The only reason I took my car to Gene Messer for repair is because I trust or assumed they will be professional and provide me a top notch service. After waiting for three weeks, borrowing money and maxing out my credit card to pay for a repair worth almost $4k, the same issue resurfaced after a week of driving my car.Although the repair is covered by 2 years warranty and I am paying no dime to get it refixed, I have ZERO faith in them to provide a better service that will give a worthwhile fix to my issue.I am so dejected and sad about the whole issue. I will speak to my attorney about getting my refund if possible.

Making an appointment for service, but when I arrived was told that my car wouldn't be seen until over a week later. Living out of town, so this wasn't helpful. Read the other reviews, it is not worth coming to this establishment, go on YouTube and diy. Smh.

I purchased my truck from Gene messer ford and prior to delivery, the truck received an oil change and a new set of tires. I ended up having to go get the tires balanced at discount tire due to vibration at highway speeds. I also just recently got my first oil change and discovered that the oil filter had been over tightened so much that the filter had to be destroyed to be removed. Luckily it came off in one piece and didn t cause too much of an issue. I don t believe that I would return for service unless required by warranty.Services: Tires, Oil change

Were not upfront about pricing with me. Over the phone I asked the tech what exactly they're going to run me after the diagnostics were done. He told me since they didn't find a problem or service it he would charge nothing. When I arrive to pick up the truck lo and behold I have a $330 bill to pay. Lady was rude to me when trying to explain the tech told me no charge. I tried to call the tech back the next day he was available and I was told he was busy. Two days later I still have not received a call back. Bad service.

Paid 200.00 to be told there was nothing wrong with my car but a case of "bad gas", a "one-off". Needless to say, the problems continued and found out needed all new spark plugs and air flow sensor. Why didn't Ford check for this?

This is not a service department, its a front for pranking people into thinking they are getting their car repaired. They'll schedule you to come in, then not assess your vehicle for days, they won't communicate on any findings, then they will argue without provocation about any possible questions. Their "service advisors" do not treat people well nor do they listen to the issues you may be having with your vehicle. If you find yourself as I did finally getting possession of my vehicle back from them, you will find they have fixed no issues and likely caused more.Service: Auto maintenance

Spent over $5000 and just bought more issues. Thought I was making the right decision bringing my vehicle to Gene Messer Ford, but now I m stuck with more problems than they fixed. Took my truck in to get cam phasers changed only to have it dump all of its cooling fluid the next day. You d think something that obvious would have been caught. Come to find out it s because the cooling pump is failing due to their improper handling of the engine repair. They should have replaced every single gasket they touched, instead I m dealing with more faults and even loose bolts in my engine!!! These additional repairs are necessitated by their incompetence, and they want another $2K to fix their mistakes! I m sick to my stomach after finding this out and my experience with Gene Messer has been nothing short of nauseating.Service: Auto maintenance

I took my truck in for maintenance and had a coupon. The new/young kid who checked me forgot to include coupon. I just mentioned that on the customer review and they sent me a check for the coupon savings without even being asked! I consider that good service! There were some issues at first in the Service department. However, the Service Manager fixed the issue, counseled his team, and we received a great price on new tires and alignment. It took a little longer to get the vehicle back but worth it!

Got my bronco sport serviced there about 2 weeks ago. I could not be happier with the service, Daniel got my car in quick, got me a ride to work and had my car done by the end of the day!

On January 5, 2022, we were towing our 5th wheel from our home in Colorado to South Padre Island. We left Amarillo that morning. Shortly after leaving Amarillo, it became obvious that our truck was not running properly. We decided to have it looked at. The first Ford dealer that we went into said that they might be able to get to it in a few days. We contacted Gene Messer Ford, they told us to bring it over to them. When we arrived, Glenn Norris met with us and told us that there were others in front of us, but he would try to get us in that day. Glenn was able to get us in and the repairs completed that day!!! Glenn saved our trip!!! Thanks, Glenn!!!

Everyone in the service department was super nice. They were willing to figure out and repair a problem another dealership in Clovis wouldn't or couldn't correct. They had to keep our truck for awhile, but it was worth the drive to Lubbock!

This place Gene Messer Ford is the absolute worst service I've ever had. Oil change, tire rotation, not sure if they even changed the filter. I do know they never rotated the tires, had to bring it back, took another hour to do that. MY AD6IS NEVER BUY A CAR OR TRUCK FROM THESE IDIOTS, ANSD SURE AS HELL NEVER EVER HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT ...Service: General repairs & maintenance
