Who would want to get their car serviced here and potentially be on the other end of that.

Took all day long for a vehicle inspection. When I went at 5 PM, the inspection was still incomplete. They seem like they don t care about getting vehicle inspections done unless they get some money out of it. Not recommending this Firestone location.

I was planning on getting a front wheel alignment at 6pm today. I put the request online before 12pm today. What I didn't know is that the people in that shop have to confirm the request. Well, to the surprise of the gentleman I was speaking with, he, nor anyone else looked the rest of the day. The counter guy gave an excuse of "they only have 1 guy who can do the alignment", who was doing an alignment when I got there. and "they were short-handed". Mind you, when I was trying to schedule my appointment, I was trying to get one of 2 slots, 5pm or 6pm. The 5pm was taken, and confirmed, but my request was ignored. I get the confirmation piece with what they have going on, although they should cancel any appointments they cannot handle.

Slowest people I've ever seen. Zero respect for customers time. Usually 4 people here, usually 2 people doing nothing at front desk while one service manager sits in service area and the 4th is on a break from what I see. I've been here many times, but I'm at the point of really being pissed off. There is no sense of urgency whatsoever. After spending $800 on a set of tires, they told me they are not going to balance the tire because the wheel had "mud" on it, saying they are not a "detail shop". They said it would be an extra $100. I had just came from the car wash! To top it off, the bathroom has zero toilet paper or towels... Watched the manager go in here after me, use the washroom, NOT refill TP or towels, and a few minutes later shake someone's hand and handle their keys. Gross...

I hesitated to write this review because I've been a long-time customer of Firestone, although not at this specific location, but rather at other locations where I've lived. The noticeable pattern in the reviews section has proven true. My initial visit to this location was for my yearly inspection. Upon arrival, I was helped by an ex-military gentleman whose name I've forgotten. He was a super cool and nice dude. Despite arriving at 7 am with no one there before me, the wait time was surprisingly long. I thought to myself that I was glad to have found this place as they seemed cool.However, a few weeks later, I heard a rattling sound coming from the engine. I returned the car back to this location, but the ex-military gentleman wasn't at the front. An older gentleman, whom I believe was named Will, was there instead. Unfortunately, this older gentleman was extremely rude, brash, and showed no interest in being polite. I explained the issue I was having, and he quickly dismissed me in a rude and nasty manner. This triggered my frustration. As I continued explaining, he kept insisting I was mistaken about the engine noise and just kept cutting me off as I tried to speak. This escalated my frustration even further.Finally, he took my keys and asked me to wait. I waited in an empty store, as I'm an early bird. When he returned, he informed me that due to the unknown sound, it might take hours to identify the source. Despite having an appointment, he stated the main mechanic wasn't available. While I don't mind waiting, I do mind his disrespectful tone and manner. This gentleman lacked tact and spoke as though he was doing me a favor. This was my final trigger, and I met his gaze, demanding my keys back. I reclaimed my keys and left.Later, he called me to inform me they could work on my car at ten, which was three hours from my original time. Despite being angry, I needed the car checked for an upcoming trip. Upon returning to the shop, the same rude tone persisted. After inspecting the car, they informed me that the brakes, suspension, battery, and tires needed replacement. Additionally, the noise from the engine was due to a loose emblem. I questioned why these issues weren't noticed during the prior inspection just a few weeks ago. He deflected responsibility and shifted the blame to the mechanics. This series of events raised red flags, causing me significant frustration.I paid for the work to be done, but something felt off. Reading the reviews later, it all started making sense. Several days passed, and the rattling sound returned. I took the car back and requested they honor their warranty. One of the mechanics approached me with a confrontational attitude. Keep in mind that I've spent nearly 3k at this place on all the "new" issues they found just two days priors. He returned saying they found nothing, only for it to turn out that the seatbelt buckle hitting the middle column was causing the noise, which I noticed days later.To save yourself the trouble, stay far away from this questionable place. They are either lying and not doing the work during inspections. Are upselling you things you don't need. Or just making things up. Either way don't even think about coming to this place.P.S. Owners don't reply back to this reviews. Because you clearly are not addressing these issues.

So Skeptical! But these truly good guys have worn me down with honesty and being highly sensitive to my time (great communication). Cost/ paying "retail" was a concern, but they proved to be trustworthy there as well. You guys won me over!UPDATE - 6 years later and they are still who I turn to for everything for my 190k mile Chrysler 300. Full transparency, showing me the each part and price matching are why they are my guys. Thank you Jarrod and crew!

Come in for a front end alignment and made an appointment for 2pm. I get there at 145pm and hand keys over to counter guy named Will. At 245pm my truck is still sitting where i parked it and I am the only one in the lobby. A buddy of mine comes in to check on his vehicle he brought in an hour before I arrived. His vehicle was brought in to look at his tire pressure sensor coming on and to check for something in his tire. When he came in at 220pm he found they had not looked at his vehicle yet and told him they might not get to him until tomorrow. Thats when I knew my truck wasn t going to get serviced any time soon. From what I am looking at there are 8 bays and only four have cars in them. I ask Will for my keys and explain my appointment was at 2 and its 245. He says appointment times are only for your service time and next bay available. I ask him whats the purpose of appointment then. He tells me that every shop does this. No way does every shop do this as this isn t my first time taking a vehicle to have service done. I will never use Firestone on El Dorado again and beware that appointments doesn t necessarily mean it will be serviced at that time.

I went to this Firestone to have my tires changed out and they damaged my wheel. I showed the service adviser and he said to talk to the manager tomorrow ,and said that the damage was pretty bad. So I call the store manager and his schedule is the same as mine and won t work with me until I go to him, witch is pretty hard since he leaves work at 4 everyday. All in all horrible customer service

This Firestone location is the absolute BEST shop I have ever utilized. I own several vehicles from classic American muscle to European, as well diesel trucks. I can not say enough good things about the gentlemen at this location. They have helped me with numerous problems. Their integrity and knowledge has helped me immensely over the years and I will continue to go back. They have my loyalty and trust. From the front office to the shop, hands down some of the best people I have encountered. So I've been going to the Allen location off of McDermott and the Plano location off of Legacy & Coit for years. We moved to McKinney a year ago and it was gone for a Allignment. Spoke with Gene on the phone who was friendly and courteous. Came in, and the great customer service continued! Our Bimmer was completed in a reasonable time and they happen to have some goodies (don't know for how long so don't expect it forever!). The waiting area is clean and welcoming. Excellent Job guys! Our car broke down early last week and we limped it over to this Firestone for a diagnostic. They got the diagnostic done in a day and the problem was more severe than we expected. Unlike other shops I've been to in the past, the mechanics here were very upfront about the problems and presented us several options at different price points to get the car workable for us (again, not something I've had at other shops). It was a very encouraging experience and I will probably come back here if I have car troubles again in the future.

Got scammed at this location! I usually have my work done at a different Firestone location in McKinney, however their technician that does state inspections was out for the day, so I had to come to this location. Unfortunately, I'm going to echo my dissatisfaction with this location as similar to other reviews. My interaction was with a front desk person, I believe his name was Craig. Came in mid-November for a state inspection. Received a call from him saying that I had to have my center high mount brake light bulb replaced in order for my vehicle to pass inspection. He said it will take 30 minutes to replace the bulb and the cost would be $93. He made it sound like this would be a complicated repair. I was going out of town and needed to get the inspection done quickly and didn't have the time to do it myself. I reluctantly said to replace it. According to the timestamps on my call log, 8 minutes elapsed when he called back saying it was done. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I asked why I'm being charged for 30 minutes when clearly it took them less than 8 minutes to do the repair. He laughed and said there's nothing he can do about it because that's what the computer says, and he's not going to "penalize" his technicians just because they fixed it faster. I'm pretty sure the technicians are paid on an hourly basis.Here's the worst part of the story. After paying for the repair, he went to the back and I heard him laughing and telling his co-workers, "I won that one". No Craig, you didn't win anything. Your arrogance and shady behavior lost a customer who brings his vehicles to Firestone for repair. You may have lost other potential customers that actually pay attention to these reviews. If you were my employee, I would show you the front door for treating customers this way.I don't know if this location is a franchise or corporate owned. If it is franchise, then I really question the ethics of the ownership for keeping these people around (as mentioned in other reviews) or the ethics of the management here. Absolutely will never come back to this location and recommend anyone reading this review to visit a different Firestone with better management or maybe a different repair shop altogether.As for Firestone, please don't bother with the same canned response you give on the other negative reviews. Please do something about your staff and their unethical behavior.

Just left Firestone and it was an awesome experience! The service manager, Jason rendered excellent customer service. I needed an inspection and it was my first time having one completed on my car and he was very knowledgeable and helped made the process so smooth and comfortable. I will definitely come back to this store for all future auto needs!

They take to long and they tax to much go to another auto shop my cars been in the shop since Monday still not done. Get mechanics who can get it done quicker for better pricing don t waste your time going here. I wouldn t recommend this auto shop to anyone

Not recommend this store. Asked for a tire quote and they provided a list with over $3k estimate and charged for an alignment life time for over $200 without confirmation. Later they fixed the tire with $30, I don t understand if it can be fixed with $30, why give me a list of $3k items to fix.

Location on El Dorado. I set an appointment for 1pm for an alignment and tire rotation. Upon arrival, I was asked when I needed my truck back, which struck me as odd because I had an appointment for 1pm. I said, When you re done? The gentleman at the counter laughed and said okay.I never received a call or any kind of communication until I called the shop close to 6pm. The guy said they were finishing up my truck. 5 hours after my appointment time.What is the purpose of an appointment?When I get back to the shop about 45 minutes later, they re still not done. I am told the tech is having issues with my truck because it is four wheel drive. I am asked if I can bring my truck back the next day for the alignment.So an appointment at 1pm for an alignment, am asked five hours later if I can bring the truck back the next day. He said they got the tires rotated but would not charge me for the alignment. You didn t do the alignment!I said give me my key, and left.My truck was way out of alignment, much worse than before I took the truck in. Steering wheel is way off center.Place is a joke.Service: Wheel alignment

Had prompt and professional service on my car at this location. Jason was my service manager and he was attentive and responsive to my needs and questions. His team, though clearly busy, found time to fit the repairs to my car for the very same day! Jason was also helpful in pointing out recommended services that my car needed but were not urgent. I will gladly return my car for services by Jason and his team in the future!
