The Safelite location on South Loop 289 always takes care of my glass repairs. With all the construction throughout the town, rock chips seem to be a more common issue. The technicians at this location always provide good quality service both in customer and repair. Scheduling has never been an issue through my insurance or calling the store directly. The wait time hasn't ever conflicted with my schedule, they are efficient. Thanks!!

I have had several window issues over the last few years. They have replaced my front window from a crack and reconfigured my driving safety measures in a timely manner. I had a crack recently fixed, and they did an amazing job!

Safelite replaced my broken windshield here in Lubbock Texas.They did an outstanding job in regards to the fit, form and placement of the new glass and surrounding trim. However, they scratched the hood of my car during the glass install. I was instructed not to wash my vehicle for several days to give the sealant time to dry. Upon washing, I immediately noticed the scratches.I took my vehicle back to Safelite and the on-duty tech acknowledged the fresh damage and stated that he would have the store manager contact me.I waited a couple of weeks and never heard from the manager. I emailed their corporate office advising them of the problem and they too failed to respond. I was deeply disappointed with their failure to take responsibility for the damage they caused. I am currently disputing a portion of the credit card payment in order to have my vehicle repaired.I cannot dispute the quality of their workmanship but, if they damage your vehicle in the process, don't expect them to take responsibility for the damage they caused.

Had the technician come and change out the windshield while I was at work. I received constant text updates of who would be arriving and when. He was able to come earlier than scheduled and let me know that. Did a good job setting my expectations of what would be done and how to take care of the windshield afterwards. Even went the extra mile to clean all my windows to go with the new clean windshield. He went above and beyond, excellent customer service, completed quickly, great communication. Victor was amazing! Great service and easy to schedule online!

***UPDATE*** It has been another week and still haven't heard from anyone from Safelite about the part that was broken***I scheduled an appointment for my wife's VW and they came out and replaced the windshield-the installer was great-thorough and meticulous. Unfortunately he broke a piece on the driver sun visor, a clip that holds it up. Purely an accident and he told me right away. He got on speakerphone to tell his supervisor what happened and order the part-I was there, I heard the conversation. It's been 2 months and no communication-emailed yesterday and then tried to wrangle with the automated phone system to no avail. They didn't have to order this from Germany, I would really like to hear something-the technician was great...the company? Very disappointed ...

They are the most expensive windshield installers in town so you would expect that they would do a good job. NOT THE CASE AT THIS LOCATION! POOR WORKMANSHIP & COMMUNICATION!! WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Horrible experience here. Was scheduled to get my windshield replaced and had a standing appointment. When I got there they informed me they did not have the windshield so I wasted my time when they could have just called and told me to reschedule. 2nd time the EXACT SAME THING happened. Showed up with them saying they didn t have the windshield in stock and they would have to use the aftermarket kind. For the non aftermarket they wanted double the price of the windshield compared to the actual dealership. Wow. Horrible customer service and long wait time as well. Waste of time do not get your windshield replaced here.

No warranty s, no coverage, no chip repairs. I bought a brand new windshield and it got a rock chip days later and wasn t covered. Will not go with safelite again due to not covering anything besides bad installation. Waste of money. Glass Dr and other companies have warranty!! The employees are always kind and curious though.

Ordered wrong windshield so the 1st appointment was a bust. They made an another appt later that day and never showed up. They called long after the appt. To say they were running late. Took the day off for NOTHING. It cost me time off work(money).

Had a simple rock chip. Waited over 2hours for them NOT to fix it.Update: in response to the reply below, I was supposed to get a call back for the flub that was such a simple repair. That never happened. Responding to google reviews does not undo the lousy experience and the damage done to my windshield

Excellent customer service that went above and beyond! They kept my daughter s car safe in the bay for us overnight because we could not pick it up by 5:30, and when she picked it up, the sound that had been coming from the windshield area for two years, was finally gone after the newly installed one at Safelite. Her exact words were, They did awesome! It s perfect! We are taking it there every time! Let s hope there is not another broken windshield, but if there ever is, we will definitely be taking it back to Safelite on S Loop.

I caught a rock on the windshield of my 2017 Grand Sport Corvette. The folks at Safelite Auto Glass were able to fix the bullseye so it would not spread in less than 45 minutes. Excellent service!!

Awesome store. Helped us. We were on vacation and they helped take real good care of us. It took less than 40 minutes to fix our windshield chip. Clean waiting area. Nice employees.

We always use the same glass replacement company in Lubbock. The quote with that company for my windshield was over $900. I looked around and found Safelite that online quoted $250. I asked my husband to call and verify that the windsheild would, in fact, cost that price to replace. The female he spoke with verified that as long as we don't mind an after-market windshield it would be about $350 installed and he set up an appointment. Today he arrives early as requested and was informed that the windshield they would have to use for our car would cost over $1000.Had we known that ahead of time, my husband would not have wasted hour and a half trip to Lubbock and back.Accurate information and communication would have been nice up front.Very disappointed and will not use this company again.

My driver's side window needs a new regulator; thinking Satellite would be able to come out and assist asap, I attempted to reach out by phone; got me nowhere. Attempted to book online and the earliest appt was a wk out...not ideal, especially because I'd have to take time off from work-not convenient at all. The company doesn't offer actual appt slots, instead it's a timeframe and all times frames show the same hours, 8A-5P...basically a "we'll get to you when we get to you" situation. The company had an entire week to reach out and let me know that they did not have the correct part or to reach out and let me know that they were ordering/had ordered the part. Today is the day of the appointment. I wish the company had reached out ahead of time to let me know that they didn't have the part in stock. My time was wasted and I missed a day of work. The mechanic told me that their organization recently began operating on Sundays. Hoping to get the issue resolved this Sunday (I have Sunday mornings off). The mechanic was polite and professional, which is the only reason for the 2 star review and not a 1 star review. Update: I attempted to get into my car and it will not unlock for me to get in.

I got a windshield replacement about two months ago. Twice now I ve had the rubber vinyl or plastic trim fly off while driving. The second time these fell off on the highway, they hit my sunroof and caused further damage. Highly recommended if you enjoy encountering more issues and spending your time taking you car back for warranty work.

Customer Service with a smile. The receptionist was so nice and had a great personality!!! If I had a business I would try to get her to come to work for me. The manager was also very customer service oriented. He checked on all the customers waiting every 30 minutes or so. Very nice touch! The technician who replaced our windshield was also nice and professional. When I saw him cleaning all the windows on the truck I was impressed. Overall very positive experience and I would highly recommend.

Went to have a crack in my windshield looked at, it was in the left upper corner, was told that it was not repairable and would need to have windshield replaced, was given a price of 982.00 dollars and about a two week wait went down the street to another glass company and within 15 minutes the crack was repaired at a price of 60 dollars, saved myself 922.00 dollars! Thanks Safelight for saving me money! you can count on me never coming back to your company.

Didnt slove the problem due to workmanship, it was a part od winshild that wasn t covered, even if they put it on the car less then a year ago .

Tried to call 3 times went through 3 different menus in the automated system trying to get a hold of a human simply to find out how long mending process would take. The machine cuts out thinking I'm talking constantly I can't reach a human, horrible way to do business, I will not be using their services.
