Been knowing Tommy for 10 years now and tried several different technicians over the years but none of them come close to the work ethic and honesty I receive here. I work on my own car in the driveway but can only do so much without a proper shop with proper equipment and experience so when I need the big stuff done, I have no hesitation to bring it to Tommy! He s always got my back and genuinely cares about the work he performs on other people s vehicles. He s a real treasure!

Absolutely amazing experience. Sent an email to Tommy over Thanksgiving weekend when my truck dropped coolant all over my garage floor. Received an email response from him first thing Monday morning, we then spoke on the phone and told him the issue with the coolant and the brakes leaking from the rear passenger wheel. Tommy knew exactly what the issue was on the coolant leak and brake fluid leak prior to me even arriving. Scheduled me for the next morning (Tuesday) and had a new water pump and wheel cylinders installed the same day with an amazing price. He even offered advice on something we need to pay attention to down the road on my truck. Great shop, great prices and even better person. A++++ service

If this is the place I'm thinking of, I sold him a couple of metal cutting machines about a year ago they were just setting up shop there. Great looking facility professional work here being done on the motors.

I discovered Quantum Mechanix probably 10 years ago when we first moved to Mansfield. We had an issue with our Tahoe and someone I trusted gave us a great word-of-mouth recommendation.Tommy just came through for us again. My son Eric was driving the old Tahoe and started noticing a coolant leak. He diagnosed it as a water pump and we gave Eric the number for Quantum. Tommy took it in, diagnosed it as a shot water pump and gave me a quote with options for replacing with an original Chevy part or a less expensive aftermarket that he knew to be reliable.Frankly, the quote was hundreds less than I expected. I am a fairly decent mechanic and would gladly pay his quoted price.He got the work done the day he was able to diagnose the problem. On time, exactly as quoted and functioning perfectly.I have recommended Quantum to friends for a decade and they all agree that you get honest work done right at a fair price. Everything you need in a mechanic shop!

Had a great experience with Tommy and his staff. I was driving my family in our Kia Sportage, and a work truck in front of us lost a box of nails in the road. It punctured the Kia s condenser, so I turned to a neighbor for an auto shop recommendation. Tommy came through in a big way. Explained the different replacement options and pricing upfront. Most impressive- he had the new condenser and 1234YF refrigerant replaced in 24 hours. Highly recommend.

Tommy at Quantum Mechanic is the most honest mechanic I ve ever dealt with. We ve been taking our vehicles there for 8+ years and he goes above and beyond to keep us on the road. His mother Donna works in the office and she always makes sure we re taken care of - they are lifesavers!!

Quantum did a great job tuning up my expedition. Running like new again. Tommy took time to take care of the little things as well, like noticing a small water hose leak that was a potential problem down the road. He was honest and fair with his prices. If you need an honest mechanic this is the place to go. I would trust Tommy with utmost confidence. I have used his expertise for some time now. I know absolutely nothing about mechanics of an auto but I know that Tommy is someone you can depend upon.. I had a small insignificant issue just the other day so I drove out to his garage and he stopped what he was doing crawled out from another vehicle 2 see what the issue was with my vehicle. Tommy is the best mechanic I ve ever taken my car to. He s been honest and helpful every time we ve gone to him.Personally, I really appreciate how he explains things. I m not suddenly a car expert, but I definitely come out of it knowing what is going on with MY car, and that is a huge, huge plus for me.

This is THE place! I will never have my car serviced by another auto repair shop ever again. Quantum Mechanix takes customer service to the next level. Their pricing and level of service are beyond anything I've ever experienced! They provide you with a thorough overview and diagnostic of what's wrong with your car before starting the work, so you're certain the job will get done right the first time. You don't have to worry about up selling for things you don't need, but they are honest about any issues they see while repairing your car that you may need to be aware of in the future. That's peace of mind, and that is something I've never had. You always feel like you're getting shaken down at other repair shops, but every time I leave my car with them I know it's in good hands and I know my family is safe the next time they get in the car. Thank you to Quantum Mechanix for that feeling of safety!

Tommy has been working on both of our vehicles and I have nothing but good things to say. He is friendly, honest and does great work. He is very good about working you in if you need something done that day. Oil changes take about 40min but he is an excellent mechanic. We have been very pleased. He absolutely goes above and beyond.

I don't normally leave reviews on a business, but with this company I felt I needed to take the time to do so.Brought my 66 Mustang to Quantum Mechanix for some service on a heater core and the A'/C system that I thought had died. Tommy the owner from the start was great to work with, very effective with communication and went above and beyond when it came to service and the final repair. Tommy's communication before and during the process was awesome, he called once he figured out the issues(a with in a day) and explained what needed to be done and what the cost would be. He also found a few issues that I was not aware totally, and he took care of those as well. I was very impressed with his pricing and level/quality of service. I have been in the automotive equip. business since 2003 and have been is every dealership in the DFW area as well as most of the mid size and up independent shops in the area. I gotta say Tommy runs a top notch shop. The very fact that he the owner actually gets out in the shop and does repairs with his staff is a trait I have not seen in a shop since the 80's. Tommy has a vested interest in this business and it shows with his communication and service skills.I will be telling family and friends as well as business clients I have about this great shop tucked away in Mansfield. If your looking for a great and most important honest auto repair shop...give Tommy and Quantum Mechanix a shot...you will not be disappointed.Thanks Tommy and staff for the great service!!JD

I had a oil change, tire rotation, sway bars replaced and front brakes replaced. I won t be taking my car anywhere but Quantum Mechanix. The work was done well and the repairs costs were more than reasonable. My car is riding exceptionally well.

Can't say enough about these guys. Tommy and his guys are top notch, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend them for any and all car repairs you have. I took my car in for some odd noises after a timing belt change at a different shop. Not only did they identify and fix the issue, but kept me informed all the way through. Not over priced, and very quick repairs. Thanks for an awesome job.

Best mechanic I have been to in years. Diagnosed what was wrong with car quickly and accurately. I had to take my car in after another chain shop in the area did shotty work. Tommy was very helpful in explaining everything to me and getting me an estimate. He had my car fixed up in a day and driving better than it had been in years. Highly recommend.

Never heard of Quantum Mechanix, but live close, needed some work done, and they seemed to have pretty solid reviews. Took a truck in to get some work done and it was prompt, clear, and the follow up was quick. Gave me price estimates, a quote on some future issues that may arise in a set period of time, and a call back when it was ready for pick up. Only my first experience with Quantum and Tommy, but was definitely happy with the service. Will definitely use him again.

By far the best prices around town for shock installation! As a car enthusiast it is very hard to trust people to do quality job at a fair price. Tommy and his staff are very friendly and helpful and will be happy to bring back any of my vehicles.

This is the kind of place that is so awesome that you want to keep it a secret before it gets so popular you can't even use it anymore.Tommy is excellent. He's extremely fair, friendly, and has reasonable rates. Plus, he's trustworthy and has never tried to push unnecessary parts or repairs that I didn't need. Unless something drastically changes about how he does business, I see no reason to take my cars anywhere else.

Tommy is awesome. Will not over charge you. He has been taking care of my 2005 Tahoe for years. Thanks to him it still purrs like a kitten. Makes fixing your car affordable. Make sure to call and make an appt. He is in demand.

I was looking for a mechanic and I had called several places and they all felt likes scams. I called Quantum Mechanix and Tommy and I spoke at length about my van. He got me right in and service was awesome. I would not go anywhere else. Tommy and his crew are awesome, effecient and above all else HONEST. I have recommend several people here and they have all been happy. Thanks for all you do.

I've been bringing my car & SUV to Quantum Mechanix for the last 2 years. Tommy is an excellent & trustworthy mechanic. He always gives an estimate before starting the repair. The cost is never a surprise, its always at or below the estimate (and less then half the cost of going to my dealers service department!!) and he always fixes the problem the first time. Whenever any friends/family/coworkers mention car trouble I tell them to go see Tommy @ Quantum Mechanix.

I had brought my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse to Tommy , for multiple things and he never fails to do a top notch job. What I do honor about it is that there is no deceiving tactics to upsell you on things you don't need. For me being a college student , and not having all this money to pour into repairs. It means a lot to have an honest repair shop like Tommy's . I would recommend Quantum Mechanix over any other repair shop in the area . Excellent customer service , and excellent repairs every time .

Best mechanic I've ever used! I have been coming to Quantum Mechanix since 2014. I have 2 older cars, a 1997 and a 2010, and they are in tip top shape because of the crew at Quantum! The people at Quantum will give you the best service and price for your cars needs. They will tell you what you need done and not try to add on charges or additional expenses. I trust no one else with my cars or my friends and families cars.

Took my truck in because the headlight wasn't working. Didn't charge me to fix it! Only took one business day! I picked it up the same day I dropped it off! I will definitely recommend and continue to use Quantum Mechanix for any and all auto mechanic needs! 100% 5 out 5 stars. Without a doubt

Called them because I had a rattling coming from inside my engine bay and I was dumping power steering fluid frequently, which had me thinking a pulley bearing or something...went to meet up w the owner so he could take a look/listen.Tommy opens the hood, hears the noise and immediately tells me it s my timing chain; that the power steering fluid is bc I must have a leaky rack and pinion and it s filling my CV boot and leaking out. Quotes me $900 just to pull my valve cover and check it, then another ~$1,600+ for the timing chain kit, and doesn t want to hear anything else I have to say. Doesn t even get a stethoscope to listen to the timing area or anything after I tell him the power steering pump is right below the timing area and I think the noise is reverberating in the engine bay and sounding like it s coming from the timing area.Also tells me that s what happens when you buy older modded cars that have been ragged out by kids even though it was a one owner vehicle, low mileage, and METICULOUSLY taken care of by the previous owner with detailed service records. The thing is an 02 and looks like it just came off the showroom for crying out loud.So I leave to find a mechanic who will actually listen to what I have to say instead of just thinking he knows everything. Later date- drop it off at the mechanic up here in Haslet (I was still working in Mansfield at the time and my dad has always brought his cars to Tommy so I wanted to try him first) and they call me less than an hour later to tell me that it s the power steering pump- WOW! Imagine that!So basically, instead of earning my business, Tommy lost out on almost a grand worth of work- it s a 17 year old car so I had them replace other things while they were in there...Maybe it s bc I m younger and he assumed I didn t know what I was talking about, or maybe because it was the end of the day and he was ready to go home...or perhaps he s just so busy that he didn t feel like messing with my car, or didn t have time bc he s always so swamped with work from his loyal customers...I m not sure...? Whatever the case, it was a pretty bad experience here and I was extremely disappointed...especially once I received confirmation that my initial thoughts on the steering pump were correct in the first place.Two stars bc my father has had good experience here, and bc the lady that handles the scheduling/phones is super nice and friendly. I honestly hate writing bad reviews, and I very rarely do, but this was really really bad. Like what if I would have let him scare me in to paying him the $900 to pull the valve cover? What if I did the entire $2,500+ job...? I still would have had the noise, and still been dumping fluid.
