Like most of the other reviews contained within this page, Pete seems in appearance to be a polite and reasonable man. In terms of performance with his business though, he is an incompetent prevaricator. Makes unlimited promises while talking with you, but never follows through. He has had my friends truck for almost 2 years now and was paid in full in advance when the truck was dropped off to him. I drove from Louisiana to Lubbock to check on this for my friend who has some health issues. He promised to have it done within 30 days. That was near 2 months ago now. Stay away from this shop. His shop is full to the rafters with other people's vehicles. He doesn't appear to have worked on any of them! Worthless!Service: Engine repair

Pete did an awesome job! Replaced my engine's rubber bypass hose earlier in the summer, fixed it the same day as drop off! A month ago, he was able to unscrew and replace my oil drain plug with same-day service! After completing it, he acknowledged me to get my rear shocks fixed due to the wear-n-tear. Sure enough, he was right! Scheduled an appointment, and he was able to fix them within the same day! My car rides much smoother now! Any future car problems, I'm going to Pete without a doubt, Nothing but 5-stars for Pete's shop and his work! (Also Nicole at front desk was very helpful and friendly with payments!)Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

I have had my vehicle at his shop for about 3 1/2 years. I have gone over repeatedly to the shop to see when I would be finished with my vehicle. And every time I go he (Pete) states that it would be finished by the end of the month and 3 1/2 years later I'm still waiting for my vehicle to be finished being repaired.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repairServices: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Pete had my car for 4 WEEKS and still did not fix it. We took it in for a tune-up that was 500 dollars then he said it was the timing chain so we trusted him and said okay so now the bill is 1900 hundred dollars then he went from one thing to another. He kept telling me it would be ready in a couple of days which it never was. We were using a finance company to pay for repairs and come to find out he submitted to them his bill showing the work was done. We finally had a tow truck pick up out car after 4 weeks and the new mechanic said he absolutely ruined the motor and it was going to be to expensive to repair so we had to buy another car. He's nice when you go in but DON'T let that fool you. He doesn't know what he's doing!Service: Engine repair

Although he s super nice and polite in person. He s had my car in that shop for 3 and a half Months. i still have yet to get it. The words i keep hearing from there is tomorrow . I have no vehicle besides that and i ve been riding with other people for some time now. So if you see this post, i would recommend for quality repairs, but i wouldn t recommend if you want your car done within the next week cause it will take him months.Service: Transmission

Posting on behalf of Gary Harbig. This place has had his vehicle for over a year with the entire bill paid and Pete will not call any of us back. It has been ridiculous.

I am still waiting on my car to be fixed. They have had it since August of last year. I have called everyday to ask about it and I get voicemail. Then when he does call back he tells me the next week it will be done and I don't hear back from him. Terrible communication. I have to go up there just to get him to acknowledge the fact he still has my car!!Service: Engine repair

Have used Pete twice now and it has been a positive experience both times. Charged me for a remove and replace oil pan gasket that he did not do. I still have the oil leak. Can't go go back because it would take him another 2 &1/2 weeks to complete.Very disappointed.

Great place to go and get your vehicle fixed. Pete is an awesome mechanic and diagnosed our problem quickly and got us back on the road.
