Mr. Garrett saved me a bunch of money when my Hyundai broke down right off the highway. He was very professional and gave me detailed instructions. He has taken much care with my other vehicle and I trust him and his staff. Family has taken their cars to him and they were treated with the same respect, professionalism and quick service. He is definitely where you want to go to get your car work done if you're in East Texas.

Mr. Garrett is a blessing to say the least! Today, myself and my passengers were having issues with our vehicle overheating. We went to his shop while it was closed and he fixed our truck within an hour. He was engaging while still being productive. What is even more amazing is that he was also teaching his son along the way! We spoke about the Lord and the experience was overall very pleasant and almost fun. Big ups to Garrett's Automotive!

Garret was super helpful and seemed trustworthy. I had a lump in my tire and pulled into his shop, he rode with me, identified the lump, and showed me another shop he would recommend to go to to get it fixed and even called Firestone telling them I was coming. All of this at no cost. Highly recommend!

This guy is rude talked to me like I was his child when all I did was ask him something about my car. Dude literally told me I was wasting his time and I m sitting here going do you talk to your customers like that? I m reading his reviews and obviously I m not the only one. Wanted to charge me 600 dollars for a tune up and that wasn t the issue it was a faulty fuel pump. I m glad I saw him for who he really was and didn t let him charge me for something that would fix nothing. If you want your car fixed take it to J/L automotive. They have awesome service and they ll do the job right the first time

My son was on his way to Oklahoma when his 2015 Chevy p/u broke down. Mr Garret had his friend tow it 6 miles. Never touched the vehicle told us the motor was blown and it would cost 28000 to put a new one. Then he told my son he found another for 8000 but wanted to add another 2000 just for the cost of the motor. Don't go there . He is a rip off and should be ashamed. Seems like he only has issues with a certain group of people.Service: Auto maintenance

This guy is the biggest scam I ve ever seen I will never take a vehicle back here and I advise everyone to stay away from this guy. The paper I signed for a diagnostic says $135 and he tried to charge me $220. Then whenever I brought up the issue he became really rude and yelled at me and tried to charge me for other parts that were used on a different vehicle that wasn t mine. He s a scam and a liar. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!

I have used Mr. Ronald Garrett's automotive expertise for I know about 20 years. Nothing but a great genuine guy. My Dad first introduced me to Mr. Ronald Garrett when I was growing up and Mr. Garrett was operating out of a little shop on US 80. He performs great work for me every time I need him. I d call to to see how much it would cost to check my transmission and Garrett was just so rude on how he was talking to me. He sounded like I was stupid and didn t understand what he was saying. I would not recommend on taking your car to this place.

TO: Rosemary LULU, I f the transmission job was so bad, why did you not bring in back or have it us to pick it up. We give 12 months warranty on labor and parts with unlimited mileage. God is a wonderful God. He see and know all. If you had bad service with us please get in touch with us.

We were from out of town and a barrel race in Marshall. On our way there the air condition in our truck went out, this gentlemen helped us Tremendously and was so sweet with us not being from around there! My truck broke down in town, he helped me make it the most fast and secure fix, helped me with transporting me and my truck, was fixed on the time frame he gave me to continue my trip and checked on me after to see if I didnt have any more troubles on the road. Never had I gone to a mechanic that sees an issue and not let you know until a major issue happens. The time you close, I forgot, none of that is an excuse. Even Wal-Mart tell you what they see even with a standard oil change. Seeing issue does not mean you are to investigate it. Seeing an issue means letting a customer know rather than when something comes up and saying I saw this but it wasn't my job to investigate to see why. I didn't know whatever occurred would happen.

Had my car for 2 months. Said that it was an engine problem it changed water pump and charged me over $2400 and didn t put struts back properly. Also refused to pay the cost to have it fixed. This man did a nasty job on my truck charge 2500 for Rebuilt my transmission and he did not do it he buy a used transmission in a auto salvage it is not good its leaking fluid for all seal and he doesnt want to refund us the money but I believe in God in his justice and i see one day if you be acting like that with people steeling their money doing bad business God is going on you

Don't take your car or anything there I took my pickup there and it had overdrive and now it Don't he kept it for 2 months for 1 right side head wires we're down in back for no reason..he took my parts off of my pickup to put on his...don't take your cars to him hwy robbery
