The experience could not have been any better!!!! We arrived. Parked. Started walking to the door and before we reached the door, Alan came outside and greeted us. I told him I had a blowout, was riding on a spare and from out of town. He checked all of my tires and also said I needed not only one new tire but two new tires. I did not question him because I thought I needed the other tire replaced anyway. We were in a hurry as we wanted to enjoy our day in Dallas and not spend it all day at a tire shop. He said I can have it done in 45 minutes. I asked if I could hug him. And he held his arms out. I gave him a side hug and was so grateful for such good news. He quoted me a price. I agreed to it and he had the team begin. He came to the waiting room halfway through the process and informed me that they were halfway done . We were out of there in 25 minutes and back to the hotel before 9:00. The friendliness and service was excellent. Thank you for getting us back on the road!!! Thank you, Alan, for your kindness and excellent service.

I live near Greenville and usually go to my local store. Which I love. Unfortunately, I had the unpleasant experience of going to this McKinney store a few weeks ago to get some new tires. First of all, it took them over 4 hours to put on 2 tires. But the topper was when the manager came to me and informed me that I needed new lug nuts, because mine were damaged . I asked how much and was floored when he told me it would be $40 to replace them. I declined and he responded with, the next person may not be able to get them off . The reason I m just now posting this review is because I just had to take my tires off and was shocked when I discovered there was absolutely nothing wrong with the lug nuts. I took them off myself and had absolutely no problems whatsoever getting them off. This place is crooked as hell and I will never be going back to this (or any other) store in the McKinney area. I like Discount Tire but this location is run by crooks!

Alan and Chris were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Had me in and out in 35 min for new tires. I have purchased a few sets of tires from this location and they re always consistent.

I had a nail in my tire the other day went there to have him take a look at it and have him patched up they did an excellent job patching the tire but the things I did not like is that I arrived before 12:30 because the past job was free because they were busy whoever put my order in change my arrival time to 1:39 my patch job did not get done until almost 3:00. I've been a member of the discount tire family and a customer for a very long time and that is poor customer service excellence...

Always the best. The only place I go for my tire changes for personal and business. There s no sense in shopping around. I do the road hazard warranty on everything. These guys are the pros and always do it right. I have used this facility exclusively for nearly 15 years. I was just thinking about how great the service was that I received there yesterday and figured I d hop online and drop a review.

I needed 2 new tires, went to their website, ordered and paid for the tires and scheduled the appointment for the most convenient day for me. I showed up for my appointment exactly on time and walked in to check in. I had never been to this location and I maybe purchased tires from Discount Tires at some point in the last 20 years but don't recall. Anyway, I saw about 8 other customers waiting and one person ahead of me in line. I was shocked when someone came out from the back to check me in instead of having me wait. I know this sounds like a silly thing but how many times have you been in a long line and wondered why they don't have more people to assist? This wasn't even a long line and I wasn't in a hurry so right off the bat I felt good about this place. My appointment was for 8:15, around 8:20 after they had taken my car back for the tire replacement they came back out and a technician showed me the lugnuts on my wheels and how they were swollen and therefore he was recommending replacement. They replaced all the lugnuts on all the wheels, not just for the two tires I purchased and I was out the door by 8:39. In less than 45 minutes. This location was professional, efficient, and customer focused. I have 4 vehicles and will be purchasing all my tires from here from now on.

These guys are just excellent. Walked in for tire rotation, they were busy but still found a way to pull my truck in to rotate immediately. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. They have a Can-Do attitude which is why I only buy my tires from Discount Tire!

Well this is the last time I'm using Discount. Flat out refused to rotate my tires because of (wear). Showed him not 1 tire was below legal specs. Said he didn't care. So I left. Trash establishment.

As of this writing, I've been sitting here in the business two and a half hours, half an hour beyond the estimated completion getting a warranty tire repair, and my truck has not been touched. Apparently repeat customers with issues are not a priority, and possibly are just completely ignored. Not happy.Update: 20 minutes later, still untouched, while 7 people that got here after me are already out the door, and they were walk insSecond update: the appointment that was supposed to take an hour and a half took four, and here I am six hours later at a different location, expecting a 4 hour wait, because the McKinney store didn't fix it the first time. These guys at the 121 Plano store are doing what they can, but I'm beyond pissed.Summation: the 121 and Custer location really went above and beyond fixing my problem. Elevating overall review to 3 stars.

Since I first came to Texas in 1990, Discount, tire has been the best place for tires and tire repair. Their service is above their competitors. What really sold me was their free flat repair when I was traveling to College Station in the mid 90s. Fast forward to 2023 and they still offer some of the best service in the industry. Keep up what you doing.

We took our car to this Discount Tire location because of an air pressure issue today. The staff was professional and courteous - they were able to find a nail in the tire and repaired it for FREE. Our repair was done in an hour (perhaps since we made an appointment it allowed for better time management). We greatly appreciate their help with our tire issue. We will be going back for our future tire needs. Thank you.

Staff are very friendly and are working really hard. That is evident. Everybody is busy doing visibly important things. BUT, they are understaffed and the parking lot is HORRIBLE. Just awful. Also filled with smoothbrains who do not know how to park their car with courtesy. Staff even have to waste time moving cars around And waiting for others to move, just so they can pull a vehicle into the bay to do work on it. This is NOT their fault. I feel like the quality of service is betrayed by the physical location itself, in spite of the excellent and hardworking staff. Can corporate do anything to help parking/congestion? Place is always busy so revenue should not be an issue.

A big shoutout to the Discount Tire team. Stopped in yesterday to get a blown tire replaced. Sales Rep asked whether I had bought them there and had Road Hazzard. I had no idea, but he checked the system using my cell # and yep I had both. So it cost me a total of $ 16 bucks. The money I saved was based on the honesty and checking of a good guy. Everything went fine, and I'll always remember why I choose Discount

This Discount Tire store should be the model for every tire store. Excellent appointment scheduling, timely updates, and professional service all the way through. I'll never buy tires from anywhere else. I'm a Discount Tire customer for life!!!

Most discount tire shops are amazing places to shop at with amazing staff....But this location I will never be coming back to! Worst customer service! They are also so unorganized and employees are all over the place!I will not ever be coming back to this location!!If you want a better time and customer service definitely recommend a different location but not this one......Alan the " manager" - is super Rude and unprofessional..... I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone! Save your self the time and hassle and go to a better location!( I should have read other customers reviews before coming here.... Everyone has complained about the same thing)

If you come here, the person you'll DEFINITELY want to see is LORENZO! This guy goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for you and he's also SUPER nice. Do yourself a favor and trust me because I'm very picky when it comes to customer service hospitality (Yes, I've worked in customer service hospitality before and know how it should be done) LORENZO is THEE guy to go see. On a scale of 5 starts, Lorenzo is a 10!

The employees are always courteous and helpful. Love that they offer free tire repair. They even replaced the broken valve stems for free on my work vehicle last year that another company screwed up. Competitive pricing on tires. Definitely recommend Discount Tire for professional tire services.

An establishment that does right by their customers! Made 3 visits in past week for the same tire I ve been pushing back replacing. Each time they ve looked out for my safety over their convince. Whether it be 8am rushing to work or 6pm staying late to make sure i m taking care of either by just putting air in or finally replacing it. Very appreciate of manager Angel and his staff! Thank you guys.

Never have I ever waited longer in any establishment than discount tire. I didn t even have a car. 4 rims that needed new tires. $750. Dropped off by 1pm. Told they d be done same day. 5pm and I m staring at the rims on the garage floor right where I left them. Embarrassment of a business. Happy to sell you anything but once you pay, good luck.

I see many people complaining well let me tell you about how my experience went, I was trying to change my tire for almost an one hour after it blew on me! I got to discount tire and a employee was right there waiting for me I would say with a smile but well you know he had a mask because COVID, he took care of me he helped me, he even help me to get everything together and I was out! Yes there was people but let me tell you! If you have an emergency I would recommend them! I can't talk about other discount tires because I just come to this one it was a great experience

I had a blow out the other day and I knew I was in need of some new tires. After I got off the phone with the wrecker company they towed my truck to discount tire. I called this location and spoke to Marcos and told him about my situation. They had three tires of KO2 s 285 60 20 in stock. But he told me to give him a few minutes to see if he could find a fourth for me so I didn t have to wait longer. In about three minutes he called me back and told me he found the fourth tire I needed. From the time I had a blowout to the time the wrecker dropped off the truck I had a turnaround time of 2 1/2 hours. And I know these guys contributed greatly to hiw fast I got my truck back that afternoon. I am a professional mobile auto detailer and my vehicle is my life source for work. So thank you to all these motivators and hard workers that were able to get me back up and running.

This past Saturday I noticed my tire was low. The sensor was reading at 15 psi and it should be around 33 psi for my tires. My husband and I took it immediately to discount tire where we had purchased my tires along with the warranty about 6 months ago. It was very busy and we were told it would be about a 2 1/2 hour wait but that they would text us to let us know when my car was ready. We left and about an hour later we received a text informing us that my car was ready to be picked up. When I arrived I was told that there were no holes or any screws, etc, in my tire. They stated that there was a little build up on my tire that could sometimes cause the tire to separate and leak air. I got about half way home and my tire pressure sensor went off and read that my tire was at 18 psi and the next morning (Sunday) I woke up to a flat tire. My husband removed the tire and there clear as day was a giant screw in my tire! There is absolutely no way that it could have been missed if someone at discount tire had actually looked at my tire. My husband took the tire up to discount tire this morning and was told by an employee "Oh well whoever it was must have looked at the wrong tire or didn't even bother looking at my tire at all". They ended up patching my tire and told my husband that he would pass the information on to the manager. I understand that it was busy there on Saturday but to completely disregard a customer and send them away with a giant screw still in my tire is completely unacceptable and dangerous!

Quality tires and great customer service. I ve only used 2 other places in the last 15 years and no one has it down as seamlessly or well priced as discount. Also had my wheels resurfaced and all the whoops, curb check disappeared. Felt like a new car!
