While traveling for a work assignment, with my infant in tow, I had a blow out near Marshall. My destination was 3 hours east, it was 12pm, & I had no intentions of rolling down I-20 on a donut. We stayed in Marshall for the night in hopes of getting a tire replacement in the morning. I arrived at Firestone before lunch & they were absolutely slammed. I was worried that they wouldn t have the capacity to fit me in. I explained my situation and Gavin reassured me that they could & would help me. He set reasonable expectations with me regarding my wait time and offered to give me a call when it was my turn instead of having to wait there the whole time with a fussy, sleepy baby. He called me to come back much sooner than my expected wait time & got to work. He handled everything with my fleet company while I set up camp in the lobby with my kiddo. I had a drink spill while dealing with my son, which is when Nate stepped in to help me clean it up. I was so embarrassed but he was so very kind about it. They both let me vent about my travel woes and made small talk with me & the baby that put me at ease. They got us all fixed up & back on the road in no time. Getting my tire changed was a life saver but it s not what made my experience here fantastic. It was the friendly and personable customer experience that Gavin & Nate provided. They willingly went the extra mile to help a stranger navigate a mini crisis and made her feel not so alone in the world in that moment. It s the littlest things that make the biggest impacts. Thank y all so much for being there for us today.

They explained everything that was done to my vehicle. Also I was informed about everything that was wrong with my vehicle. Even got a quote about how much it would cost to fix the problem.

I went in to have a heater core line replaced. And all they did was to cut the end of the hose that was leaking. And then they just slipped it back on and put a cclamp on it. I wanting a new line. They said the line would cost more from the dealer. Which is true. But I've already priced the line at Autozone for $45.00. They just made an easy $136.00 for not replacing it with a new line. Firestone is very shady. In the pictures below, it's the line next to the oil and transmission oil dipstick. Please don't get car repaired there.

No... Mariah, these people were amazing.. the only situation that occurred was that I wasn't announced of my car being finished & informed of a occurrence that could happen with one of my tires.. but the Manger was AWESOME. HE took great care of explaining problem and the procedure to eliminate the problems.

I went in for brake service and they were able to take care of my vehicle immediately. I went in again a little over a year later because my steering wheel was shaking when I drove. The manager was very kind and informed me that my tires might need rebalancing. He took the car back and balanced the tires and rotated them, and for good measure, he gave me a wheel alignment. I had previously purchased the lifetime alignment. I felt very comfortable trusting them to take care of my car. I am back on the road, and the vibration is gone.

This Firestone is closest to me and I like going with name brands because I travel a lot with my car and need a provider nation wide in case. Bottom line , this branch is EXTREMELY inefficient and untrained. I will not go into the time they couldn't change spark plugs but only elaborate on the latest. I had bought a brand new set of tires 3 months prior. A week ago I started getting a leak from one. I was on the road and thought I picked up a nail, so I brought to a tire shop that pulled it, soaked it , soaped it but could not find the leak. I aired up and went on my way. Next morning. Flat tire. Aired it up drove the 5 hour drive home knowing I'd get to the firestone in time for them to diagnose or replace. WRONG. The guy said matter-of-factly , sorry , our machine is down and we can't change the tire. I said , you don't have a jack?? I do. Oh we have a jack , but no way to get the tire off the rim. SERIOUSLY?!? I'm old school enough that I've taken a tire off a rim manually, but this is supposed to be a TIRE SHOP. I rolled my eyes and left. I first thought , well I'll go down to the local owned tire guy , have Firestone put my spare on , take the other tire to get unmounted for them , bring it back to them , blah blah ,... no. Suffice to say, I'm done with them.

We had trouble with a rental car. Lots of trouble with Thrifty. Firestone took care of us. They may or may not get paid through Thrifty but they was more in tune to get us back on the road as soon as possible. Christopher and Luis were a lot of help and we just loved them. Thanks to them we were back on the road in no time. Went down the road from them and experienced the most beautiful Court House. Marshall was a very nice town. Even withal thetrouble with the car..

I just got myself a car last month and decided to take my car to Firestone to get a oil change and new tires. When I went there Justin the store manager in Marshall Texas was nicest guy that I d met. He d took his time and answer all my question that needed answer and told me how long it will take for him to get to my car. So waited in the waiting area until it was time for him to get to my car and when he did he took his time and thoroughly inspected my car, change oil and etc. When he got finished he told me he didn t have the kind tires that I have on my car in stock but he told me that he had to order them and he will call me when they get deliver to store in which he did. Also he gave me a heads up about my battery that it was still good since I can still crank up the car without hesitation but soon I will going to need buy another one and he didn t try to force me to buy battery like other mechanics do just make a quick buck. When it s time for another oil change or when my inspection sticker is up I will be returning my car back to him.

Stopped in this morning to get 2 new tires and the manager could not have been more rude if he tried. I've had a lot of work done there before that manager was there and always received excellent service. No plans to go back until they get a new manager.

Lewis was absolutely spectacular. There wasnt a technician available but he still took out the time to test my battery and alternator. I thought I was going to have to spend srveral hubdred dollars for service. There was no charge. He identified the problem, and I was back on the road in 15 minutes or less!!! Gr job! Excellent customer service!

I arrived at 8:30 for an alignment. All the spots in the parking lot and garage were full. Upon check in, I was told it would be awhile since it was busy. I asked how long and he refused to commit to a time. I sat outside and watched them pull a truck into the alignment spot and park it. I continued waiting for 2 hours watching everyone else leave while the truck ahead was untouched. I checked again and was told "it's one truck ahead of you, we're moving as fast as we can." Again he refused to commit to a time. I waited another hour until someone came in asking about their trucks' alignment. Then they started on the one ahead of mine. Apparently they dropped it off that morning and Firestone decided to prioritize the customers who waited on site until they returned (at my expense). After a total of 4 hours of waiting, they finally got to mine. I don't appreciate getting the run around. Don't go here if you want your time respected.

Called them 10 minutes before closing with a tire leaking. I had to drive to Dallas the next day, so was urgent to get tire fixed. The guy waited after closing time for me to get there. They were able to patch my tire up and send me on my way. Thank you

I just had Ball joints and tie rods and control arms put on my sons truck 3 days ago from another shop and sent him to Firestone to get alignment. Few minutes late they came out and told him it's going to be $3000 because they have to replace the Ball joints and tie rods. Just because he was a 17 year old kid they tried to take a advantage of him. Not good for buisness

This place makes themselves foolish. A 3hr oil change, with no customers. I have to address someone to have any customer service. And the store manager, Justin Hecox, can manage absolutely nothing. Can t manage customer care. Can t manage a phone call. Can t manage his employees. Can t manage his appearance.A poor branding on Firestone s company.

I made an appointment for 1:00 Friday. When I got there I was told no one was available and "sorry". Probably shouldn't use an online booking system if you don't honor appointments. Also, if anyone cares, there is no possibility of social distancing if you're going to wait in the waiting area.

Rating 1 star because it won't let me rate 0. Had my wife take our daily driver here for an alignment, and i was expecting her to be there about an hour and spend maybe 70 bucks. Nope 20 minutes and 104 dollars later my car still pulls to the left tire pressure is good ball joints good tie rods not cracked. Dude tells my wife oh your tires are fine everythings in "specs". (Anyone who has done/recieved an alignment it takes about 45-65min) When she asked for a refund because the job obviously wasnt done. He gave her the refund and said that it wouldnt matter who we took it to if the tires are the problem. TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO WRAYS AUTO BESIDE NAPA. Got there and found it an alignment was 54.99 and they also where able to find a serious issue underlying the pull left. The belt in my driver side tire was splitting and firestone was just gonna let me go on about my day ripping me off and trying to kill someone. This place is greedy and basically takes advantage of any sorry sap that goes in. I will never do anything with any firestone again.

We needed a valve stem replaced on our horse trailer. We called ahead of time and we were told they would be able to do it. When we arrived they said they would not replace the valve stem because they would be held liable for the tire. These are brand new tires. They are not responsible for them.

The manager, Justin Hecox, was not very friendly at all. I made myself some coffee on their Keurig machine, there was only 1 styrofoam cup. I chose the middle size cup as I usually do and the coffee ended up filling it up to the rim. I tried to gently pick it up attempting to empty some out and it spilled onto my hand burning me. I asked him for some paper towels and he chewed me out, stating I should've only chose the small size, never ask me if my hand was alright. He should not be in a job that deals with customers. Period.

I had a small tractor tire that needed air and the manager told me he couldn t work on it because they don t work on tractor tires. Last time I checked Firestone is one of the biggest manufacturers of tractor tires! It s crazy that they make the tires but they don t work in them. So I took my tire the next shop and they fixed it for me.

After getting brake services, new pads & rotors. Rear of vehicle making loud tapping sound and shimmering. Many trips back to Firestone with no results. Told to leave it all day for them to research it. Was told they replaced the caliper when they only replaced the caliper pins for no apparent reason. Problem got worse. Mgr was shocked that they couldn t find the problem. Was then told to leave it with them so they could research it. Not spending another whole day off to sit there while they scratch their heads. Took it to main competitor in Longview. Problem was noticed immediately. Screws in rotor placed in wrong holes causing them to be raised rather than sunk or at least flush. That caused the tapping noise. Caliper that was supposedly replaced brand new was placed on pads incorrectly resulting in the caliper piston to be damaged as if you would try to take a drill to it. The new rotors, one shimmies causing an imbalance when braking resulting in uneven wear on brake pads. I got to know these people and felt that I could trust them. It was much more convenient to go there than to drive to Longview, but it cost me way too much. Saving money in Longview without the laundry list of things that need to be replaced. I ll further review the competitor in a different review post. Sorry I had to change my review to this, but I can no longer trust them.
