Robin and the wife were so informative and patient. We just recently moved to town and I was stressed about finding honest service, as I am clueless about cars. My husband's car had a terrible oil leak and we couldn't locate where it was coming from. We dropped off our car on Wednesday and were able to pick it up on Friday night. They were able to fix the leak and also replaced all the necessary fluids for maintenance. Additionally, they called us every day to update us on their progress. Overall, I highly recommend this shop for their great service, reliability, and knowledge. I will definitely come back if I ever need service again till next time!

I brought my car here after my check engine light came on. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem in one day! I am very happy with the work we received on my vehicle! They are very trustworthy. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back for any needed repairs and routine maintenance.

I couldn't shift gears in my truck. They picked it up towed it to their shop and fixed it in less than 24 hours. Great turn around time. Fair Price. Super nice.My go to mechanic now in Manor.Thank you.

I know Robin has a good reputation but honestly I had a terrible experience.After already dealing with other mechanics who for some reason or another were not able to work on my car, I was initially relieved Robin said he would be able to work on it.I met him on a Friday, and he told me to bring it in on Monday and he d get to it first thing. I brought it in on Monday and he seemed a little stressed. That should have been my first warning sign, especially when he said something about another customer who was bothering him about when their car would be ready. A week goes by and Robin doesn t even touch my car for a diagnosis until that Saturday.After the diagnosis it takes another full week for him to do anything. When I pick it up, all he has done is a diag, smoke test, replaced an o2 sensor and cleaned some grounds. I could have done all that myself in an hour. All in all he charged me $400 and it none of the work he did actually helped solve my issue.I m sure if he had kept the car longer he eventually could have solved the issue, but going two weeks without my car for him to do minimal work and having him continuously pushing the timeline out after promising something else was unacceptable.Proceed with caution, he might treat you better than he treated me, but unfortunately for me he wasted a bunch of my time and money.

I came to XDJ with the understanding that I needed motor mounts for my truck from a dealership. I m not the most knowledgeable person on automotive repairs and XDJ had every opportunity to take advantage of the situation to make a quick buck. I wouldn t have known any better. Instead, they looked it over and determined it was a quick $60 fix. I can not recommend them enough because they stand by their claim of honesty.

Robert the manager and his team were very professioinal . he found the problem immidiatly he is very reliable friendly and polite. he is honest with the pricing and I will be back for sure. I recomend him for any car issues.

XDJ is awesome! They had great over the phone & in person customer service, they came to my house and picked up/towed my vehicle as it wouldn't start, and even offered to pick me up when it was finished. My car runs smooth and better then it did before I had the problem. Robin makes you feel like family. He is professional and knowledgeable about auto repairs. He is fast, efficient and extremely fair in price for repairs. I first met Robin and his family over 6 years ago for a repair and choose to call him up for a repair again and he remembered me. He is personable and I'm happy to see that his business has grown. Robin and Jesse are so nice and honest. Robin was able to diagnose my Passat and figure out where a mystery leak was and fix it. I will definitely be bringing all my cars to him and recommend anyone else too. He s honest, knows what he s doing and charges fair pricing. It really is a family business. Robins wife helped check me out once my car was done and it felt like such a warm welcome. Reminded me of the family owned businesses my parents were part of when I was growing up. Great people and great mechanic.

I bought a Mercedes from a private dealer with many problems including my suspension, engine, as well as leaks.Robin is very knowledgeable and helped with all of my problems with the car. He finished the job in a timely manner, was straightforward with costs, and thoroughly explained which services he was going to complete. It was our first day moving to manor from Michigan and my car started having problems. Robin was so great and helped in a timely fashion. Robin is a very respectable and honest mechanic. He doesn t cut corners! Robin explained everything to me in great detail. I learned a lot about my vehicle! The XDJ team are AWESOME! Friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I took my car to XDJ Autoshop because I started hearing a woo woo sound after I got tire rotation from a different shop. Robin is very knowledgeable that when I explained to him what has happen to the car he had a good idea of what was the problem. He charged me less on the inspection because he knew that it wouldn t take him long to see what was going on. I learn new things from him as he explained what was going home with my tire and im glad I found this shop and I went home happy knowing the safety issue is resolved. I also like how his calendar says family so I knew I was getting taking good care of. 10/10 Will definitely recommend him to everyone as I like supporting local business. Customer for life! XDJ has done work on my vehicles on several occasions, including body repair. Robin is honest, knowledgeable, trustworthy & does exceptional work. I know when I get my vehicle back it will not just be done but done right and at a very reasonable price. Robin takes the time to explain repairs in detail & teach his customers. I never feel like I am being taken advantage of like I have in other places. Robin has even worked directly with my insurance co. to complete an insurance claim repair & went to bat to get the best parts when the insurance company was trying to cut costs at my expense. As I drove away from Robin s shop, I glanced at the top of my invoice - it read Where you are family too. Not only advertised, but practiced! Robin took good care of me and my vehicle - he was fair, prompt and did quality work on my transmission. He also offers a tow and diagnostic package which came in handy. Fantastic service. Brought my car in for some expensive work, but turned out to be cheaper than expected because they didn't need to use all the parts, and he didn't charge me for those even though he ordered them. I first took my car to another place in Manor and they did not fix the problem and gave me all kinds of excuses and I was out 300 bucks. Then, I took it XDJ Automotive and had a totally different experience. Robin told me exactly what was wrong with my car and laid out everything and gave me options, to see what I wanted to do. Great Place. Not only fixed the problem, but my car runs better than when I first bought it. Definitely recommended.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

We ve been taking our vehicles to Robin at XDJ Automotive for years. This is a family owned business and Robin runs it with the utmost honesty and integrity. He has always been very thorough with his diagnostics and helpful in explaining the needed only repairs. This is definitely a business worth the short drive. And I drive from Hays county to get the best service in central Texas at XDJ Automotive. Give him a try. You won t be disappointed.

Robin is very professional, knowledgeable and honest. I was worried that the very loud sound my car was making when I made a turn was going to be expensive, some suggested suspension and other really costly sounding things. Robin diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes and it was only a clogged air conditioning drainage hose filling the a/c compartment with water (hence the loud noise, water swishing). He explained everything to me and also gave me a checklist of other maintenance items to be looked at (car has almost 100,000 miles), gave me a price quote for each and which he thought were more important. I chose a few things that I know needed to be done, belt, oil change and will get the rest done when I can. I highly recommend Robin!

Robin, the owner of XDJ Automotive, is the best! I know very little about fixing vehicles and I m always worried I m being sold on something that doesn t need to be done. You don t have to worry about that with XDJ! Robin will diagnose any issues your vehicle is having, and then does a great job of explaining in detail what those issues are and giving you multiple options on how to fix them. I have never had a mechanic tell me they found an issue, but it s not an immediate issue and can probably wait to be fixed. It s usually the opposite, where everything is wrong and has to be fixed now. I cannot recommend XDJ enough, they are simply the best!
