We called Express Truck Service, LLC. for a tire call, We were in Marshall TX, so not far from their home office. It took almost 2.5 hrs. for the "technician" to finally arrive on site(after being told 30 min to an hour by Kim). So "technician" finally shows up and looks at tire and says he would have to take tire and he would be back asap. The "technician" then pulls a automotive hand pump jack out and jacks the loaded trailer (almost 48,000lbs-50,000lbs) and pulls tire and leaves. Another 2 hrs. goes by and they have our tire, so were dead in the water at this point. He finally shows back up with a different tire (new one because ours was not fixable\which was fine). The "technician" then puts the tire on with a electric impact(not the air pneumatic style that professionals use). So at this point everything seems fine. And although sloppy service, we were buttoned up and getting ready to roll again. The lady Kim calls with price of tire and service call out fee and miles and labor rate, it came to almost $800+, I wasn't very happy and felt like we were taken advantage of, I expressed this matter(of why did he have to leave site and etc...2hrs) and she changed price to $700..I happily paid my bill and we were back on the road......242 miles later...the wheel becomes loose and starts wallowing out our hub and breaking lug studs, and looses 2 lug nuts. Now I am no scientist or engineer major but it all comes back to lack of proper tools and equipment for the job. I contacted Express Truck Service (Kim) about this misfortunate situation, and asked her civilly if there was anything she could do to help us. She tries pushing me off on to a website to find a different service company. At this point im very calm and understanding, but she denies any responsibility for her company or technicians lack of proper tools for the job. So she is telling me its not her fault, bla, bla, bla... so I start calling nearby shops(4 to be exact) to see if anyone can help us out. I explain to them what happened and the common question was "who did the mounting of the tire/wheel?", I indulge them with who and by no surprise I was told to get back with them to see if they would help with the damages, or not to use them again, or they were a fly by night operation and that was not a surprise to them....so back to the civil matter, I tried for 5 days to resolve the matter and even offered if she would cover %50 of the parts($378.22 so half was $189.11) I would cover the other half and labor, just to be a nice guy and repay the favor as she did with the initial tire bill. But unfortunately she has not responded and I've given here almost a week to make it right. I felt compelled to share our experience because EVERYONE deserves to know what kind of business they are dealing with. I am sure they are great people but this could have killed someone or caused a bad accident. And for the record, the driver of the truck hasn't had any issues with wheels or lugs coming loose in the past. This wasn't as simple as a mechanical failure this boiled down to a shade tree mechanic trying to do a professionals job, without the proper equipment!!!!!!! I'm also trying to upload the pics of damage so you can clearly see what happened. This is not a personal matter this is business, and very well could of hurt someone!!!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!! CALLED THEM TO COME OUT AND CHANGE A TIRE ON A CARGO TRAILER AND WAS CHARGED 383$!! THEY TOOK MY RIM AND LEFT FOR TWO HOURS WITH IT AND BILL SHOWS TIRE SHOP WAS 8 MILES AWAY SO SHOULD HAVE NEVER TAKEN 2 HOURS TO GET A TIRE AND GET BACK!! ALSO SHOWED UP WITHOUT THE TOOLS THEY NEEDED SO HAD TO GO BACK TO THEIR SHOP AND GET MORE TOOLS AND I GOT CHARGED FOR THIS IN THAT TWO HOUR LABOR CHARGE!!!!!!! COMPLETE RIP OFF NOT TO MENTION THEY CHARGED A SERVICE CALL OUT WHICH I GET THAT BUT TO CHARGE AN EXTRA 265$ ON TOP OF THE 94$ TIRE IS COMPLETE THEFT SEEING AS HOW IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER TAKEN 2 HOURS TO GO 8 MILES GET A TIRE AND COME BACK.
