Shawn is amazing!!! He was very direct and upfront with me. He was extremely honest. I explained my situation to him, and he worked with me to get repairs done within my budget. He did great work. The price was reasonable. He was also able to accommodate me within the time that I needed.I've come across shady mechanics before, and this was the exact opposite. He also gave me a great referral for an inspection. He came recommended by a friend, and I'm glad I came. I have now found a place where I feel comfortable bringing my bike. Shawn worked hard, and successfully earned me as a loyal client. I've already referred him to a few friends. If I could give home more than 5 stars, I would. Out of 5 stars, if give him 8Thank you for the amazing work, and you'll see me in the future for other work. Thanks again

I've done business with a lot of motorcycle shops during 40 years of riding and Shawn's Cycle Shop ranks in my all time top 5. I'm from out of town and needed a front tire replaced. He had the brand I wanted at a competitive price and had it mounted and me back on the road within 45 minutes. Top-notch work and and an awesome personality. I will be bringing all my motorcycles back to Shawn's. update: I have been back twice again since my original review and am still extremely pleased with his pricing and work. 140 mile round trip for me each time but well worth it!Service: Tires

Shawn is great. He took my bike after I let it sit around for two years and got it running wonderfully. He was very thorough and requested I let him know if I have any more issues. It s been two weeks and it s still running like I have been giving it the TLC it deserved the whole time. Thanks Shawn!

Just went today to Shawn s for the first time! Picked up the phone and told me no problem and did a last minute tire mount for me! No one around has wanted to mount motorcycle tires but Shawn got it done! Super clean work! Super reasonable! Wouldn t let me by lunch but I got to leave a tip! Thanks for being open on a Saturday so we can still get some work done on our toys. Appreciate you!

Shawn's an awesome and honest guy that knows motorcycles well. His other shop mechanic is super friendly and both are very good with all types of bikes. Have handled everything from my 06 rebel to 17 CBR and my new '19 Rebel. Highly recommend and they're fast with their work!

I blew a tire at Hidden Falls. Not being from this area I googled bike repair shops and multiple came up but Shawn s Cycle Shop stuck out and glad it did. He had exactly what I needed and even made the time to install the tube for me at a great price for the tube and install. He does not price gouge on parts or labor like some small shops. After speaking with him for awhile about several bikes I have of different makes I am convinced he is very knowledgeable. I live 2.5 hrs from Marble Falls but will drive the 5 hr round trip to take my dirt bikes and 4wheeler to him when I need repairs. Highly impressed with the service he provided, his knowledge, and his willingness to take time out of his day to talk bikes with my son and me.Service: Tires

I had 2 of my motorcycles worked on by Shawn. He did a fantastic job. Although one of the bikes had some additional problems a few weeks down, Shawn was generous enough to help me get the bike back on the road at a fraction of the cost and did more than he needed to which I appreciate very much. He is very skilled and talented in what he does. He is also very honest and reasonable with his prices and will not take advantage of you like some of the other local shops. He was also VERY efficient with his time and got my bikes back to me in no time!! I will be bringing my motorcycles back to him in the future and will recommend all my riding buddies to him. Fantastic service! My 1993 HD Low Rider had several problems that were above my pay grade and Shawn solved all of them! He even went so far as to track down an obsolete part (from eBay). Communication was excellent as Shawn gave me updates as the work progressed. The final bill was very fair and my Low Rider came out of his shop like a new bike! I took my Yamaha FJR 1300 there to be lowered since I'm a short person. Shawn was very aware of the implications, but on my request did the job and it was an excellent Job. Will highly recommend.

Shawn has been truly awesome. I'm a new motorcycle owner and he inspected the bike I was buying for free, and then recently after I crashed he fixed up my bike and made it look brand new for 1/2 the cost I was expecting. Super honest guy and he's obviously very passionate about what he does. Had my bike towed to Shawns as i was having an issue with overheating. Shawn was extremely helpful and notified me every time he made another finding when working on my bike. He had my bike fixed and in tip top condition in just a week, which was amazing as I was expecting to be without a bike for much longer. This is the second time I have used Shawn's shop, and will only be bringing my bike here in the future. Shawn extremely friendly and explained everything he did in detail. I feel like you wont find a mechanic as efficient, friendly, and reasonable as Shawn any where near here, and recommend you come to him with any of your needs as he will get you taken care of much better than any other shop. Best mechanic experience I've ever had.I was in a huge bind needing to get my only vehicle back running after irresponsibly doing some bad damage to my bike. Shawn bailed me out big time. Twice.He did some really impressive work, fixing a difficult problem super creatively and effectively, in a very short amount of time despite already being very busy at his shop with other projects, so that I could have transportation in order to get back to work when I was in a very tight spot.And on top of all that he was super gracious on the price, knowing my situation.I will always be super thankful I found that shop, especially after very poor experiences with other mechanics in the past.I got the feeling Shawn and Ben love sportbikes.A friend of mine also had great things to say about Shawn's work. Excellent place!Super honest and courteous. Shawn will guide you and truthfully provide you with an estimate. He cares more about the customer's well being and not the shop's profit.He really helped me out. Because I was caught up in traffic, he stayed open for me way past closing time and made sure I was fully taken care of.This man has the rare trait if high integrity and compassion for others.I am very fortunate that I ran into him.I highly recommend this shop and encourage every biker out there to take your business to Shawn!

Shawn was great! I had purchased a 2014 Yamaha Vstar 650 that had sat in the garage for a little over 2 years without the old owner draining the old gas or running it due to health reasons. I was referred to a mechanic that worked on motorcycles. He cleaned the carburetor but, I could never ride it without it stalling out when I would put in first gear. I did not want to bring it the the mechanic again since he kept telling me that I still needed to run it without riding it to get the old gas out. I came across Shawn's info on google and mentioned his shop to some of my riding buddies and they said they have heard good stuff on Shawn. I set up a time to have my bike brought to him. He contacted me to let me know that he was working on it and trying to figure out what was causing it to stall and it would take a bit longer than expected. I told him take his time. He finally figured out the issue! It was the needle jet, it had been installed at a 45 degree angle which hindered the gas flow. Paid for the work. Which was within my budget and not over priced like some mechanics! I will recommend Shawn any time and bring my bike back if I should ever have any other issues. Thank you again Shawn!!! You rock!!!!

I panicked when I noticed a screw in my tire. I d only owned the bike a month and I hadn t found a mechanic yet. I called several shops and either they didn t work on bikes this big, didn t touch American bikes or couldn t work on tires. I finally talked to a mechanic that recommended Shawn do the work so I called Shawn and went right over.He had the tire in stock, took me in right away, offered me bottled water and a breakfast taco. I saw customer after customer [regulars - loyal] arrive soon after I got there.While the tire was off, he noticed I also needed brakes and showed me how thin they were. I knew he was right and was glad he took the time to inspect them and educate me a bit. I asked if he could also add air to my rear suspension and he did that for free. He even said I could come back over the weekend if it was too much but it was actually a great improvement for my 205 pound body weight.The price was fair for all the work he did and I felt like I made friends there. What an amazing shop!! Definitely going back to have him check over the rest of the bike and suggest you do too.

Shawn did it again! My son has a pretty old bike which often needs service often and this is the only place he'll go to. He also has a penchant for running over nails and needing new tires. Shawn is always helpful, professional, reasonable and gets the job done quickly (when other shops now are taking weeks if not months). I don't know how he does it but we are so grateful to have an honest, reliable service technician in this area!Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Engine repair

Shawn's a great guy that does great work. He got my daily driver fixed up and working well, and he got it done pretty quick too! I'm impressed with his pricing, quality of work, and turnaround rate, and I'll be taking my bike back there next time I need repairs.

I bought a set of motorcycle tires online and Shawn is the only technician that would take the time to mount and balance tires he did not personally sell. A lot of other servicemen in the area outright refuse to help a customer unless the component is bought through them. Shawn did a great job, was very fast and charged a very reasonable fee for the service. No attitude, no BS and extremely professional.Service: Tires

I ve taken my motorcycle here several times for service, Shawn (and Ben) are great guys who do good work. I feel so much better taking my bike here vs. the dealer. You can tell Shawn actually cares about the customer bikes he is working on and puts in the extra effort.

I am new to the Austin area, so I was researching cycle shops. I noticed Shawn's Cycle Shops had a ton of great reviews. So I called Shawn and asked him to get me new tires for my 2018 Honda Goldwing. All I can say is Shawn is one of the most accommodating persons I have worked with. He earned my business for sure. Interestingly, he saved me about $88 from what I was prepared to spend. Most places end up finding things that will cost you more. Quick service, great prices, and very accommodating.This place is a true 5 star rating. Oh, and Shawn is great to work with.*** UPDATE 2022 ***I posted my first review two years ago. I now have almost 60,000 miles on my Goldwing. Since my original review, I have returned to Shawn for a lot of regular maintenance on my 2018 Honda Goldwing (mainly tires). I have also had him work on my wife's Honda CTX700 and do maintenance on it as well (chains, brakes, and tires).Shawn knows his stuff on the old bikes. I have no doubt he could tear down and old bike and reassemble it with his eyes closed. But he knows new bikes too. He gave me a class on the linked braking system my 2018 Honda Goldwing has and explained why it can cause uneven brake pad wear on the front. The guy is as smart as they come. More than that, he is as fair as they come. He has never pushed me to do "work" which wasn't necessary.My wife and I now trust him so much that, honestly, I wouldn't go somewhere else even if they were cheaper. He has our trust and respect. He is truly a 5-star guy.I am not the type of person to recommend someone because I would feel terrible if they were taken advantage of by someone I recommended. Well, I am wholeheartedly recommending Shawn, period!
