I bought a used Yukon from them. Love my car, but this is the second time it has been in the service department. Both times it has to stay because they don't have the person who works on that problem, or some other reason. I took it in on Monday. She told me it would be 3-4 days. Called today(Wednesday) and was told that it hasn't been looked at yet and it says in notes that she told me 4-5 days. Humm that's not what I heard! The man said she would call me back in a little bit. Never got a call, and I know that they are closed now! I'm going to Dallas on Sunday and need my car! If my warranty will transfer, I will definitely take it elsewhere. They called today (Thursday) and said they might be able to get it done by Monday! The maintenence was finished, but the system update couldn't be done yet. NOPE! I went and got it. 9 days for a system update! Took it straight to another shop. Will be done tonight. I will not be returning.

This morning on 04/05/24 I came in to have the service department check my car battery. I had been having problems with the car not starting sometimes but then starting after awhile. The two guys that helped me went above and beyond to check the battery. It was a good battery but I just wanted to give those two guys some recognition for being so kind and helpful towards me. Thank you

Friendly service. They didn't take too long. What I didn't care for is that tire rotation is offered but not executed. Worse yet is that they only did 2 of the 4 tires and I know this due to tire pressures differing on front and rear wheels. So you get a front tire with a rear wheel pressure (70psi) and the other front tire has the appropriate front tire pressure (60psi), meaning only 2 tires got swapped front to back. Not only that, why would techs not care to look at tire pressure?! Makes me wonder how they do the rest of the world they supposedly do.

I really like Gene Messer Chevrolet! I traded my old truck in for a 2020 Ford f150 XLT. It handles very well and the salesman was very kind and helpful! If you're looking for a new truck Gene Messer Chevrolet is the place to go! They shoot you straight. They'll answer any questions you have and won't sell you a lemon.

I went online making an attempt to talk to someone about my truck and possibly service it, but to no avail no response even though the system said it contacted the service department and to await a call back.... no call back since Wednesday, 9/27. So that same day I called and was transferred to the service department...no answer, but the lady that answered said she would get ahold of the service department and have them call me when someone was available to give me a more specific info on servicing my truck. It's Friday, and there was no call back. Plus, I was there in Lubbock all day helping family move, but still no call either. Making me think they don't need more people that need their help. They just can't handle what people they have to service already. I will have to try somewhere else that would like my business.

I Bought a used suburban in November of 2020. DVD system did NOT work. We agreed when the transaction happened that DVD system would be fixed. The dealership held up their end of the deal. The DVD system works now. The service department is unsatisfactory. Not only have I had to bring the purchased suburban in 4 times, but they damaged the dash each time they ve had it. I m appalled by the carelessness of the workers they had working on it. So now, I have to bring it in yet again for the damages to be repaired...when the parts are ordered. This is the first and last time I will do business with this establishment.The service department finally made everything right. 3/17/21

I came to get my truck maintained and specifically requested to have my transmission checked on and have my stereo updated to work with my phone.Neither were followed as the cashier lady told me that they're "behind three weeks" on getting my transmission checked and she didn't know what I was talking about when I wanted my stereo updated. This was a waste of my time going here just for them to not follow my requests that I listed on my appointment sheet. Just go elsewhere.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Beware, appointments are for their convenience and mean nothing to you as the customer. I made an appointment for the morning, waited in line when I got there (I didn t mind that) then when I said I made appointment for an oil change they said it d be 1.5-2 hours of a wait. The service writer then informed me that the appointment was for a time with him and I actually didn t book any kind of shop time. If your time important to you I d suggest using someone else for service. I won t go back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I left a good review a couple weeks ago on July 14th when I picked up my '21 Chevy High Country from service. I didn't know at the time, but they done a CPU reset to get check engine light off, but didn't replace the part that caused the light to come on initially. Now today I'm without my truck again due to the same check engine light coming back on, reading the exact code it did two weeks ago (O2 Sensor/Emissions) I'm due out of town for business, and was advised if I drove the truck, the CPU could limit my speed to a crawl. Hoping they can get this issue resolved quickly, as I have 24k miles on the new truck..

Not happy today, got there super early 640 and didn't get out until 10am I've never experienced this for a oil change and tire rotation. But the upside is that I was accommodated for it

We had a car problem leaving our hotel in Lubbock Saturday morning. Luckily we were right next to this GM dealership. The service advisor, John Dillon, told us that he wasn't sure if they could get to it today because they were really busy, but he would see what he could do. We are in the middle of a two week long road trip with and bunch of kids and all our hotels are already booked and non-refundable, so this set back is a big deal! We brought our car in at 9:00 am and we were driving out of Lubbock at 11:00 am! Thank you so much for having pitty on us and being so quick!

Best service ever. Eshan done a amazing job and helped my mom find the car she wanted, so friendly and courteous and he showed her all features and how to work them on the new car. I highly recommend this dealership and ask for Eshan he will give you a great deal.

It was ok, but was wanting to talk to the original dealer ship guy that helped us 5yrs ago. He was promoted to a higher position so he couldn't help. I still like that dealership.

Took truck in to get ac fixed, now truck does not drive right and makes noises it has never made. Going to give them one final chance to fix the issue, then going to trade truck off. Will never own Chevy again or buy from Gene Messer. You can get a vehicle cheaper in Dallas if you make the trip, at least 10,000 dollars cheaper.

I dropped my car on Monday. They said they will call me on Wednesday. I called them on Wednesday around 5 pm and they said they will call me back. I didn t receive the call and I am still waiting. Very bad service.
