Had a truly delightful experience getting a pre-purchase inspection done on a used Porsche at a local dealership. I'm from out of town, but the woman I spoke to over the phone, Linda, was extremely friendly and professional - a real joy to work with. I seriously looked forward to calling them and interacting with them (and I normally hate dealing with car stuff over the phone). They were able to get the inspection scheduled quickly, handled all the details, and did a VERY thorough inspection for a very reasonable price. The car I was interested in *appeared* to be in pristine condition inside and out, but they found multiple serious mechanical issues with the car that would have saddled me with over $10k in repairs had I been taken for a sucker by the dealer, who assured me they had inspected the car at their service center and vouched that it was in sound mechanical condition - a total lie (never trust a car dealer!!!). I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so good it warranted a special thanks. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Spallholz Motorwerks again.

Completely satisfied with their work, communication and timeliness. Thought for sure my car would be in the shop for a week and they fixed it in two days. Couldn't be happier! Highly recommend!!

They are fantastic people, first off. They really know foreign cars. They have tech that specialize in foreign cars. Yes, they are higher than you might expect to pay but I get much better care for my car. For the record, I have a Mini Cooper.Bailey is usually the tech I get because he owns and drives Minis among other European cars. Aside from knowing these inside and out, he is a genuinely good guy. Every tech I have met there is super nice and seems to really care that I am informed.Yep you do get what you pay for and it s worth a little extra to me.

As a college student, Spallholz has been my saving grace! They have consistently provided me with great service for over three years. Yesterday, I was quoted for a $2500 repair, which wasn't necessarily detrimental to my vehicle - meaning I could live with it if it didn't bother me. That was really a moment of relief, and I was extremely grateful for the honest service displayed in a moment where I could have been taken advantage of. I am constantly recommending this shop to friends, they are awesome! Thank you to Linda, Brian, Bailey, and the whole Spallholz team.

I appreciate the Spallholz Moterwerks team they did a great and quick job on my service. Even got a ride to the hotel I was staying at, and picked back up after the service was complete. I have had my Mercedes C300 in for diagnostics and repair at Spallholz Motoworks on three separate occasions. Each and every time the staff was very friendly and performed the needed repairs. From Linda at the front desk to the Technicians everyone was very helpful. I can highly recommend Spallholz for any service needed on you European automobile!Service: Auto engine tuning

Outstanding service! Took an N54 powered BMW in to get the brake light off of the dash and recieved all of the things that were overdue, or soon to need attention. Pricing is what is to be expected when dealing with European vehicles, but I did not have to argue with a salesman, nor did they try and upsell the additional work. It was professional and they would perform as much or as little work as I authorized! They even went above and beyond and took one of the wheels to the tire shop, and picked it up and reinstalled so I wouldn't have to make that trip (we don't live in Lubbock). Glad I found this shop!!

Good communication. Ran into additional problem after 1st completion, however completed repair and was out in fairly timely manner. Expensive, but expected. Would use them again.

I have a Land Rover and called this shop to see if they would be able to perform a certain service on my vehicle. The receptionist lady answered with why would you buy this car, you re in for a world of problems, did you get a warranty I had to stop her and tell her I m just looking for an answer to my question. She answered and that was it. But now it made me not want to even go to this shop and just make a trip out of town if needed. I didn t ask for life advice or her non professional opinion on my vehicle. Should be thanking me for possibly bringing them in more money

Amazing service! Above and beyond expectations. Knowledgeable, and more importantly, they take the time to explain issues in layman s terms. Nice to have somebody locally who can do Land Rover service. Have already referred 2 friends. Hope to see this business flourish and expand. Will definitely return for needs in the future!

Mr. Spallholz has been our Mercedes mechanic for several years. I have always found him to be thorough, honest, and accurate in his work. His prices have always been fair. His office staff communicates really well.Once, he told me some linkage was worn out, which was not why I had brought the van in. Being a sceptic of the upsell , I reluctantly agreed to have it fixed. After the repair, the van drove MUCH better. My point is that He seems very honest in the work he recommends.I highly recommend these folks.

Terrible service the old bat that handle's the customers has the worse attitude I have ever encountered. She should retire if this is how she handles customers worst autoshop in Lubbock anywhere would be better then this place and I mean anywhere else would be better.

Best mechanics shop for European cars in Lubbock. Bring your BMW, Mercedes, Porsche or Volvo and have their experienced mechanics diagnose and fix it right the 1st time. Very knowledgeable and honest mechanic shop.

Brian and his crew are first rate people and mechanics. I had some work done on my 20 year old Mercedes and couldn't be happier with the results. Brian will treat you fairly and honestly.

Absolutely the best. Completely upfront about repairs, costs and timeline, and did not disappoint on any front. Brian and his team will be the only shop I will take my Mercedes GL450.

They had My car for months and hundreds of miles on it. After many months 3 times back in the shop and $10,000 later my car still doesn't run right. They try to charge me 3 or $4000 everytime I take it back. Labor quote was fair, but I didn t get a good vibe from this place. They quoted me $150 for 5 gallons of coolant, assuming I didn t realize that the coolant is concentrate and supposed to be diluted. They also tried to tell me I may need a new engine mount, which I find to be highly unlikely.

Terrible customer service. Linda up front is very disrespectful. I was talked down to before even filling out a form. Do yourself a favor and do not take your business here. walked out and left in 3 minutes.

Wife went in to ask why the brake pads they installed didn't last 2 years and she got attitude from one of the mechanics and the lady behind the counter ask if she was using it to deliver tamales. Don't know why that would matter and she isn't even Mexican, she's Asian.
