Tried to overcharge me for just a throttle body cleaning; which I thought was odd, because I had just inspected the throttle body and it wasn't even dirty. Two days later the same problem continued, but I don't want to take it back here after they tried to cheat me out of more money. Well at least when I confronted the mechanic about the price they significantly lowered the price; seems like they knew they were overcharging me.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They are scammers I don't understand why they have so many positive reviews. Reason is that they try to take advantage from people. That is not okay. They over charged us for a work that we did not even asked for, and it was previously done. If you are a female, or look young BE EXTRA CAREFULLY, ask for quotes from other establishments because he tents to charge more than 300% than the average pricing and be prepared for "works" that you did not ask for.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

These guys are experts! I've been there for two different problems and three different times and I will never take my vehicles anywhere else for electrical problems. I'm a 60 year old single female but I'm also pretty savvy. As noted by others it's not a big fancy building (in fact it looks sketchy) and hard to reach by phone, but if you want a job done (big or small, simple or complicated) they will get to it and there's no question it will be professional Accurate and expedient. As noted by others the building isn't fancy and pretty and I can't seem to ever reach them by phone either. I took my truck to have the electric seats replaced after I messed them up. I couldn't find them locally, and getting them from the dealership was cost prohibited. I found a set and had them shipped from Arizona. It took me a while to find a shop that could help me. An acquaintance told me about Oscar's. I went, told them my problem, and they said they could help me. I was worried because I couldn't find the wiring harness, which I felt was going to be needed. The electrician not to worry that they would make it work, and they did. Other electricians had said they needed it. They have all the equipment needed to diagnose the problem. They don't guess. They check wiring skematics and use the appropriate diagnostic computers to pinpoint the problem. Their expertise makes a difficult job seem easy. As for price, I think they charged a reasonable amount. They also worked fairly quickly. I highly recommend them for all your auto electrical needs.

Does a great job! I always recommend him. My mom drove from Brownsville to him to get her jeep fixed.. no one could get it done but him.

Very impressed with my visit. Employees are super friendly and honest. Got a diagnosis over the phone just by explaining the issue they knew exactly what part I needed so I took it in and got out a few hours later. Prices are very reasonable as well highly recommend for electrical issues on your car.

Every time I have had an issue with my vehicle Oscar has found it and fixed it at a very reasonable price. I have also sent him my friends and family who also have nothing but positive things to say about this shop and the owner. Some of my family have even had minor repairs done for free because of this generous man. I would gladly recommend this shop to anyone who needs auto repairs of any kind.

Terrible customer service. I was referred to this place of business by an employee of an auto zone. I called the place and there was no answer or recording for hours of operation. The web listing doesn t even show hours of operation. I drove there and arrived at about 6:45 and had to ask several times if this was Oscars Auto Electric because there was no business sign either. They didn t hear me both times or they don t speak to possible customers after hours of operation. A gray bearded man who I can only assume was Oscar of oscars auto electric finally told me he couldn t help me because it s closed. Very rude. Very ghetto. Don t waste your time here.

My dad's shop been here for years, even before I was born. I'm 23 now, he sometimes may be busy with all the cars he has. Just give him some time and I'm assuring you he will get you up and running with a reasonable price.

I had to pass my suv inspection did not pass due to some electric issues I was recommended to take my suv to Oscar Auto Electric he found the problem fast and took care of the issue .Thank You Sir!!!

Fixed my aunt's AC told her it was a small leak on valve but that it would be ok she used it for a week and it started smoking on fire almost 200dls down the drain thanks alot

These guys have been there for over 15 yrs... master car electricians is the only way to put it... they ain't that cheap though, but they will fix any electrical issue in your car.
