My oil light came on the previous night and I knew I needed an oil change. Browsed around to find a place that opened early in the morning to ensure I would be able to make it to work on time. I arrived at the Auto Center by 7:05 and was checking out (oil change done by 7:30. I am impressed with the level of service that I received. Will definitely keep the Auto Center in mind for any future car needs.

They're very short staffed. Decent customer service if you're able to be seen. Scheduled an appointment in store with an associate for the next day, she said it would be at 7am. The next morning I arrived at 7 and they were still closed, I waited a bit and by 7:30 I decided to just go in the store and track down a manager. The manager was very kind, explained that that they're short staffed and helped me find another store that could fix my tire. I went to the Walmart on 82nd & Milwaukee and was seen instantly. If you're not in a rush to get your car seen, this store isn't a terrible option.

I came here for oil change and they messed up my vehicle and caused oil leak. They pulled out splash guard and not replaced. I will never do oil change at Walmart again.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

This is the second time I've used Walmart for my car. The first time was early in the morning before a trip, the guy patched up my car no problem. So nice as well! The second time is why I'm writing a review. Two associates, Damian and Justin, are two people I would consider to have Grade-A customer service! Quick and helpful, making sure I was aware of everything- with a bit of humor to calm my nerves of having to buy a new tire. Great people - wonderful service!

2022 Walked in and the service manager greeted me - Cameron. Needed to get a new battery and rear wiper replacement. Everyone was very friendly and I received quick service2019 they were short staffed as called around to another Wal-Mart to get me fixed quickly. Had to stop in and get a tire looked at via road hazard (ALWAYS get the #roadhazard). Turned out the tired needed to be replaced and the service guys explained why and what they could do prior to just replacing (this is a huge step that most skip over and just replace it) The service was quick and easy, even considering it was fairly busy. Overall, great experience and might make this my go to Walmart car care center...maybe.

Entered store with intent to get a battery. No employees present, when one was found he was non-engaging and stated if we could jot find the item it ment they didn't have it. I ended up going to Battery Joe to get my battery.

Worst service ever. They took 3 hours to have an inspection on my flat tire and eventually suggested me to get a new one. The technician left right after getting my car done so the staffs had to figure out the paperwork themselves. They got things mixed up with another vehicle and had to go back and fix it. It was truly a mess and very unprofessional. I wasted my 3 hours here waiting.

Justin, Abraham, Dave and Daniel were fantastic - I was in and out with little hassle and they took care of a problem with my battery like champs. All 4 of them were very professional and friendly despite being so busy. Will recommend to friends.

Nice people. The manager, Joe, helped me look for some tools to help change my license plates. He even took his time to help me find the ones that fit. When none of them fit, he had his employee, Raymond, change them for me at no cost at all! I was impressed.

Once they showed up to run a cash register it was good. But 3 of us stood there 5 minutes before I called store to ask where they were . Another 5 minutes and they took my money . Be a little more efficient is my only ...

Very satisfied with the service I was given. Took care of me once they heard what my situation was. Didn t wait there much long, maybe 15 minutes tops. This will be the Walmart auto center I will continue to go to!

They get the job done well...when their technicians are available. The only qualm I have is that the dept. hours should be changed to reflect tech scheduled hours (looking at you, Corporate/store mgmt). It's a minor inconvenience only, and it CAN be remedied by making a purchase and taking said purchase to another location. All in all, rated 4 of 5.

I was informed that only one of the Wal-Mart Auto Care Centers in Lubbock, and it obviously wasn't this one, continues working on repairing flat tires... something about being shut down for some reason that I'm still not really clear on. Things that make you go "hmmm..."

Do NOT take your car to the automotive section. Do NOT take your car there for an oil change. I did on July the 5th. I will never do it again. 4 months later, on the 3rd of November, the oil was bone dry. My check oil light came on briefly at night, and I took it to work to have the guys check it. They said it was dry, the car was ready to explode, and they changed the oil for me (at work, not Walmart). I drive the car a total of 16 miles a day to commute back and forth to work, and occasionally take it for a spin on the weekends. No wear and tear was put on my car. The only damage was done by the shifty automotive section at Walmart. DO NOT GO TO THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTION. DO NOT GO TO THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTION.

I took in one(1) wheel to get a new tire put on. At the time I arrived there was one car getting its oil changed no one else. I brought the tire inside got a quote and got the tire 1:57 min later my tire was finished. It is ridiculous how long it takes for them to do anything, as I was asking how much longer was it going to take another person was asking to get a oil change the sales associate told him it would be an hour or hour and a half

Went to Pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. Can't tell you about auto center. But, they have one of the friendliest most helpful pharmacies in all of the country.

I pulled up at 4:30 p.m and no one was at the counter. In fact not even in the garage.Sign said that they closed at 6 p.m. Turns out that when there is only one technician they have to close.

I HAD TO LEAVE AND GO TO M&M BODY SHOP AND GET MY SPARE TIRE ON BECAUSE, WHEN I PULLED UP AND WAITED ABOUT 20 MINS, ANOTHER NICE CUSTOMER CAME UP TO MY WINDOW AND SAID SHE JUST CAME FROM INSIDE WHERE ONE TECHNICIAN SAID HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WORKING TODAY AND SO THEY WILL NOT BE OPENING UP AT 'ALL' TODAY! THAT SOUNDS LIKE BAD BUSINESS TO ME. WHAT YOU THINK??

Below average employees. You have to get management to get anything done. I've never called management EVER, but at this Walmart auto care center I had to call management to get 1 tire replaced, and I had a warranty, which I read to ensure I'd get my tire replaced. Word of advice management: PLEASE train your service men and women on warranties.
