Great customer service, friendly and very knowledgeable about vehicles from all makes and models. I brought in my Nissan Frontier because my AC actuator #3 was out. It was going to take a day to replace it and I wasn't to bothered. But the price they wanted to charge compared to Nissan was by far more affordable. I realize dealerships need to fix things and make money, but the staff here have taught me I would feel more comfortable taking my vehicle to them. They don't try to sale you on things you don't need they just sale you great customer service. Thank you for making me a customer for life.

Took my jeep to Colonial Auto Service after being told at a Jeep Dealership that I still had an emissions leak after they fixed it & I had to take it back a 2nd time. 2nd time they wanted DOUBLE WHAT I paid the 1st time.Colonial replaced the SAME PART that Dealership SAID they replaced the 1st time for HALF THE COST of Dealership that will remain unnamed in Burnet Texas.Jeep runs great now!I would recommend Colonial Auto Service to everyone!Nice guy Matthew kept me informed of every step of the process and the cost to the penny.Great, great place, reasonable prices, trustworthy & honest...not alot of that these days.

I took my 2018 Ford pickup in for brake replacement. After putting the truck on the lift Matt came out and informed me I didn't need brakes. Due to the mileage I was shocked. I would have paid for repairs and never given it a second thought. I won't use another automobile repair shop. I took my car here to get a diagnostics on my car we were first told doing a tap out would have been about $400 unfortunately that price changed when I was told that they were going to have to replace a different piece that would cost anywhere between $2,500 to $3,000 I couldn t afford that but the shop worked with us and we were able to get my car up and running. We also had a few other problems but again everyone at the shop was able to help thank y all for everything y all did.

Excellent Service, I wish I could give this place 10 stars! They will forever be my go to shop!� They worked on my truck, They did exactly what they said they would do in the timeframe they gave me! As a female I felt comfortable and I was not taken advantage of nor treated any different! They didn t try to sell me all kinds of repairs like many other shops I ve visited in the past! Nothing against the actual work, they just charge way to much in parts. I get that mechanics do this but they charged me almost 20.00 for a bottle of Lucas trans additive and a huge markup on other parts as well. He gets these at wholesale prices already so to charge way more than retail is crazy. If I had realized just how high they would jack up the price I would have bought the parts myself. I also got several things done and now upon getting back my truck it suddenly has issues starting when nothing ever like that happened before. Not saying it is related but I took my truck in to get ready for a long trip and get charged way high and now have an issue that never existed before getting it back. Randy quoted my 700.00 to change all 4 shocks with medium grade shocks. I knew that was crazy high and did it myself for 280.00 and about an hour of my own time with fairly basic tools. I have no issues with the quality of work but the pricing is higher than it should be.

This place is great. They're pretty good at what they do. I went there with a broken bolt in my timing belt ATTACHED to the motor mount . Everyone else said they couldn't do it or was too booked and I needed it fixed ASAP. He was self-proclaimed "pricey" but efficient and had it fixed in 2 days and actually fixed my air conditioner in the process somehow. (I don't know enough about cars to explain that but 2 birds 1 stone.)

They charged $1100 for brake service but after a week, handed it back to me with brakes so soft they cannot pass State inspection. And proclaimed they're "fine" when I have to push through 3+ inches of air before the brakes engage. Took it back for them to make right and they did nothing. Same issue. Now I have to take the car somewhere else.Service: Brakes

Colonial Auto is probably one of the best run repair shops I have ever used. It is clean, the work is done correctly and the management is top notch! I won't use any other auto repair shop in the hill country any more. I highly recommend it. They have taken great care of all my vehicles for years now. They are also honest to a fault and won't give you the run-around or over charge you. They do it right. Give them a call if you need service in the Marble Falls area.

NOPE! I looked these guys up and thought "Hell, they've got a 5 star review rating, they must be good." Well, it's a lie apparently. They wanted to charge me $800 to replace a radiator, I did it for under $200 myself in under an hour. They also wanted to charge me almost $600 for brakes. They said the rotors and brakes brake pads were bad in all 4 wheels, this was a load of bull. I took the drive tire and front passenger wheel off and the rotors are completely fine, not warped or worn beyond what a $15 refinishing from AutoZone can't fix. The pads were at 80% on the drive tire and about 60% on the front passenger brakes. This was about 5 months ago, my brakes are still fine and the radiator job I did myself is doing great. I will not ever, EVER, take another vehicle here and I would encourage anyone else to avoid this place entirely.

My serpentine belt snapped, I was stranded in marble falls area an hour away from where I live, I couldn t risk driving it that far. They were already busy and fit in repairing it for me at a fair rate. Nice manager too!Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I drove up from Houston in a 2014 jeep grand Cherokee's for Labor Day weekend to LBJ and the air-conditioner broke, sweat the whole way. I called colonial on Friday morning and Randy answered and said he had several cars in but would work it in. He and his team had my AC working within an hour for a very good price. Randy understood that we couldn't be there all day or leave her car as we came up for holiday with family. I really appreciate his kindness and help to get us going again.Bonus for great conversation while the jeep was getting serviced. Highly recommended and I will be back any time we have an issue while we are visiting LBJ. Much appreciated!!!

Went in there and got a quote and it was what they ssid it would be.They did very good work on my Jeep Wrangler TJ. I had seals changed between tranfer case and transmission. Got it out the next day.

Experienced, knowledgeable, good service. I had saved up as much money as I could, expecting it to cost a lot to fix my truck...they got me out of there for a fraction of what I expected. Now I'm trying to save up for bigger problems they quickly assessed and quoted. LUV these guys (& office gal)!

A mechanic quoted 11 hours of work for an extremely simple transmission fix. Me and my buddy did it in 4 hours with no lift and without a full set of mechanic tools. I'll never understand why people do things like that or treat people in the community that way. Trash.

I've been using Randy for years. Best guy to go to in all of the Hill Country. First time using him, it was a bolt that needed to be tightened. Didn't even charge me for his time. Great guy.

Great experience. I'm out of state and I had Colonial check out a car I was looking at buying from a dealer in TX. Process was smooth, the price was reasonable, and Randy was great to talk to.

We were just passing through town and our alternator died. They were able to help us right away. Final bill was lower than quoted. They were kind and compassionate and helpful. Thanks guys!!

This is the place to get your vehicle serviced for sure !!! The Ford house was about to charge my uncle alot of money for a problem he didn't have , we took the car to these guys and found out there was nothing wrong at all and walked out free of charge , I recommend Colonial all day every day !! Thanks for your kind honest service !!!

They seem to do good work but overcharge for the services rendered, so pretty much the same with all mechanics these days.
