I had such a good experience here! I called up and spoke with Rocky about getting my car fixed and he said to bring it in 1st thing in the morning. I got there bright and early and they started working on my car right away. They had it fixed up so quickly! Erin and Rocky were so friendly and helpful. They explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it. I will be using them for all my auto needs from here on out! :)

If you are in need of an honest and trustworthy mechanic/shop for your diesel, look no further!A truly refreshing experience. Brought my husband s f250 in for what was thought to be the start of transmission issues. When we got the call later that day, we were ready for bad news. Instead, Rocky informed us it was an issue between the computer and a tune being run. He told us what needed to be done and if that didn t work, where to take. In addition, he gave us a printout of the diagnostics he ran. It showed other non critical issues that could be addressed by my husband.We expected to pay at least a diagnostic fee but they did not charge us because they said they didn t fix it. Definitely a mechanic with integrity.

First of all, I don t ever take the time to leave reviews for anyone, anywhere. But Rocky and his wife deserve this one! TAKE YOUR POWERSTROKE HERE PERIOD. Communication 10/10 Above and beyond service 10/10. They got me out of a bind and opened up a bay just for me after randomly calling them on a Friday morning! Just talk to them they will fix you up! Rocky is the owner of this shop and is amazing at all diesel motors but especially power stroke. I have a Ford I take to him for everything and he is fair and honest. Don t waste your time or money anywhere else if you have a diesel.

My daughter was in town from Kansas City, Missouri, and enrolling at Texas Tech University. Her car overheated and went into reduced power mode. Obviously, it wasn t going to be driven back to Kansas City anytime soon, and I read Google reviews of auto repair shops near Texas Tech, and wrench Em came up with the highest rating. I called Rocky and his wife. We had the vehicle towed at a very reasonable rate to their shop, they diagnosed it as a pretty extensive internal engine water pump and timing chain assembly repair. I then travel down to Lubbock to pick my daughter and wife up, as we left the car with Wrench Em. Within a few days, Rocky contacted us with the cost estimate for the repair. Based on what I googled about the said repair as far as parts and labor hours to complete it, It was very fair and reasonable and told him to proceed. Very long story short a week or so later we drove back to Lubbock, stayed overnight pick the car up and drove it straight back to Kansas City with absolutely no issues. 11 hours, in temperatures of around 100-107 the entire way home. If you're shopping for a diesel tech you can quit now. Just call them. You won't find a better team anywhere. Lubbock is lucky to have them.My name is Alan and I am from Illinois. The short version is I was in a bind 14 hours from home and these kind folks did everything they could to get me back on the road, and I will never forget it. They could have told me no, but they jumped in with both feet to get me going. I will never forget what they did for me and how professional they are. If I lived closer they would get every ounce of my business.Long version, I was on my way to Lubbock from Sweetwater on a Wednesday and my truck gives a message I have 150 miles before it goes into limp mode, which means no more than 5 mph. It's a fairly new truck so I go to the Dodge dealer first and they told me me what I expected to hear, we can get it in a week from now. Rocky at Wrench'em did the exact opposite.My sons wedding festivities were to begin in illinois on Friday evening, I was pulling a 16' refrigerated trailer and had no other options, I was panicking. They jumped right on the faulty DEF injector, fought through obstacles the whole way.I made it back home an hour before the festivities began. I don't know how to thank all of the wonderful folks at Wrench'em properly. You are in very good hands at Wrench'em so quit searching.Services: Engine repair, Auto exhaust system replacement

Everyone here is so kind and helpful! My husband and I have both had great experiences taking our cars here. They go above and beyond to find what needs to be fixed, and to fix the car at the best price they can. We really feel like they care about us and they know what they're doing. I will be taking my car here from now on!

I m new to town and was in need of a mechanic for my Diesel, and I didn t regret it for a second. Rocky and his team put together a game plan with the exhaust system that I brought with me to have installed along with a couple other repairs, and executed it perfectly. Rocky had great communication with me throughout the whole process to help determine the direction we wanted to go to get the job done. Came in from out of town and my power steering pump had an issue. We needed to get to Fort Hood TX the next day for the birth of our Grandson. Rocky was great. He told me if I got it in he could fix it that day. He actually stayed open late to make sure our 2008 Chevy 2500HD was ready for the trip the following day. I asked him why he stayed open and he told me "I told you I would get your truck done and that's what I did". What a great work ethic that you just don't see much anymore. My father used to say "a man's only as good as his word". Rocky lives that. Erin his wife was equally as great and cut this Navy retiree a couple breaks. Mom and Pop place that does quality work and are good honest people. We got to Fort Hood the next day and we're present for the birth of our grandson Zackary and we owe it all to Rocky and Erin. This is an amazing and honest shop. We tried all over town before finding these guys. Rocky is the owner and technician and is a great mechanic and great guy. They specialize in Diesel engine repair and mostly power strokes. I have a 6.0 and have tons of stuff done here and problems that other shops missed. He did injectors, oil cooler, head gaskets, head, piston, and glow plugs. It is like a whole new truck now. Best of all he stands behind his work and will make it right if something he did ever happens to not work. His wife works in the front and she is great too. We have become friends now and I have not ever felt like they were trying to make my ticket bigger. It s a breathe of fresh air to find a good honest shop in town that works on diesels. I have never had a worse experience with a car shop. If you're a college student I do not recommend this place. I had a new car issue that started the day I picked my car up from them and they claimed in was a "coincidence". 0/5 starsEdit* I brought my car back for y all to have the ABS issue which was supposed to be a coincidence fixed. I should have been notified before spending OVER $1,200 at this place that y all did not have the correct software to correctly code the check engine light on my car. Also, my 15 year old car is that supposed to be an insult? Bad customer service and owners who didn t treat someone giving them business and a lot of money with respect. Don t recommend at all.Service: Brakes

This place is GREAT!!! Rocky and his wife run a fantastic business. He is honest, knowledgeable, and only wants to do what is best for you. All of that, and they are as reasonable as they come. Rocky is very professional. And he is affordable too. I replaced my AC compressor and condenser. This is their family own business. Their behavior is nice and friendly. And they offer student discount and vet discount. Our Silverado 3500 had issues starting. After getting stranded out of town and getting towed to Wreck Em Auto Repair we had the pleasure of working with Rocky. This guy is genuine, hardworking, and honest. The truck decided it didn t want to be broken anymore and just kept starting right up with no codes mystery remains on that front but Rocky s professionalism and integrity is amazing. They have our business from here on out. Recently had repairs done on my power stroke. Best place to go in town! I have had work done on my 6.0 at other shops and they just don t compare to Wrench Em Up s honesty, work and prices. My diesel had a/c compressor, fuel pump, injectors and a head replaced. She runs and sounds great!

To All Texas Tech Parents and Students; If your in need of honest auto repair or a quote then you need to call Wrench 'Em Auto Repair first. I consider them part of our Red Raider Family now. My son's Nissan Altima was not driveable and sitting in the dorm parking lot. Rocky was kind enought to stop by after work, meet my son and get the car back on the road...and all at a great price especially for a student. All I can say is that Rocky gets it. As a dad...he gets it. Living in DFW, 5 hours away and knowing that my son in Lubbock has someone to call if he gets into a jam again with his car is peace of mind. Thank You Wrench "Em Auto Repair. I'm a college student who doesn't know much about cars and one day my engine had overheated. I brought it to Wrench Em and they were so nice and fixed the issue which ended up being a small thing. I highly recommend them especially if you are a college student and have no idea what to do like me.
