Great mechanics. Fixed all the problems with my 2001 F250 7.3L diesel. B didn't charge for overlapping labor. And gets the work done faster than the standard billing times. Dave some money and they give you a warranty.Great manager. Highly recommended.

Honesty is unfortunately a RARE thing it today's world, but Michael Houy proved to me he is an HONEST man!I brought my truck to All-Star Transmissions to have the Allison transmission repaired and was fully expecting to do some major repairs. The truck was throwing all kinds of different codes and was experiencing everything from hard shifts to locking into gear. Michael called and told me my truck was ready and that the cause was a transmission case connector seal and I could pick up my truck. $156.00 dollars for a job I was expecting ten times as much as a minimum.Thank you Michael, it was AWESOME to meet and do business with an HONEST man.Service: Transmission

So grateful for their honesty. My normal mechanic told me I needed a new transmission for $7k. A friend recommended I take it to ALL Star Transmision and have them check it out. They cleaned a sensor and reset the shift adapts. Now my truck shifts better than it ever has, and they saved me 90% of what I thought I would have to pay at my other mechanic! Thank you so much!

Gave my truck a horrible tune and made my Cummins chatter and run like crap with over fueling. Was told it s not my problem and they wouldn t take accountability to help resolve the issue. Was told to hit the road and use another shop. Horrible communication. High recommend going somewhere else.UPDATE AS OF 12-11-23The tune this shop gave me RUINED the motor on my truck. And before someone says or thinks it, I m not some 20 year old heavy on the gas. I had the issue with the tune THE DAY I PICKED IT UP!! always heard good things about this place. What a shameANOTHER UPDATE AS OF 1-4-24had work being done to my motor for this shops lack of accountability and found out when they installed my transmission THAT I PAID 12k FOR, the didn t tighten torque converter bolts and would ve cost me ANOTHER engine rebuild ONTOP of another trans. Don t use this shop. The quality of this place has astronomically gone down hill.LAST UPDATE 4-17-24I did what the shop foreman MIKE told me to do to fix my problem which was upgrade to a FASS fuel system. STILL didnt fix the problem. This guy doesnt take accountability whatsoever unless it makes him look good!

Was passing through Marble Falls and a hose on our truck was cracking. Called this shop, they had a new updated hose and parts to repair. It was close to 5 if not after and we had cows in the trailer. They replaced the parts and such in the street! What a heck of a customer service deal!Being late, and we were in a pinch, I thought this will be several hundred dollars, but after I left I looked up the part they installed. And it would have cost me more just to buy the part on my own, plus shipping then I would have had to install it!Thanks Michael and crew for being honest and dependable.

They saved our backsides. Two damsels in distress, 400 miles from home. Thought we had a bad transmission. Luckily, they totally knew what they were doing. Took care of us on an emergency basis They were kind, patient, got the job done, without breaking the bank. Would go to the regularly if I lived in Marble Falls. For sure!

Integrity: 5 stars all the wayCommunication: 2 stars at best. Mike seems to be overwhelmed in the office and has a hard time returning calls or answering the phone. Best way to reach is to just go up there physically.Organization: Not great but they seem to get the job done well enough.Workmanship/knowledge: average maybe slightly above average.Value: great pricing for the level of work you re paying for. In my opinion, they re priced too cheap.Been using these guys for years with my company and personally. I don t do a great amount of business with them, but maybe two to three times per year. I would rank them at 3.5 if google let me but since they don t I bump it to 4 based on their integrity. The communication is the part that bothers me more than anything. Communication is easy and they are pretty terrible at this part, but all in all it s a good company and I would recommend them.

Let me say, these guys are top notch transmission specialists. 5 stars across the board. They are extremely busy for a reason... they're that good. I just needed transmission service on a 20-year old pickup, but they worked me in, provided exactly the service required (no up -selling). Straight shooters -- Communication was timely and honest. Took my vehicle to another mechanic. They wanted $2500 to change plugs and coils. Took to All Star. They fixed that problem plus a small issue on AC for $1000. Honest mechanics are the best!

Michael is very knowledgeable and responsive. The employees are very nice. The service they provided on our company truck was extremely fast and affordable. Would recommend to any family or friends. We will definitely be using them in the future.

I recently had the good fortune of purchasing my PaPaw s 1986 Jeep Comanche Pickup after it had been sold over 10 years ago. I was certain that the transmission was gone and brought it to All Star....it overheated on the way there . I didn t know that they had mechanics to remedy issues other than transmissions. They troubleshooted for endless hours to make sure that it was running right and it turns out that the transmission is just fine...for now. They did an outstanding job! The truck is running like a top. They were honest, reliable, and most of all patient with my incessant phone calls. We picked one Jeep up and dropped another off for some minor repairs. Needless to say, we will never use anyone other than All Star for all of our future needs. Mike, who I m sure is sick of me at the moment, was always courteous and well-informed when I spoke with him. There s a reason that their parking lot stays full. Honest, reliable, and timely! I got lucky and was squeezed in after a customer cancelled. Transmission and transfer case rebuild in three days... Full invoice disclosure review and the truck is back doing work. Kinda how it should be in and for our community... Honest and quality work.. rarity these days. God bless

My transmission went out while traveling in Austin. From the beginning ALL STAR TRANSMISSION was professional and helped with towing, and helped me get back in my vehicle quickly. My van is running down the road, shifting just like it should! Thank you Mike for running such a honest shop, and showing me how to check my transmission fluid level

I've used All Star for years and have been pleased. In one case, a day after the warranty ran out on a rebuilt transmission, the oil pump blow out. They covered the labor while I payed for the pump.All Star has worked on many other repairs too, not just transmissions.However.... Trying to reach them on the phone takes a great deal of effort. I have taken time off work to drive there to check on my car.

Great shop! Michael is very knowledgeable and friendly. Dropped off for new clutch Monday ready Wednesday. You will see why they don t answer the phone when you stop by, very busy!

I brought my 2009 Chevy in for some basic work and found out these guys do a lot more than just transmissions and repairs. They outfitted me with an EGR delete, exhaust and EFI live. Great folks and very good knowledge on vehicles of all kind.

It doesnt even deserve a star! I had my apt. To look at my car on Thursday. No one called me, I had to call them. Friday morning I called he hadn't gotten to it but assured me he would right now. No one called AGAIN! I decided to just go and pick it up. Aparently they did look at it and never called. But he couldn't get the transmission to jump yet its been doing it for 2 yrs! He just didnt spend time with it. NEVER GOING BACK AND NEVER RECOMMENDING

The owner is one of the most knowledgeable technicians that you will ever meet. On top of that he's always honest about the problems you may having never trying to upsell you on anything you don't need.
