I called this shop on the recommendation of a coworker. I took my car in because the wipers weren't working. Things are kind of tight right now and I just knew this repair would be expensive.Much to my surprise, the gentlemen at this location called me shortly after I dropped my car off and said it was fixed!It was something super small and they were so kind! They have gained all my business for life.Thank you!!

Scott s is great! I can t recommend them enough.I originally came in because my battery had died, and AutoZone told me it was getting enough voltage.I knew I had a loose idler pulley, but I was pretty sure the alternator had issues as well. They replaced the belt and pulley, but assured me the alternator was giving enough voltage.Unfortunately, the alternator did end up failing 700 miles later. I was initially confused why they told me the alternator was good, so talked with some mechanics I m friends with in Houston. Since there was a new battery and belt, the voltage reading wouldn t have shown that the alternator was starting to fail.I m actually very appreciative that they didn t try to sell me an alternator when they believed that I didn t need it, even though I eventually did. Most other shops seem to always try to sell repairs you don t actually need.They put in a new alternator for a very reasonable price, but after getting the car back a check engine light came on for an O2 sensor. Although bad wiring from a previous repair was likely the cause (used car), they covered the cost of the O2 sensor since they couldn t prove it wasn t their fault.Most honest shop I ve worked with and they ll continue to be my go-to mechanic in Lubbock.

We were traveling through Lubbock on a trip from Canada to Mexico and ran into a couple of vehicle issues. We arrived at the shop without an appointment and the wonderful folks there were able to get us fixed up and on our way in the same morning. Excellent, honest service and reasonable prices!

I have never used Scott's Complete Car Care and was in a bind due to a faulty starter. I took my keys to them at noon and my car was ready to drive away by 5. The service was friendly, the mechanic was very knowledgeable, and the pricing was fair. I can't say enough about how great my experience was. They went above and beyond to get me on the road again. I have a 1990 dodge ram 150d that use to be my dads. Every now in then it needs some care due to its age. Ive been to several shops around town. All great service and mechanics, just real pricey. My first time with Scott's and I got everything I needed done at a great price compared to many others I have used. That same week jiffy lube changed my oil in a v6 car i own,no fancy oil, for around 100 dollars. Scott's did my v8 truck in the 40s$ range!!! They were busy and for the several things I had fixed and done, including my ac, it was out in just a few days. They have won my service. Great staff, knowledgeable mechanics, convenient locations in lubbock. Thanks Scott's. --- 90 dodge ram owner

I have taken my car to Scott's twice now when I got the scary Check Engine light. The key is to take your car in to them as early after they open as possible. Both times I dropped my car off early in the morning and had a phone call from them the same day with an update. They are fast, reliable, and very kind. I can t say enough good things about this company! About a month ago all of my lights came on and my car was not drivable. I took it to a different care place and they said it would be 2 weeks before they could even looked at it, and that was with an appointment. I then brought it to Scott s complete car care and they found the problem and solved the issue within a day! They are so kind and hard working!Today my car wouldn t start and my battery was completely dead. They came to my house, jumped my car and lead me to their shop. They offered to fix it right then for me so I wouldn t be inconvenienced . Absolutely amazing company filled with amazing people.

I'm never going to go back THERE. I aid almost $600 for Air conditioning that doesn't work & it wasn't even 3 day's after it stop working & i took 2 cats 4 services AROUND the same TIME so I did not know all this was going to happen 2 me me but the OTHER car I took I DON'T have ANYMORE because I took it on a Monday by Tuesday I was junking it & couldn't prove what happened 2 it. That was my favorite CAR it had less the 90miles never gave me any problems I would not recommend this place 2 my enemy.....

Scott's is always a good place to go. I went in today to get my vehicle inspected. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. I will come back in the future. Both locations offer great service.

I had a coolant line break on the loop and Iwas able to exit off and make it into Scotts.Engine was smoking and starting to overheat. I was greeted in a friendly manner and assured that they would find my problem. An hour later I received a call with my problem and a quoteto fix it. I approved the repair. I sent my car in for a oil pan gasket leak. To get to it you had to take the exhaust down, got my car back. The check engine, light was on. The code that showed up was for the 02 sensor, the same 02 sensor they had to remove on the exhaust. I took it back, they said it wasn't anything they could have done, cleared the code to turn off my check engine light, and sent me on my way. I was very disappointed, I had read good things about them. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone in the future.

I brought a friend in who was driving from California to Tennessee with an old pick-up truck. He was having transmission problems. The mechanic at Scott's diagnosed and tested the truck for half an hour. Made recommendations on who to see. All at no charge. Great people.

I go to gig hes a very good mechanic. Very well knowledgeable about Crown Victoria's. That shop used to work on Crown Victoria's for LPD.
