I have a good experience using Chad's Automobile Repair although it is now Lumberton Auto Repair. They seem to be honest and trustworthy.

Took my car in Tuesday morning, because the air conditioning fan stopped blowing. I was able to get it back that afternoon fixed and blowing cold air. Very reasonable price and excellent service.

We have used Chad's twice in the last few weeks. Our experience was 5+ stars on both occasions. First time we brought our truck in for heater core replacement. They gave us an estimate on time to be completed. They completed the heater core replacement plus three other repairs that came up while doing the original repair, all within the time fame they gave us for the one repair. Communication was fantastic. Each additional repair was thoroughly explained with the exact price given and we were not pressured in any way to make the additional repairs. Chad kept the old parts that were replaced to show us why they were needing to be replaced and answered all of our questions about the repairs. Second time in, we did coil springs and shocks on front and back of truck. Again, repairs were completed within the time given and at the price quoted. The ladies in the office were super nice and kept us updated on progress. 100% recommend and 100% will use again.Services: Steering & suspension replacement, A/C installation & repair, Auto maintenance

I completely trust my car with Chad's Automotive and know of several people who are very happy with their service. They have always been very honest and trustworthy. It is hard to find an automotive place you can trust especially as a woman and Chad is very honest and fair. He explains what it needs and why. Equipment for working on cars and labor is expensive and we shouldn't expect automotive shops to do it for very little to nothing. I would definitely refer anyone to them.

Brought two vehicles here in less than a week. First was issue with Dodge Ram, acting weird, chugging gas, they found the issue, explained it to me, had it fixed by end of day at a great price.Second trip, wife s back seat in Yukon wasn t laying down electronically. Brought it to Chad s, told them we were leaving for family trip in two days, they found the issue over nighter the part and got it done for us. Great folks. Guys know what they are doing and Nancy kept me posted at each step. They have earned my business for any vehicle work I need in future. Need auto work done, I highly recommend Chads. You won t be disappointed.

I brought my son's truck there today to get his radiator fixed. The staff was very friendly and very quick with a quote. Once the job was completed I even spoke with the owner. He was very nice and professional. There prices were very reasonable and I would highly recommend this company and will continue to bring my business here.

I couldn't be more pleased with a mechanic business! They do professional work with a personal and kind attitude! Always communicate well and extremely reliable each time I go ( which is more than I'd like). The ladies in the front office are so informative, always are prompt to call/call back and mostly, are so very sweet and personable! I am very grateful to have much security in my choice of where to go.

Been going to Chad since I moved to Texas 9 years ago. Won't go to anybody else .Does great work .Super friendly .Always keeps me informed...what is needed, what might be coming in future, etc. Never pressures you or tries to oversell services.A+++ in my book. Highly recommend. Great people! Will treat you like part of the family.Have never found anyone with better pricing.

My car was slowly leaking coolant. They found a leaking water pump and while changing it found a defective electric radiator fan. They were kind enough to drive me home and to pick me up when my car was finish. Unfortunately a few problems with the owner came into focus. It seems he did not inform me no checks although there was a small sign posted. And he was not pleasant about his thoughts there. So I used a credit card and was also told how much he hated to pay for the credit card surcharge. The work was done satisfactorily but my door locks would not work. He got very upset like I was blaming him for that problem. With the computer in car if any errors are caused the door locks don't work. It did not help the spare key i loan them the remote locks don't work. All that need to be done was the battery be disconnected. But he would not listen to me and got all angry. So be aware this place is not very customer friendly. Aside of that the work seems to be top notch.

After a dreadful experience with a local dealership, I was referred to Chad s Automotive Repair. They are the definition of quality customer service. Work was performed in a timely manner and all of my questions throughout the process were adequately addressed. The professional courtesy extended by Chad s team has given me peace of mind when my vehicles are under their care. Highly recommended!

We have always had a great experience with Chad's automotive. The work they do is efficient and guaranteed. They listen to what my problem with my vehicle is, they check it out and give us reasonable quotes, and do the work quickly. My husband and I travel from Vidor to Lumberton because Chad's is worth it.Update: now we feel like every time we take one of our vehicles to Chad's, something is rigged to break down a month later. We alternated having my van or my husband's car in the shop for a few months, and gave up. The last time my husband's car was in the shop for 3 weeks to get the instrument panel worked on. Now, our speedometer doesn't work, and the car just overheated -- again! The time before that, we had to get the temperature gauge fixed, and here I sit again, waiting on a tow truck to take me to any other auto repair shop. We'll never go back to Chad's.

Took my truck in to have it fixed. At first they were oh so nice, until it started doing the same thing the very next day. After keeping it for over 2 weeks, they said they didn't know what was wrong. And it was my son's truck but kept calling me. They by-passed the problem supposedly. When we went to get it, my son wanted it explained to him what they had done, but the guy Chad got rude and wouldn't tell him. They put in over $90 gas which we had to pay for, and there was 90 miles put on the truck. It still isn't fixed. What a rip-off.

Chad is very "down to earth" & straight forward. They called when they found the issues & he gave me an honest opinion which my husband agreed with. The ladies in the office are very friendly & if they didn't know an answer to my questions, they got right back with me! Great experience!

As an Uber driver, it is important to me to have the best auto repair shop and I do believe I found it with these guys! They treated me like family for a fair price. I will definitely not use another mechanic. Superb service!

We started bringing our vehicles to Chad's a few years ago. They always make the best recommendations, take the time to explain their work and get it right the first time.Recently we brought my wife's Roush Mustang in for a new clutch. The last clutch was replaced at another shop and never felt " right". They gave us a ballpark quote and dropped it off. I got a call from Nancy later that day after their mechanic looked at the car ( apparently a mustang enthusiast) he felt a different better suited our car. It was a little more money, which was not a real fun thing to explain to a customer for sure but I really appreciated the fact they took the time to make better recommendation. As I drove it home I smiled all the way and had to call to thank them as soon as I got home. Drives smoother than it did new anr now i have two mustangs that shift the same, no learning curve when swithcing cars lol.

Well first quote to look at my van was 75. Til I got there it went to 90. To inspect my van. Got home power steering line was shooting Fluid everywhere guess looking entirely over my van was not part of the mechanical Inspection so costed me another 189.00 to fix the line then 142.00 to put a butt connector on a wire. Yes was Right but I think I was talking a bit for. They did it right but at a high high price. And wouldn't though they would have checked under the hood the first time. But business integrity is ro each and his own people I guess.

By far the best repair shop around. I ve always had my vehicles repaired here for over 5 years and have never had a problem. Great prices and a friendly staff. I recommend this shop to everyone and anyone!

Just in talking to Nancy and getting everything set up to bring my truck was a great experience, professional and friendly, Chad is a great in the couple minutes I spent talking to him. Im sure the truck is in great hands. Greatly appreciated and thank you.

Took my jeep in and told them the clutch had gone out and that I thought the transmission was leaking. They changed the slave cylinder and said it was fixed. When I drove 10 miles the next day, the clutch went out and my transmission emptied right there in the parking lot I coasted into.

Went to get a couple things fixed on my truck they had it out in a couple days without giving me the run around or try to get me to pay for parts I dont need awsome job and will be going back if I need anything else done

I agree with David Katz. This shop need more care about customers. I am not agree with their policy because the policy seems like hypocrites, manipulate and oppression. I recommend not bring to the shop. Thank you.

Very nice customer service. Took care of resurfacing my brake discs within 45 min. 20 bucks.
