On Wednesday March 6th I brought in my Toyota Tundra for a routine oil change. They claim 15 minutes, took closer to 45, but that was the least of my problems. 53 miles later on my way to Oklahoma I was going 85 on the toll road and all of the sudden a large cloud of white smoke started pouring out of the back of my truck. Thankfully I got onto the access road and got the truck shut down before it did any damage to the motor. That's when I found what is pictured. They didn't torque down the drain bolt and it just simply fell out, causing all the oil to drain out all over the highway. I had to call a tow truck to get towed to the Toyota dealership in North Austin, buy ANOTHER 8 quarts of oil, and a new drain plug, and do it myself in the parking lot of the dealership since there was a 3 hour wait there.I brought in the receipt for the tow and the supplies I had to purchase into Texas Express Lube & Auto on March 15th and all I asked for was for them to cover that. Ideally I should be compensated more for not only the delay during my work trip, but now the entire undercarriage of the truck is covered in oil, along with the motorcycle and carrier I was hooked up to at the time. I was essentially told that this was "above my paygrade" by the manager and that the District Manager would call me at some point. Almost 2 weeks later now and I've yet to receive a single communication regarding this.I understand mistakes happen. But failing to correct those mistakes is unacceptable.

Great customer service. The service is very fast. We came here to change our battery. The price is reasonable also. Highly recommended!

I took my dad's Toyota Tundra in for an inspection earlier today. Brandon was the only guy handling everyone coming in. He was fast, efficient and professional. Although he was overwhelmed, he kept his composure and took care of everyone like a pro! I regret not telling him how great of a job he was doing and the impression he made. Give this guy a raise! Thanks Brandon!

If you go in for an inspection, be prepared for them to find things wrong that they will 'no pass' you for that they just happen to offer services and parts for to "fix", even if you don't need them. Had my wife not known to just leave and have me look first, she might have gotten rooked by them to change brakes that had tons of life left in them, and wipers that weren't cracked or dry rotted changed to pass the inspection. Won't make the mistake again.

They were great. My check engine light was on and they hooked it up to the computer. Got an oil change and air filter. Was able to just show up with no appointment. I would recommend.

Great to do business at this place. Upon leaving my wallet fell out of my pants and I left without noticing it. Workers found it and put it in the office and tried calling me on the phone. They really saved me and as it was prevented a drastic outcome. Thanks guys I really appreciate it.

I am 83 and have been going to various express lube stations from New York, Las Vegas and now Texas. The knowledge and professionalism of the 3 gentlemen my wife and I met with was only overshadowed by their friendly and courteous demeanor. We needed an inspection and a fog bulb replaced, no big money repair. But, they treated us as if we were spending hundreds of dollars. It is so great to find a business like this with a staff is ready to help make you feel as if you just ran into a long lost friend. This is my destination for all my vehicle needs. God Bless guys, be Proud.

Service to other places of inspection and repairs not worth the time. BUT the guys at grease monkey in lulling appreciate us as customers. This small shop does get busy, and sometimes it takes a bit longer and that's fine. They are there honestly to work for you to keep your car or truck on the road safely. Without hesitation, I recommend these hard working fellow Texans.

I stooped in on my way to my sister's house (4 hrs away from me) because I was smelling burning rubber. The gentleman who looked at my car told me everything was good. He explained that many customers have the same experience because the whole area smell like burning rubber . The smell is from the fracking being done in that town.It's a big oil and gas area. Hecould have given me a false diagnosis, but he checked it out and said no charge."I wish there were more mechanics like him.Im so grateful .

The guys at Texas Express Lube in Lulling are the best. I m constantly back and forth between Houston and Wimberley and they are my go-to for an oil change. Always attentive to all my questions and concerns, a friendly face, super quick and priced competitively. Without a doubt stop by and see them for your next oil change. The manager and his employees were great. They went above and beyond what was required. They showed me some features of my truck that I was unaware of. They gave me great recommendations of what all I needed done. My fuel water sensor was bad and they called the parts store and had it delivered. I could not have asked for better service. I was very disappointed been I told themThe type of full service oil change I wanted and they did the opposite and when I said something the man on duty call manager and he said it s nothing they could do about it when a customer suggests what they won t they should be able to get that service they ask for.

I had a great experience with all the staff from start to finish. I even appreciate how the staff approach me with some of the recommendations they had for my vehicle. I m even making plans for future maintenance. I had just come two different places before where I was going to have to wait hours for them finish. 15 minutes and we were done. 5 s from me.
