My partner and I live in Houston and drove to Lubbock, Texas (8-hour drive) to purchase a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport that was held for us. We drove there, picked up the vehicle, and drove back.When we arrived, there were scuff marks on the door interior trims and paint was scratched from coming off the truck. The dealership guaranteed they could have it taken care of the next day since the service department was closing for the day. We said that s fine since we had to leave the following day in the morning to begin our drive back home.The next day we got a call in the evening letting us know the vehicle wasn t quite ready because the paint had to dry. However, we would be able to pick it up in the morning to begin our drive home. Sounds good.The next morning when we received the vehicle, we noticed the scuffs in the interior were still visible, and the scratch on the exterior paint was buffed into a smear. Since we were short on time, we had no choice but to drive our brand-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek back home in its existing condition.After arriving home, we realized we never received our wheel-locks we purchased for $199 suggested to us and that the PSI on each of our tires on the Subaru app were overinflated at 50 psi. We were not sure if this was normal for the vehicle since it was new and we are not car savvy. During the sale we were upsold on wheel-locks for $199. The same wheel-locks are sold for $54.95 at the dealership in my area.We contacted the dealership to let them know and they apologized and would have it shipped via Fed-ex.Overall, we were grateful the dealership held the vehicle for us since it was not in stock at many dealerships in Texas. However, the mishaps that followed made us feel somewhat regretful of our decision selecting this dealership because our vehicle didn't come out as we hoped for a brand-new vehicle. Our safety was put at risk because proper maintenance was not followed for deflating the air of the tires after coming off the truck. (We drove 8 hours on tires overinflated at 50 psi. Accidentally driving over a pothole could have led to a serious accident.) Scuffs were still visible on the interior door trims and the scratch on the exterior paint was buffed into a smear mark. The overpriced wheel-locks we were upsold on were never received. Communications attempts inquiring about the whereabouts of our wheels were ignored.

This is my the best car dealer anywhere. I drive from Midland, Texas to Lubbock every six month to get my car serviced and I wouldn t have it any other way. There is a local dealer in Midland but it does not compare to the treatment I ve received in Lubbock. When it s time to go get my check up, I put my playlist on, have my private concert and before long I m pulling up to Subaru of Lubbock. So, if you re looking for a professional, knowledgeable, fun group of team players, cruse on down to Subaru of Lubbock and let them handle all your car need. I am so happy taking my vehicle here, I couldn t see myself shopping anywhere else for a dependable Subaru.

This dealer provides an attractive, clean, and comfortable customer waiting. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and helpful. The mechanics appear to take pride in leaving the vehicle as clean or cleaner than it was when it arrived. In the eight years we have gone here for service, we have had zero complaints. I wish we had dealt with this dealership for much longer than we have.

I made an appointment for an oil change and was told I would need to wait a couple hours for my car to be serviced. The service manager basically just told me that s the way it is. Appointments don t really mean anything. Very poor business. We had a great experience with the dealership in Birmingham but we will not be returning here.

We have been very blessed by having this dealership service our Subaru. Last year, they helped us with a frustrating fiasco caused by an auto center in our town. The staff in Lubbock who we have dealt with have been helpful, caring, and honest. Our only complaint is we wish the dealership would move to Roswell instead of Lubbock to save us a drive. We love our Subaru, especially in the mountains near us. Thank you for being there for us.

Got a good deal on our first Subaru, But BUYER BEWARE at this dealership. Our car had a missing key which we were not told about until after signing. The rear bumper was missing all attachment hardware on the sides. Did not notice until I went to fill tires with air 3 weeks after purchase. Missing other various body trim pieces and hardware, Upon closer inspection. My battery is now almost dead and the car has trouble starting a month after purchase. I was led on by the 130 point inspection scam they offer. Promised other things but probably won t see those. It was in the shop for AC issues and a few times it barely wanted to start. Inspect everything before buying a Subaru from here do your research.

Unless you have 0 plans for the day and don t mind starving this is the perfect place for service. Waiting 4 hours for an oil change and a mandatory update is not worth coming here. You ll never see this face again. If I could rate a negative star I would.

John was very helpful, informative, and patient throughout the entire process of looking for and buying a car! It was my first car that I purchased and 100% plan on going back to John when I am ready for a new one! All the staff at Subaru were helpful, kind, and professional! Was the best experience and more of what I could have asked for!

Scoggin Dickey Subaru did not disappoint. My car was delivered ahead of schedule, price was beyond fair, the finance department got me an excellent rate and I cannot say enough about Cesar and Matt! We drove 8 hours for our deal and will again.

I dealt with a heavy set man I believe named Perez, could be the office he came out of but he doesn't speak English great. He told me they do not under any circumstances negotiate. Every response was my " My boss won't". He tried to apply 4 thousand dollars on MRSP. He also doesn't understand cars don't move while the emergency parking is applied. I bought same car for 4,500 dollars less in Amarillo. I understand making money but know whos a kid and who's a man. Guy was a terrible.

Parts were ~25% cheaper than my local dealership. I ordered two parts. I wish they would combine the parts into one package rather than ship separately. My parts were shipped on the same day but arrived two days apart because one package didn't get on the delivery truck by cut off time.The last package that arrived looked like its been thrown around onto the ground or something similar. Nearly open on one end. Worst it was damaged. A metal tab was bent out of place. Rather than lose out on shipping plus restock fee, I was able to bend the metal back.Dissapointed they would ship a damaged part.

I had a wonderful experience with this dealership. The salesperson (Cesar) took the time needed to go over the vehicle I purchased, the test drive, answered all of my questions, and spent about 30 minutes with me when I picked up my new vehicle going over ALL the buttons. The other salesperson (Brittani) popped in and chatted when Cesar needed to go get paperwork signed and approved. The finance manager was very patient and explained (very well and in plain English) the finer points of the warranties and maintenance. This is what the car buying experience should be. I am from the Houston area that has a mandatory price uplift on vehicles. I happened to be in Lubbock for a parents' weekend and found my way to buying a new car from the team at Scoggin Dickey. I highly recommend them.

Went to Subaru the other day for car key repair and door window acting up crazy. Christine Sanders, service advisor, came and helped us fixed the door window quick and easy . Always happy with subaru Lubbock. Highly recommend. 10 stars for you guys

My experience at Scoggin-Dickey was amazing. During the process of buying my car all of the staff were patient, flexible, and answered all my many questions. Brittani and all of the staff understood what I wanted and did not push for anything I was not comfortable with. They got me a good price on the car I wanted without any unnecessary additional fees and went above and beyond in everything down to the little details. They got me the car I wanted and delivered it right to my door. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Ordered new car on-line, picking all the options I wanted. Called the dealership and double checked everything was correct, gave them a small refundable amount to hold the car. They gave me a date when it should be in transit to the dealership. Salesperson gave me weekly updates and the car showed up a few days early, we came to an agreement on sales price and trade-in amount and I stopped by to sign the papers. Easy, no hassle, no pressure, no usual salesperson tricks experience!

Until last month, I had taken my Subaru to Scoggin-Dickey for service for every oil change except one (August 2022). A few weeks ago, I was in too much of a hurry to set an appointment at Scoggin-Dickey and went to Take 5 where they told me that I DID NOT HAVE AN ENGINE AIR FILTER IN MY CAR!! I saw for myself and personally removed a piece of tumbleweed where my air filter should have been. The previous service the car received was 2/27/23 at Scoggin-Dickey. They claim a multi-point inspection. Sadly, I don't have any idea how long the air filter has been missing.Lubbock had been having terrible dust storms for months. Now my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek with only 60k+ miles smokes a little on start-up if it has set for a while. I emailed Scoggin-Dickey a few weeks ago a never received a reply from the service department.

Some delay in buying process due to recall and wait for parts. Not the fault of dealership. The service department at this dealer is OUTSTANDING. I traded a Mercedes for the Outback and am very happy with my decision.

I ve already shared a review-but- this wanted me to share again soooo ya! Still telling everyone I know to go to S-D, and ask for John Medina!! (Give that man a raise!!!!!)I m still in heaven with this Crosstrek!! Never thot I would love anything bigger than a Mini Cooper or a Honda SI 2 door-or anything that was not a standard!So LOVVVE my Subie!! Don t think I ll ever drive anything ever again!!!
