I went to Take 5 after they bought out Bolton years ago. It was so bad that I didn't go back even after they offered me a free oil change. Bolton had been my go to for many years. Take 5 ruined them. I tried going back a couple years ago to see if they had improved at all and they were so awful that I left before I even let them work on my car. I went back again finally yesterday to see what's changed. I know, I know, I'm an idiot for giving them another chance. First, their prices are so high that I paid more for this oil change than I did for my last oil change somewhere else even though Bolton offered a $20 off coupon and even though I got an air filter last time. So I paid more for less even with a discount. That's how expensive they are. Then, everybody there acted annoyed that I was there. Nobody was friendly. They acted like I kidnapped their kids just because I asked how much it would be before I let them get started. They had the audacity to indicate on the paperwork that they cleaned my windows even though they didn't touch them. Same with the tires. They never touched them but claimed they were fine. Bolton always cleaned my windows while I was in line before I even got to the oil change. Bolton used to offer a drink while you waited. They most definitely didn't offer me a drink. To top it all off, they started sending me marketing text messages even though they never got my permission, which is super illegal. Any of you out there with litigation skills might consider a class action lawsuit for that. I don't know how this place has remained in business now 5 years after they ruined one of our best local businesses ever but we should all be ashamed for continuing to allow them to screw people over. BOYCOTT TAKE 5!

Very fast service, at lunch time even!Very good crew...everyone worked together doing every customer in order.Respectful , patient, and knowledgeable.I was watching them, working to make sure there was no mistakes. 2 people on each car.They didn't mind answering my questions.I highly recommend!

Kind and friendly service also super fast ! Loved that I didn t need to exit my vehicle for my oil change. The two people who helped me that Friday morning were awesome. They topped off some of my liquids and even checked my tires air pressure

If I could have done 0 stars I would have. I got my oil changed yesterday before leaving for Houston. Not even half way to Houston my oil light comes on. I pull over at a truck stop. My oil filters wasn t put back on tight and was barely hanging on. I m lucky it didn t completely fall off. This is she second time I ve got to Take 5 and the second time I ve had issues similar. I tried to call the location I went to and the phone just has a busy signal, so I called the corporate number and get a message that that line has been disconnected. Pathetic customer service. Issues like these could be life or death. PLEASE go somewhere else, anywhere else to get your oil changed!

Both gentlemen were friendly, polite and professional. David was exceptional with explaining what was done and why. He allowed me to make decisions and did not come off as pushy. I enjoyed my visit. Great job, keep these employees!!

Give these guys raises. The crew working around 2:30 pm on 10-16-23 did a great job! They were very professional, very responsive and friendly. Great customer service as well. The guy who did my oil change not only did an outstanding job but he offered to clear the oil change message off my vehicle which has never been offered before at any other take 5. And is actually helpful. Also warned me about a small oil leak around the rear main seal. Wish I could say more, but I was very pleased with my service here. Excellent job

When I first started going there a long time ago I would get my car dried off when I came out and if it was still dirty I could always run it through again can't do that anymore and they never dried off for you you have to do all that yourself now. Which is good for people who want that. But there's a lot of us who love the full service. What little bit we get or used to get now we don't get any.

Great staff and quick. I always get my stuff handled at lunch and have never been late back to work. My only complaint is that the sticker doesn't have the mileage you need it changed but the mileage you got the oil change. That threw me and I went in too early. The staff is great so I don't think you need a lower rating for that

I used to get my car all clean and now it doesn't even get dried. I pay every month from my account. Then they want to charge me extra because I haven't taken my car to get washed. It's not your business when I get it washed your taken money out of my account. Today was my last day moving on somewhere else.

When I first got there I was given a cold water without asking for it. Throughout the whole time there I was treated with respect. The staff was friendly and easy to tell what services I needed. I even got a cab filtered replaced. I didn't even know it was there. LOL. Thank you!!

This Ave Q location had really rude and unprofessional employees. The one asking what I wanted mocked me for not knowing exactly what oil I needed this time. They also said they are not supposed to accept coupons because their product was already cheap enough. This was a coupon sent to me via email by Take 5 themselves. Additionally, they removed and left my wiper fluid cap hanging off and left it empty. Avoid the Avenue Q location at all costs.The location off the south loop on Quaker has kind and helpful employees.

I went to get my inspection done and it was packed. I understood there was gonna be a wait but man the workers were so friendly. They offered me a water and it took 10min for the inspection to be done, including waiting time. I was shocked how fast they were and how they managed to multitask.

I am from Portales. My truck was plenty overdue for an Oil change. The first place I came to was TAKE 5. Their facility was clean and the employees were very friendly and they changed the oil did a good job I recommend take five serious

Was very unsatisfied. They did not check my wipers nor clean my windows ! The guy who changed by cabin filter left oil prints on the glove box , I m sure he sold me the most expensive oil brand / type . I had to ask him to check my tires . Will not be going back ever ! Went in to have the viscosity of my oil checked. After 6K miles, it looked good. I will add another 1,000 miles before changing it. The crew added air to my tires and gave me some water. I plan to go back for a full oil change when needed.

First time i took my car into Take 5 before I got back to my office my car was smoking because a gasket busted and they hadn't noticed it. The last time I took it in for an oil change (and paid for extra oil) and told them i was about to head out of town. Made it to Sweetwater from Lubbock and car started tripping out. Pulled over to check it out and found that my car had zero oil in it. I will not be returning.

Went thru the car wash once after another. Still failed to clean my car. Won't go backNever washed my test window at all and had to have the station helper to receash the side of my car and scrub around the gas tank opening. Good thing my car was not real dirty. Seems the whole thing does not work. Waste of my time and of coarse money's

The employees are nice and do good job, however recently it has been taking at least 20 mins while waiting in line for your turn. It shouldn t be called take 5.

They changed my oil, it was the assistant manager she was very professional and her helper was very polite and well explanatory she has a great team, and it took no more then minutes and that's because it was cold and very busy, they deserve a nice raise, that's if you want to keep such great employees.. and very friendly my husband and my self have been using take 5 for years but this is one of your great team work I have experienced.. thank you guys from take 5 on ave Q.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement
