Just a swell group of guys. They stayed late to do a tire repair for me and even tried to let me leave without paying! Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

I would like to give an excellent rating to Cook Tire. We were on our way back home from a family emergency and hit a tire in the middle of the road. The tire blew out my car and another car at the same time. This very kind man called Cook Tire for us, and they were there very quickly. The specialist that came out, Kevin, was so nice, he had both our cars fixed so quickly. Thank you so much!

A while back I went to Cook Tire to have my tires checked.I am disabled , use a cane .The young ( 20 s-30 yrs) man at the check in desk told me drive around back and someone will take care of you .I went there because I was told Cook Tire is good, and good service.Telling an older lady walking crookedly with a cane to go back outside, drive around back isn t being courteous to a customer.The 2 young men in the office area were discussing a friends new truck.A mechanic( 50 s-60 s) heard the discussion and said he d drive my car around.I never went back.Their work I understand is good.But younger employees need help with courteous service.

They are a little high end on prices but friendly and get the job done! Whether you need tires, brakes, or even an oil change this is a good place to go! Also they have a waiting area if you need to sit and wait or you can drop off your vehicle! Also Military discount available!

Kevin just sent a truck out to fix the tires on my Dad's golf cart. He is retired and needs it these days to get around on his place. Thanks Kevin for getting this handled quickly for us. We really appreciate it!

Six weeks ago, I brought my semi in for a 3-axle alignment, because it was pulling to the right. After they aligned it, it stilled pulled to the right; so, I had it aligned at a TA Truckstop, and their job was a success. Also, the same day (6 weeks ago),I bought 2 steer tires, at Cook Tire in Lufkin, they were to mount and balance. Later, my Steering wheel was still shaking, so I went to a truckstop. The tires, purchased at Cook Tire still had old weights/no new weights and were not balanced. At Cook Tire, in Lufkin.. I also had a low tire, they were to fix all they did was air it up.Eventhough Cook Tire is close to home, I will not be back for repairs. I only gave 1 star so I could leave a review.

Went for state inspection. Super friendly and courteous. Waiting area is clean. The reason I give 3 stars is technician who worked on my inspection was careless. I understand the need to check interior dash to see things are functioning, but there is no need to rub the temp indicator with finger just because it was a little dusty. My vehicle is faily new and now it is scratched.

A huge thank you to Walter and Cook Tire for coming out to help remove my spare from under my truck. I had no tools, since the dealership failed to give them to me as they were supposed to, and Walter was a sweetheart to show me which tool I need and how to remove the spare in the future. Y'all saved my rear on an otherwise bad situation.

Quoted me one price for 4 new tires, order and schedule to be installed then after I wait an hour and a half they tell me the tires we ordered won t fit and tried to sell me different tires that were $50 more per tire and would not honor the quote that I received. Poor sales tactics buyer beware! Business profits on the ignorant customers! Know what you re paying for or do not buy from this company!

Always helpful, and very fair prices. Took in our van for another alignment and found it was only a radial pull. They rotated tires and it fixed it. No charge.

These guys really take care of you. We've only had good experiences there and they work quickly!!Update 5 years later: These guys still offer EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I am so thankful they are here in Lufkin.

Best car service center in town, oil changes, alignments, new tires, re-tred, foam filling, they work on ALL makes and models including big rigs, ATVs, RV'S and much more, Kyle, Blake, Will and their staff will take care of you and treat ya right.

Cooks Tire Shop has the BEST customer service EVER. They are better than Chick fil A. I could not imagine using another tire shop. They will have my life long tire business.

I was a first time customer today and very impressed. Super friendly, very professional. Today they were celebrating their 40th Anniversary so I got $75.00 off the total price. They had free burgers, chips, drinks and a lot of freebies.......pens, pencils, key chains, notepads, calenders and other Items I didn't look at.They do total full service on your vehicle. I definitely will go back for all my service needs.I highly recommend.

Just learned that Cory Riley is working at Cook Tire Center. If you need anything tires, alignment, or balance (and other things) stop by ask for Cory and he'll take care of it.Service is friendly, quick, and reasonable. You won't go wrong.

I really cannot say enough nice things about Cook Tire in Lufkin. They always do an amazing job, and have the greatest customer service I've ever experienced in anything auto-related. They also have the best prices around for every service, I go to Cook for every oil change! From day 1 they have gone above and beyond, and every experience is even better than the last! Loyal Cook Tire customer for life right here!

Had an issue with my tires and was out of town. Had an emergency situation and they got me in first thing in the morning and had me on my way with in two hours. Got everything done in a timely manner and the prices were great. Staff was hospitable, professional, and made you feel right at home. Would recommend this shop to anyone that needs tires or services, Thanks guys.

I had the best experience buying wheels and tires from Cook Tire! Our salesman, Kyle, went above and beyond to get our custom wheels shipped in overnight and make sure everything was ready for our daughter s Jeep in time for her 16th birthday. They also were $1500 cheaper than every other place in town. I would definitely recommend Cook Tire for your next set of tires and wheels. Great hometown service at an even better price!

Do NOT recommend at all. Took car in for an alignment and asked them to check out popping noise in rear. Came back with a list of expensive repairs some of which did not even relate to the type of vehicle I own. I do understand that my car did need work done on it but was it really even looked at. Needless to say I did not get my repairs done there but on a positive note they didn't charge me anything to look at it.

Very professional and highly recommend for all your auto service & repair needs! The level of professional from head mechanic while interacting with the other mechanics was very top notch and re assured me that they will take care of the problem and do it right the first time.Don't take your vehicle anywhere else in Lufkin Area.BEST AROUND!

Quick, quality service and good prices. Had a flat and they made it very easy to have the car towed and repaired. Less than two hours from calling them until I was back on the road.

They do not allow you to make an appointment for oil change and tire rotation so I waited 2.5 hrs for a service that takes 20 minutes.

On two separate occasions, once for tires and once for brakes, the folks at Cook have turned away my business because I didn't need what I thought I did. That sort of integrity is only one of the reasons I come back- they're friendly, prompt and do great work.

Their awesome roadside service got me out of a bind. ONSTAR had the nearest available service person was coming in 80-90 minutes and Cook's guy was able to arrive in less than 45 minutes. Great service!

My wife was at a Saturday soccer game when she heard a hissing noise from one of the tires. This was at 11:15 am. I called ahead to see if they could perhaps stay late since they closed at noon. They were very accommodating stating that we ll be here. I got the tire to them around 11:45. It was turned around and in my truck bed by noon. Balanced and ready to go! Did NOT want to drive around on that crazy accordion spare that Chrysler threw in there as an after thought. Thanks Cook Tire!!!
