Carters automotive is a amazing mechanic shop , Ashley and Greg really know what they are doing , the customer service is top notch and they only fix what needs fixing, I've brought my 2015 escape there multiple times , they handle all the warranty work for me, they replaced a engine for me and it's been great , I would not hesitate to use them in the future , as a matter of fact I have made them the only mechanic I Wil take any of my vehicles to ! Just picked my car up today from them it had a rattle noise in suspension and they solved it and got me back on the road ! Thank you carter's, for giving the tomball community a honest Christian mechanic that we know we can count on when needed!!!!!! It's nice knowing that whatever the problem is from engine to transmission they will fix it for me and I know I can trust them along the way !

I had my alternator replaced on 7/2022 a week ago my alternator went out so I called and Ashley stated it's out of warranty. I paid over 300 for the alternator and a replaced alternator should last at least 7yrs not 1. So I had to go to Napa and I paid about the same price with a lifetime warranty. This place use to be reputable now forget it! I will make sure everyone I know about not to go there. Now my alternator went out on my van which they replaced on 8/2022. I don't know where they purchase these alternators that only last until the warranty goes out. I would of liked it if they would of worked with me but unfortunately customer service is not thier priority. I'm very disappointed

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! They will cheat you, they will lie to you, they pretend to be a good Christian family business ....they are a JOKE! THEY WILL FIX ANYTHING JUST TO TRY AND MAKE SOME MONEY!! IF THEY DONT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG THEY WILL FIX SOMETHING JUST TO MAKE A DOLLAR!Never looking for anything free...just honest good work. I don't have to lie...I paid for all the incorrect work done to my truck, now paying an honest mechanic to do the honest work!! Good luck!!

I have used this business for years now with several vehicles. Gregg and Ashley are extremely honest, professional and ethical in every way. They have always laid out options and been 100% honest about what repairs are needed, or not needed. They are very friendly and treat you as a trusted friend or family member. I have never found a more reliable or trustworthy business like Carter's Automotive. They set the example that all other Automotive repair shops should emulate!

Take your vehicle here! It can be hard to find an honest shop that does great work on diesel trucks. Carter Automotive Repair has worked on my truck multiple times, and I have been more than satisfied with their service. Greg and Ashley are very helpful and professional. All of my repairs were done right the first time. My truck has never ran better. They were honest about what needed to be done, and what could wait. They also gave me price options on different brands of parts. I will continue to give them my business!

I chose this place because of the good previous reviews I read. I agree with the good reviews. They are great at what they do and are up front with repairs and cost. I highly recommend them even if you have a 22 year old truck like I have. A great job was done. Thank you for figuring out the problems with my distributor and the repairs.

This shop is a diamond in the rough, it's not to often you find an automotive shop that not only does an amazing job but they are very honest and give you every option and allow you to choose how to spend your money your way! Will definitely use them for all my repair needs. Although they book up pretty quickly they are worth every bit of the wait!!

Carters automotive repair shop are the very best. I have been using them for the past 6 years. They are Customer service oriented without a doubt. They should be emulated by others up to including dealership services. My truck has 716400 miles on it and it is due in part because Ashley and Greg Carter keep a Leger regarding my services and when to conduct them. They are so great when it comes to warranty honors. I broke down in Corpus Christi TX and they worked with a shop there who repaired my truck at no charge Honoring the warranty. They are amazing at accommodating customer work schedules to get vehicle repaired in a timely manner as they just did for me last week. Their prices are really good and Honest compared to others locally. I could say more about them, but ultimately, their Honesty and Integrity is of the Highest.Thank you Ashley and Greg Carter

Great experience during a bad situation, they fixed my truck quicker than expected and everything from the tow to the pick up was pleasant, plus a 1 year warranty to make this experience even better. I will definitely bring my vehicle back here for any future work.

Finding a car repair place can be very intimidating especially if auto mechanics is a foreign language to you. Carter Automotive Repair has been very warm and communicative since they took my car in. I m in complete awe with the integrity of this business. They are hard working and very honest. They are currently working on my vehicle and have been amazing and knowledgeable throughout the whole process so far!

This may actually be the last truly honest auto repair shop in the world! These guys are awesome. They will break down your repair needs and give you options. They are very reasonably prices with their labor rate, too.

They repaired an A/C problem with our truck for a small fraction of the price the dealership quoted. That was a year ago and the AC still works great! These people are very nice, honest, and quick. Highly recommend

Best mechanic service around. A rarity in mechanic shops, they are honest about what needs to be done and very fairly priced. Labor rates far below stealerships. Fair prices on parts too plus then they can honor warranties! Penny wise pound foolish! Don t buy your parts online and not be able to warranty them or double pay for labor. Fast, good, honest service.

Very friendly, positive people here. I've passed by them the last year and they're always busy. Honest shop which is very hard to find these days. When my vehicle needs to be worked on again, I'm definitely coming back !

They are very honest and fair! My 2012 Chevy Cruz has been a nightmare and they have taken the time out to fix every issue and it really has been a challenge with my car. I'm so lucky to have found them!! They are amazing people.

Honesty is the most important thing when dealing with car repairs. I've been using Carter automotive for several years even though they are an hour out of my way. Knowing that we won't be charged for non needed repairs or overcharged and they always do excellent work are the reasons I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.

This shop is the best in town, not only are they talented and know what they're doing but their prices are fair. They always deliver my car when they say they're going to. I totally trust them. When I refer my friends to them, they always rave about the service and the price. HONEST and they have gone out of their way to help customers on more than one occasion.

Very satisfied with Carter. My car broke down just a couple of blocks from their shop. I did not have a mechanic yet for my vehicle, and it turned out to need an alternator. They were reasonably priced compared to other shops, honest, and explained my car's problem to me in great detail. They also got my vehicle done in a timely manner. I will go back to Carter (hopefully not too soon lol).

The most important thing for me with an automotive repair shop is TRUST. You can trust Carter Automotive. They won't try to sell you repairs you don't need. This place put rotors on our vehicle which rusted immediately. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and got brakes put on another vehicle. Cheap pads that squeaked a few days later and still do, not to mention the ABS lights that came on and stayed on permanently. If you want your vehicle ruined this is your place!Service: BrakesService: Brakes
