Outstanding customer service by Service Foreman Jay Ross! I got in quickly. In about 30 minutes. They put a technician on it and he was very thorough. They coordinated a game plan and let me know what the cost would be if I wanted to move forward. They did everything they said they were going to do. When I left there, my truck ran great, the check engine light was off, and I don t feel like I overpaid for anything. Great value, great service! I would definitely recommend them!

Called last Friday to see if I could drop off my truck on Monday to have it looked at. Service Foreman said yes, bring it Monday and we will look at it. I'm thinking great, they don't have a backlog and can get it in. I drop it off Monday at 12:30 pm. I don't hear anything and I check on it Wednesday. They are looking into it and I get and email that they are diagnosing it. Hear nothing again so I go down there on Thursday and see my truck hasn't moved since Monday where I parked it. I go inside and they tell me now that it will be midldle of next week before they can look at it. REALLY? $250 diagnostic fee and nothing fixed. If your an owner operator, don't come here. You will be put to the end of the line behind fleet customers who have other trucks that can run their business. Rush doesn't care about the single man owner operator. If you want a 2-3 week vacation, come on down.

I called them for a part they said they have it and gave me an order number and everything, I went there all the way from Odessa and they said they don't have it, they got mistaken, they have it in El Paso. 0 stars they just make me waste time and fuel

I own a HINO 338 and Rush Truck Center is a certified Hino dealer with supposedly certified Hino mechanics.I called them and asked to make and appointment to have a Preventative maintenance done. which entails, oil change, primary and secondary fuel filters, lube bumper to bumper. First, I told them not to worry about the air filter i could replace it myself plus it was good for another several months but they replaced. at a unreasonable price.so I bring my truck in first thing the next morning after telling what I wanted the day before. I leave and around 1pm they call me to say we DO NOT HAVE OIL and will have to keep the truck till next day. Wow! incompetent people. Do not even check inventory the day beforehand? The next day late in the afternoon I pick it up and I open the hood all the wiring is unclipped and all over the place and a clamp is missing. Of course they say it was not there but I do post and pre trip inspections so I know it was there. The mechanic was a young kid that had no idea what he is doing. That is who the trust your truck with incompetent young kids with no supervision. Also they charge way above normal prices for parts. a filter costs $68 that charges $91 if they put it on. The same filter is you buy the part from them to put in yourself they charge $180!This place is a mess the manager does not even know anything as a mechanic. If you want to be ripped off and have unqualified people work on your truck this is the place to go.John Connolly

I can honestly say I do not recommend this shop. Do not come here, do not service Foreman Jay Ross. He cannot answer any questions except to say. "I don't know", I don't know what this problem is. Or perhaps he just has a lack of intelligence. It would take these people forever to fix a truck. Go somewhere else and stay away from them.

Brought in my class A motorhome for repairs to the Ford F53 Chassis. They said it would be 4 weeks till they got to it. Wrong! They had it repaired and back to me in 2 weeks. Fantastic service crew. Great communication though texting almost daily. All I can say is thanks to all involved. What a pleasure to deal with this company. Highly recommend.

I went here after another Rush dealer couldn't find the problem with my fuel system. I dealt with Eli from the start to finish. He kept me informed of the status. The technician Ivan Ramirez took the time to explain and show me the problem. Even though I had to spend the weekend I still am very satisfied with my service at Rush Centers Lubbock.

Jeremiah, April, Jay, best in the business here in Lubbock. They literally got me in and out in an amazing time for a great price and we're so kind and courteous you just don't find that anymore in businesses. I want to thank the whole team at truck Rush Center in Lubbock for an amazing job getting me back on the road so that I could meet my movie production team in Santa Fe New Mexico. And I will definitely be back if I'm through here even if it's just to stop in and say hello.

Went in for an alternator, Drew knew the exact match for an '05 with a C15. He really worked to get us a fair price. Awesome, professional and respectful. We shall certainly recommend this Peterbilt Center to others.

I made an appointment two weeks in advance to have the chattering clutch on my 3 month old truck worked on for the third time. I dropped my truck off on Friday morning at 9:00 and it was not even looked at until Tuesday morning. Diagnosis within 2 hours of getting dropped off? That s a joke. When they finally looked at it, they could not find the problem. They expected me to drive 100+ miles to bring them my trailer loaded with cattle so they could try to replicate the problem. When I told them that was not a logical option for me, they stated they would try to find a trailer. By Wednesday afternoon they said they could not find a trailer and they could not find the issue and if I wanted them to look over the truck to dig deeper into the problem I would have to pay for it myself. They also said it would take them 2 days AT LEAST to replace a clutch if that is actually the problem which is absolutely ridiculous. Today I came to pick it up, the desk guys in the service department were rude immediately. I asked if I could take someone with me to show them the issue and they said I would have to pay for someone to ride around with me to diagnose the problem. When you spend a large amount of money on a brand new truck, you would think the dealerships would be willing to at least spend the time to find the problem. My recommendation is to take your truck to any other dealership if at all possible.

If there was 1/2 star, I wouldn't even give them that. I came in with air compressor issues, they "couldn't find" any problem, but hey while we are at it let's service the air dryer. They took it apart, just to find out they didn't have the kit. So I am left with the choice of sit overnight, or bypass the dryer just to get rolling and go to another shop to get the dryer rebuilt. 6 hours later, I am worse off than when I came in.

Delt with Grant the intire time, have to say he's a stand up dude.He could have lied to me on eta of how long to just checking me in.However he told me a real est time frame & they were finished very close to the time I was given coming in the door. It's never really a pleasure having to be towed into the shop. However it was a pleasure not being lied to as some other shops will !!

I have to buy parts here as it's only Pete dealer in my area, but I have to say if you don't have the part number or the old part in your hand they usually order wrong parts happened few times over the years. At least when buying for my older truck, they seem to forget that the older trucks have different exhausts than the new ones ....

Took my truck in for DPF filter cleaning, and other workNo one called to tell me that my filter was saturated with oil. Instead they boiled out the filter and reinstalled. Only mentioning that I had blow by nearly 2 weeks later when I picked up my truck. With a $11,700.00 shop bill.I feel I should have been called immediately when they found the filter full of oil. So the work on the truck could have been redirected toward the inframe that it needed. And taking 11 work days to let me find out that something major had happened to my truck.

Went to St. Louis to get it fixed my shop clear codes, fixed wheel sensors, and fixed light on dash. I left with bill $622.34. DONT GO TO LUBBOCK RUSH PETERBILT. They are extremely slow!! If you drop your truck on Monday don't plan on them looking at it until Wednesday. Not an exaggeration! Also don't wait for them to call you. They won't.

They are extremely slow at Rush. They don't seem to know what they have or where it is. You'll spend 20-30 mins waiting for them to pull a part for you.
