They perform absolutely terrible work. No pride just rushed botched jobs. Absolutely disgusting what they did with my 1978 MGB. Originally the vehicle was brought in because some drunk idiot slammed into the front fender while it was parked. They went super heavy on the bondo and painted directly on top of it WITHOUT A PRIMER LAYER. They painted the whole car directly on top of the old paint. Shortly after I picked it up the paint was cracking everywhere. A hole devolved and I brought it back for them to fix the issues. They had the car for over a year and did jack. When I picked it up and noticed they didn t actually properly repair the paintwork They mixed up a batch of paint and just touched up a few spots. They had no problems taking the insurance money to do a proper job but this is totally unacceptable work. I took the car because I m just so fed up and tired of dealing with their lack of morals and work ethic. Stay far away from this place if you have a vehicle that you value.

Super happy with my experience! They provided a free rental car while they fixed my car, and it was even nicer than MY car! They did a great job fixing it back better than before, and even detailed my car. Highly recommend! Thanks, AG!

Best service I have ever received from a body shop .and perhaps any service industry.My daughter s car was damaged while attending TTU. I live 4 hours away. I made one phone call, gave them my insurance information, vehicle information, and my daughter s phone number. They took care of everything from there. My daughter was never without transportation. Great work and superior customer service. Thank you Michelle and Aaron.

Would highly recommend. After searching around town PDN had the most competitive prices (of 5 places I inquired) and the free loaner was great as our family only has 1 car. Can't even tell the car was ever scratched. Service quick and courteous. Pics before and after. Thank you!

A guy that goes by the name, "AG" is the one you want to ask for. When I needed my truck done in a timeline, he made sure it was done right. The price was awesome as well! You won't regret going here!

Aaron and his crew at Paint Doctor are the best! They took care of my sons truck and did a wonderful job repairing the body damage, and they even fixed a mistake made by a different body shop. This is by far the best body shop in Lubbock! They took in my nearly totaled car and made it look like the day I drove it off the lot. They were always professional and were great at communicating with me. Their loaner cars were great and I appreciated since my car was in the shop for so long. Best...service...ever. These fine folks went above and beyond. I had an insurance claim for hail damage and not only did they handle all the heavy lifting with insurance, they were able to negotiate an unusual repair that required quite a bit of leg work. The repairs were done according to the quote and not a penny more- and the repairs that were done exceeded my expectations. AND finally, when I picked up my car, it looked even better than before the hail damage!They had cleaned my car so well including an exterior paint buff and the interior also looked super clean. I m sure glad I made the choice to use The Paint Doctor. Javier Garcia, the GM, was courteous and did a great job communicating what his team was going to do and how long it would take to repair. He exceeded my expectation on both fronts. The car was finished a week earlier than anticipated and to my pleasant surprise, they had touched up a few areas of the car that I wasn t expecting to have done. Javier communicated the whole time and the car looks perfect. I will recommend the team at Paint Doctor anytime. It s hard to find honest repair shops that do quality work and go above and beyond what you expect.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This is based on the call. Took four min to answer the phone. Was transferred three times. Gentleman I spoke with informative but not thrilled to be talking on the phone. Helpful but not helpful. My vehicle was wrecked and would be minimum two weeks. No helpful advice, no apologies acted as if he didn't care weather or not he had my business.

They did a great job! We had a key scratch, and they blended the paint perfectly. They were super easy to work with. Paint Doctor had it done in 2 days and even kept it indoors until we could pickup. Javier was honest and upfront on what he thought was necessary when it came to the few hail dents we had. I d use them again in a heart beat.

Do not use this company. They defaced my 2018 corvette. Damages are over $5000. Scottie was supposed to call back and get paint right and never did. Leaving me with the responsibility. Stay away from Paint Dr. N. Frankford.!!! 2000 to repaint. 3000 for damaged headlights and interior damage is to be totalled yet. They put cleaner on leather damaging interior. Again save your vehicle which you love and paid so much for. Stay away.All for a scratch on bumper.Service: Painting

Used these guys because of the good ratings. Job took a month to the day to finishTook my work pickup home and the tailgate was not painted correctly. There were spots on a silver tailgate that were red. The backup camera didn't work, nor did the rear bumper back up sensors. The 5th wheel electrical box that was supposed to be mounted on the wall of bed, was hanging free.I text pictures the day after getting it to the adjuster, and was told he was out of town.And he could address it the following week.$6600 and nearly 4 weeks I have not heard a word.

Losing over $5,000 because Paint Doctor Mistake. This Endeavor started back in June 8th I got into and accident with my Toyota Tacoma I took it with the Paint Doctors because someone recommended them. I Talk with Javier he let me know he would be able to get the work done should only take roughly about a month or so which I understood. He let me know he would be able to get the body work, Mechanical , and electrical. After about a month he let me know all the body work and all Mechanical work was done and completed. Last thing that was the Electrical work. At this time I did have to leave to another town which they did help me with a car I could drive which I did appreciate but it did restrict me from doing certain jobs for my work why I have a truck. Next month Javier let me know it should be ready but it wasn't this happen for a total of 4 Months September 12 2019 They claim the truck was completely fixed but by the time I got their it was not fix Javier told me that everything was done but the electrical issue was not fix after these 4 month I need to leave. My work force the reason I was in Texas. I could no longer work in the area. Since everyone had left I need to get my own living situation so I was spending hundreds of dollars waiting for my truck could be fix after a grueling waiting already for 4 months. I could no longer wait after spending hundreds of dollars and losing thousands of dollars of lost work. I would take care of the the electrical issue so I had to drive to the next work location. Once I arrived shortly after I started to hear a noise coming from where the wreak had happen. Turn out they didn't fix it correctly. Ask Javier what I should he said to get It check out and if it was related to the accident he would pay to get it fix I do have a text of him saying this. Once I showed him with pictures and everything and realized the work they contacted to be done didn't do it correctly. I waited for as long as I could but I could no longer go with out a Truck so I got it fix It cost $4,200 I ask him to get this taken care of he drag it out another 3 months and last week he told be tough luck do another claim on your insurance. This was is Ridiculous I have lost over $5,000 because of their bad work I am very disappointed the company or Javier will not take responsibility for their mistake. Claim it was my fault that a drove the truck home. Which from last I checked the purpose of having a Truck is to drive it .

Paint Doctor was fantastic. They gave me a price that was almost half the other price quote. Our vehicle had been rear-ended. Now it looks brand new. Shelley and Shane were super friendly, super patient, and super accommodating. We hope we don't get any body damage any time soon, but if we do, we'll bring it straight to Paint Doctor.

Ok, so I initially came here July 2020 for insurance claim from accident. They replaced my front bumpy. Paint doesn't quite match...but whatev. And my running lights have never worked since Recently, my bumper has been loose, like wiggly. Took it to another shop who removed the bumper and saw it only has Ben mounted with 4 screws!! It requires 22!!! And my running lights were NOt plugged in! Lazy, shoddy work! And they had my car for almost 2 weeks! For a bumper!!! Refused to work with me on my deductible. NEVER again!!

Had my new vehicle worked on and missed a lot of the hail damage the first time I went to pickup after having it about 2 and a half weeks. The second rime after going to see the vehicle it still had damage. Lets just say there is no third time. Who ever the quality control is over the finish product is not doing a good job.

I just want to share a little of my experience with Paint Doctor. I m not going to lie, I was a bit nervous in the beginning leaving my car. Getting notification updates about my vehicle every 2-3 days made me feel at ease and I never had to once call them. They give you a good working vehicle as a loaner so that you don t have to stress on how to get to work or cancel any family time while your car is getting fixed. Paint doctor picks up and delivers your vehicle. It s always what is easier for you I would like to give a special thanks out to Joe Ellis who is the one that helped make everything as easy as snapping your fingers. John was awesome... They really had good customer service, but where my truck was buffed (where they painted the areas that needed to be fixed) it left swirl marks. I took it back and John was very apologetic and had them retouch those areas and it STILL has the "cob web swirls" which gives it that hologram effect. They also put my vehicle emblems on and they are not straight or properly spaced. I'm upset because I will have to take this to someone else to fix this. I was very hesitant to write this review because they were very nice and easy to work with but the whole swirl thing has me sick. My truck is black, and you can see EVERYTHING on black paint!!!

Professional, reliable, great work! Paint Doctor was recommended by a friend and we're happy we listened. They repaired a car that had been in a front end accident and the results are perfect. Would highly recommend.

Took my first car to Shane about 10 years ago. I would never even think about using anyone else. The work is fantastic, people are friendly, I also send them Christmas cards. Doesn't get any better than this.

I have to edit my review unfortunately. I have found scratches on my hood that were not there, scratches inside my driver door that were not there, my back mats are missing on the floor for the back row. Buffed half the car for a two inch door scratch. This left swirls and really sub par blending in a huge area from the "polish" they used. Not a clue why they would think this was at all necessary. Really bad experience... staff was polite and work was relatively cheap. Just not at all to good standards.They also WILL take your car for a joy ride.They didn't know but I have aftermarket ECU that showed me them taking it to red line and driving it to the max.Great...

If you like to win, then you need to go to the Paint Doctor. Their quote was half what someone else in town quoted for hail damage repair, and they delivered more than promised. (Our rear bumper was redone even though it wasn't part of the original quote.) If you need body work done, you won't regret going by to see Javier and the good folks at Paint Doctor.

If you are looking for a professional liar, you will find one here. His name is Javier. Not only were the lights in the vehicle not connected but they did half the job listed on the insurance claim. We had to chase him down to get updates and more lies. Would never, ever use or recommend.

After a brutal hail storm they did an awesome job getting my Hyundai straightened back out and on the road again. I would recommend them to anyone in Lubbock and on the South Plains.
